“I saw this bar on my home from work one day. The name got my attention. I stopped in looking for a nice spot close to work that I could tell my coworkers about and I found it. Nick was the first person that I spoke to. He was very helpful. I later met Sydney and she was as accommodating as Nick. Very nice staff.

“It was amazing, we went there on Friday late at night and it was happy hour!!!! We had some amazing Albacore rolls for about $3.00!! What??? The shrimp tempura was crispy and delicately sweet, we tried a few things, the seaweed salad was great, all the food was great but the highlight was an A5 Wagyu skewer, on arrival it looked a bit small but the two pieces of grilled melting meat are more than enough to feel the amazing taste of the marbled wagyu, I didn’t really need more. The service is outstanding, all the staff is super polite and the prices are incredible at that time of night. I’m looking forward for next weekend to go try a few things we saw the waiter bringing to the tables, we sat at the bar and kept asking -what was THAT!! And they were so nice and polite to stop and explain the dishes. Lovely lovely.“

Disregard the previous review that was freaking out about the chairs. It happened right in front of us and the person was just there to look at their phone, not watch the game, not engage with the other patrons, nothing. It came off as entitled and sad. “We went here for dinner on Monday evening. The place was easy to locate. Parking was underground and there were several spots available so overall got there in good spirits.

When we entered the restaurant, the server at the bar asked us to grab a few menus and seat ourselves. The restaurant was completely empty so we had a choice of tables to pick from! The inside of the restaurant was a little dark and dingy. The tables were old and overall, the inside appeared tired.

The server was at our table very quickly. We were the only client so we got his full attention! He was a very nice guy, very pleasant and friendly. We placed our drinks orders and they came out immediately. We then ordered a salad and a pizza to be split between the two of us.

The salad came out quickly and was excellent. Everything was fresh and the mozzarella cheese was very nice. The dressing was delicious as well.

Soon after, the pizza came out. The crust was absolutely amazing, almost perfect. Above all, it tasted amazing. As we were eating I tried to get the servers attention for a drink refill. That took some doing despite there not being anyone else - perhaps, it would have been easier if there were more clients and they would have been more attentive! Anyway, once I got his attention, the drink came along quickly!

Overall, we really enjoyed the meal. They have been around for 35 years and I feel that fact is reflected both in the quality of their food (very good leading to great success) and the furniture (really shows its age!!). I would certainly be coming back here anytime I want a quick meal/pizza and I recommend it strongly for anyone in the area looking to have good pizza.“

“My girlfriends and I had the best meal at Zarape! We easily made a reservation online and they called to confirm 45 mins before. We had the cutest corner booth inside. We took advantage of their awesome happy hour deals and got the nachos (yummy real pepper jack cheese… not fake gooey queso) and the guac. We also got spicy margaritas for $10 each! They were so good. My friend and I split the chicken enchiladas and each got two shrimp tacos which was a great serving for us. The chicken enchilada was a big portion and so good with the green salsa. The shrimp on the tacos was big and tasted fresh :) we will definitely be back!
