“I hired Bravo Catering to provide the main courses for my mom’s viewing, and I’m truly grateful for their service.

Rachel, our main point of contact, was wonderful—communicative, patient, and incredibly helpful. She thoughtfully recommended a selection of dishes to comfortably serve 100 guests.

Our order included:

3 trays of meatballs

Tray of penne Alfredo

Tray of penne Bolognese

Tray of penne pesto

Tray of chicken piccata

Tray of Caesar salad

2 trays of summer salad

3 trays of torta de mela

I also supplemented the catering with additional main dishes, five giant New York–style pizzas, and various desserts and side dishes generously provided by friends and family.

The food was a huge hit, and to our surprise, we were able to accommodate close to 225 guests, far more than we originally expected.

While I did need to provide the full tray racks and sternos for heating, Bravo truly went above and beyond. They arrived with a team of three, delivered everything seamlessly, and made sure the heating elements were fully ready before setting the trays in place. That extra care meant a lot to us during such an emotional time.

As an unexpected and deeply touching gesture, Bravo also surprised our family with a beautiful floral arrangement in honor of my mother’s passing.

“If you don't know what wood fired pizza is you'd think it's burnt. It's not Dominos pizza it's artisan pizza cooked in high temperature oven with that perfect char. We met them at the Holiday Market at Petco Park and they were a well oiled machine. The entire staff looked super happy and their customer service was top notch! Can't wait to try again! The food was incredible and truly one of the highlights of the night. Guests were raving about it all evening, and so many went back for seconds. We are still receiving compliments! One thing that really stood out to us was how attentive and responsive the team was. During our tasting, we felt the red meat option was a little blander than our liking. They genuinely took our feedback to heart, made adjustments, and it was noticeably improved on our wedding day. That level of care meant so much to us.

“This place has been pulling up to my apartment almost weekly and I decided to give it a shot tonight. Admittedly I wasn’t expecting much, I was wrong. IT.WAS.AMAZING. I have lived in San Diego for my whole life and this was hands down the best quality quesabirra tacos I’ve had from a taco truck. Food was amazing price for the portion size. Definitely will be back to try more! Oh and the churros are really good too!

“We are locals and every time we visit Seaport Village we always visit this Ben & Jerry’s ice cream shop. We’ve visited so much we’ve had the pleasure of meeting the owner Michelle. She’s very friendly and loves her customers. She’s adamant all her employees make every customer feel special. On this occasion we were served by Julian who was a very nice, cheerful and a polite young man. We adore their homemade waffle cones dipped in a large variety of toppings from chocolate to sprinkles to nuts and many more. We are in awe of the huge selection of flavors. They have so many varieties they even have a Ben & Jerry’s ice cream made and dedicated for doggies. We love our ice cream and we love this family owned business. Go get your 🍦“
