“THE STAFF ARE VERY KIND VERY FRIENDLY VERY COURTEOUS AND THE FOOD IS BY FAR SOME OF THE BEST THAT YOU'LL FIND IN IMPERIAL BEACH LET ALONE SAN DIEGO. ALTHOUGH THE PRICES HAVE GONE UP BY ABOUT A BUCK OVERALL IN THE PAST COUPLE MONTHS THE FOOD IS WELL WORTH IT.“

“Good fresh pizza that you can purchase by the slice or purchase the entire pie. The have an $11.00 special where you can get two slices of pizza and a soft drink. I believe for the dollars more you can upgrade to one beer. They usually have 10 different pizzas available and you can eat inside out outside in their large patio. Not the most cleanest feeling place but the pizzas are great. They also go sandwiches and pasta dishes but I can't comment on those as I haven't tried them yet. Good place to eat just before you go out to the beach to watch the sun set.“

We finished with an affogato, which was the ideal ending—simple, rich, and satisfying. Monzu offers authentic Southern Italian fare with genuine hospitality, and everything we tried reflected both freshness and craftsmanship. Owner Molly was welcoming and Jack, our server was wonderful too. We met chefs on vacation who had come twice in a week to eat there too. Don’t walk, run. But get a reservation, seating is limited.“

The servings are very small and there are tons of other places to eat or order take out around here if they want to be jerks about it! “My boyfriend and I ordered to pick up chicken and chicharron empanadas and before arriving we called to tell them to separate the empanadas and they didn't answer, we called again and they didn't answer either so we assumed they were very busy (we were about 2 minutes from the place) when we arrived we saw the 2 people who were there doing nothing and talking ( the place was empty) So when we arrived we told them that we were calling them and they didn't answer. We told them that if they could separate the empanadas and they did it in a way that they were lazy“

“Went there with my family last night after the game. The line was super long, and the wait time wasn’t short either but honestly, I didn’t mind at all because the food was absolutely incredible.
What really stood out to me was the girl with short hair she was doing pretty much everything. She was handling customers, double checking orders, running around making sure everything was right, and even cleaned up the restaurant once things slowed down.
All I can say is: she 100% DESERVES a raise (or at the very least some serious recognition). It’s rare to see someone work that hard and still deliver amazing customer service these days. 👏“

My date shouldn't hear the price of the tab. This really lacked finesse.

“This was a great little rooftop bar that I just happened to notice while waiting on our shuttle. It decorated very modern and cute! The host/waiter was very personable and super friendly.
