“I used to come here all the time for years and this was my first time back since the pandemic..

I had some lemon pepper wings which were good.. But that was the only food I had so can't really talk about food so much..
The drink menu was a lot different than it was under the previous ownership.. but I opted for wine so I can't speak to any of the mixed drinks.

They still have the music which is pretty much the only reason I ever went. I caught the tail end of the led zeppelin cover band which is totally not my thing.. Never been a fan of heavy metal...it's s very loud for no reason but the audience clearly came to see them and loved them..

After them comes the reggae, which is what I came for and in times past it was an entire band which is what I thought I was going to go see, but it was only one guy doing music.. And for it to only be one guy, it took him a long time to get set up and started..

Solo guy wasn't really my thing, you can't really bring it like a band can..We stayed for one song and left..

The inside atmosphere is pretty much the same as it's always been, you know. Lots of cool people having a good time but the music selection for this time around just wasn't for me...

My suggestion would be to update the Facebook page with who the artists are for each weekend to save people the hassle who don't want to come here's certain bands or people.. Maybe try like some of the restaurants like Spagettini and Kobe's and have a music menu calendar so it's clear to people who they're coming to see..
A good R & B cover band would be a good addition to the music rotation..

On a side note, there has been a older gentleman that I have seen come there for years..he totally gives hippie who was at woodstock and had one too many shrooms, he pretty much stands in one spot and jumps around but it was good to see that he's still alive and well and doing the same thing!!

But for those wondering how it is under the new management it's still the exact same thing.. Good people, good vibes, and it's at the beach so, you will have a good time no matter what.“

“This could easily be a 5 star location. I'll start with the things that drop it. But honestly, they are so small. Atmosphere, the main spot has it all, the side patio is still comfy but it feels segregated. The food is soo good, its just a few bucks over the average and would be the best if the same rate. There is a valet, but otherwise you have to find street parking. The chicken and waffles was the best. They paired up beautifully with taste. Couldn't tell you which was better. The servers and hostess are very friendly. Make you feel at home.“

“Okay so this place was at one point a bikini bar (and maybe still is?), but was recently taken over by the chef from Il Pastaio. The food is certainly better than one should reasonably expect from a dive bar, although you have to ask for the old menu if you want risotto with scallops, housemade tagliatelli, etc. Personally I find the combination of a white tablecloth and neon lights adds a frisson of dynamic tension to my meal, ymmv“

“I performed a Blues concert there this week in their large music hall & library with bar which adjoins a very busy bar room playing old school
recorded R&B. It's a lively and fun place to hang. There's cocktails, beer, music and pool tables. A diverse friendly crowd. They let you Postmate or bring food. There's even an outdoor patio.“

I thoroughly enjoyed everything we ordered. Their al pastor and chorizo & cheese tacos were excellent, and I loved the creamy seafood enchiladas. They honored my requests to make the margaritas a little drier for all of us, and they came out perfectly balanced. Definitely would return.“

“So CHEAP! For being one of the only legit sports bars with DJs and Karaoke and really good food, they’re really affordable and have the best specials in the Gardena area on top of that. They have 2 happy hours ! Early and long hours Happy hour from 12-5pm and happy hour from 6-8pm. But other than that they have different specials every day and flash specials like $10 Don Julio shots on karaoke nights. Thursday and Sunday are karaoke nights and they have different DJs every month. $5 margaritas on Monday and Wednesday, $6 Cazadores and Mexican beers on Tuesdays and the best taco Tuesday specials! $4 wine and champagne Wednesday nights. “Great place to see local and touring bands. Not a lot of seating options. Only one bathroom stall for the ladies room. The drinks are priced "Hollywood style" but they're really friendly. It has a large parking structure in the back of the establishment. The sign is really small to see so unless you know this place, you might miss it on the first visit“
