“The Pink Cabana is an absolute gem! The ambiance and decor are stunning – chic, vibrant, and so thoughtfully designed. We came with a large group of seven, and the customer service was nothing short of outstanding. The staff was attentive, friendly, and made us feel so well taken care of.

We had an issue with one meal, and the team went above and beyond to make it right, which speaks volumes about their dedication to creating a great experience for every guest. Everything else we ordered was absolutely delicious.

“The lounge is decorated nicely. The food menu is limited but it is designed as small bites to go with your drinks. They have a lovely selection of cocktails. Our server was very nice and friendly. For drinks we ordered a Paloma and for appetizers raw tuna tostada. Both were excellent so we ordered the same food again. A very pleasant spot to have a night cap.“

The food was excellent and was served quickly. Service was good and friendly.
We especially liked that there were multiple vegetarian options on the menu. They had indoor and outdoor seating available.
Beer and wine are available.
We will definitely return here sometime and we will recommend it to our friends.

Small KR tea shop, HUGE flavors! Everything here is incredible - all the drinks are delicious, the boba is fresh and the perfect consistency, the dacquoise cookies are always fresh and taste amazing (without being overly sugary; flavors are excellent) and the ladies that work here are super sweet and kind every time I’ve been. I cannot say enough good things here!

We wanted to try a Coachella Valley favorite- the date shake.
We came across Lappert’s and decided to give them a try.
The store has a fun vibe to it. The gentleman working was very friendly and helpful. It looks like they have a very broad and creative menu, and can make just about anything that one could imagine. My husband ordered the date shake and I opted for the small cup with 2 generous scoops.
The standard cookies and cream was probably the best version I have ever had. It appears as they make all of their ice cream themselves.
For my other scoop I tried the Navels and ganach. What I really liked was that it was an orange ice cream and not a sorbet.
It tasted like one of the boxed chocolate flavors.
I would say the real winner here was the date shake. It has a very unique flavor, but not too strong. They used date ice cream and vanilla ice cream.
I would definitely recommend Lappert’s!!“

“Go there. Eat there. The Gluten Free bread option with my meat lover's scramble was tasty and better than most bland options. Our delightful server, Jennifer, said it was from a local bakery. Sat outside and were fully shaded from the sun. Nice relaxed atmosphere and even the bathroom was a relaxing space. Good way to end our weekend before heading back home. (Bonus: there's a Comic Book shop just across the parking lot).“

The service was fairly quick, amicable staff and clean establishment. Great selection of food options. Tuna sandwich was fantastic as was the chocolate crossaint and horchata drink. Ambiance was nice for a historic downtown, outdoor patio area to eat. Not loud and able to have a conversation without yelling. Free Street and lot parking available“

“Randomly stopped in for a bite as I had a dreading 2 hour drive back home. I was hungry and cranky but as soon as I walked in, it all changed. The owner was very personable and the food was amazing, best I’ve ever had. The bread is homemade and is easily the star in the sandwich! I recommend stopping by for a bite.“

Like they should have a flavor of the week so there's more of a variety. Like if you come here regularly you get tired of the menu. Also I wish they had slices or samples of the bread. “Amazing cafe in the heart of the desert. I have traveled all over the country and Europe for work & I can stay in the desert & America, this is a pure gem! You can’t even find this feeling in nyc Everyone is friendly and nice. An amazing place to come to people watch with an Italian spritz or glass of wine fantastic selection if you know your wine as well as a morning cup of coffee which is pure crack as all of us locals say great panini‘s and sandwiches with a home cooked feel when you need some happiness in your stomach. I need to detox before going get back on a sottovoce fix . Mindy & The owner Natalie are very kind & are always accommodating & welcoming if you can’t make it to Palm Desert stop to visit them in Palm Springs which I hear is fabulous!

“Stopped at Shields today. We had breakfast, followed by a walk around the gardens. So many trees had fruit on them, just going to waste. Signs all over saying "don't pick the fruit." Instead of letting the fruit rot on the trees, why not pick the fruit to sell or even donate to a food pantry? I was saddened seeing all the fruit going to waste.“

“This place is a hidden gem for sure! Went here while on vacation and it was the best decision. The papusas were NOT greasy which is often an issue with papusas, these were really tasty. The spicy salsa is recommended as it is flavorful. It was my first time having Salvadorian Horchata and it was definitely a lot different than mexico horchata. I would recommend trying it!“

“Took our neighbors for their 40th anniversary. Even though they’ve lived in the valley for multiple decades, they had never been there (which is what I had hoped so as to surprise them). Took us newbies (less than 3 years) to introduce them to one of the valley’s hidden gems. They were captivated and very impressed and appreciative of their dining experience at this lovely setting. Each of us had a different entree and everyone was super pleased with their choice. Our guest has named Melange her new favorite restaurant.“
