I went during the free thin cookie giveaway and bought the Dubai style chocolate cookie. $7 for 2 thin cookies. I got the brownie batter and it was great, falling apart but good. Taste wise for Dubai chocolate was also good. Cookie quality in terms of taste is not the issue. I love chewy cookies but I'm giving it 3 stars for value and also how my cookies stuck together by the time I got home, which was less than 2 miles, so packaging fail. The ladies working at the shop was nice and quick. But $7 for 2 filmsy cookie is a bit expensive in my opinion.“

“If you’re looking for authentic Japanese traditional sweets in Gardena, Chikara Mochi is a must-visit! Their yaki dango (similar to mitarashi dango) is absolutely delicious—soft, chewy, and perfectly balanced without being overly sweet.

They also have a beautiful selection of wagashi and mochi that are almost too cute to eat. Everything is colorful, photogenic, and clearly made with care.

The staff were incredibly friendly and took the time to explain the different sweets, which made the experience even more enjoyable. I can’t wait to come back and try more!“

“Pretty good bingsu! Not the best I've had but not bad either. We had the hojicha flavor and it was refreshing. The almond croissant was nothing special though, kind of tasted like it had been sitting there for a while so I don't recommend it. Probably stick with the bingsu and drinks.“

“Came down for the night with friends and found this amazing churro stand. Immediately was greeted kindly as if we were friends.
The churros ARE INSANELY GOOD! Not to doughy, not hard and they were still soft the next day after being in the box, on the table all night.

The presentation was impressive. The churros were not over cooked or greasy. The oil the churros were cooked in was not old. The sugar and cinnamon were quality.

Not enough going things to say about this experience except Ncal needs this churro experience locally and WE ARE DEFINITELY COMING BACK!“

The snow has perfect, light texture with creamy milk flavor with mango chunks underneath and capped with a generous scoop of their mango ice cream. This is large enough to share among 4 people. Seats and tables are limited so during busy times you will have to wait to be seated. Servers are friendly and helpful. Sample their ice cream when you order; the flavors are unique!“

I love this place! They offer 100 percent gluten free rice flour crepes! The ambiance is soo cute! Very small good for to go, there’s one table and a bench! I love crepes options! Service is fast and I was able to see how they make it soo cool!

The matcha and strawberry were sooo good! The mochi is soo soft and chewy so delicious with matcha and strawberry ice cream! The crepes are my favorite, I love how you can eat it without feeling guilty because it’s gluten free! It’s super delicious, fruits are fresh. I will definitely comeback here and try their other menu! My go to dessert place in Torrance for sure 👍“
