“I originally went next door to the pita to go place and after standing inside the dark restaurant for 7 minutes a rude guy came out and was so rude I wasn’t going to spend my hard earned money inside this establishment so I went next door to wasabi n roll “sushi “ and I’m so glad I did… I ordered the bento #1 beef and it was soooo amazing and what was even more amazing was the customer service and the cleanliness of this establishment. I’m actually back again for the 2nd time this week lol“

“This Waba Grill is the coolest location ever !!Right off the 605 fwy and adjacent to the bike trail, and they have ranch dressing to dip your Salmon into. Ha!Diamond in the most unexpected location!Staff, are awesome!!!I will be back!!Only problem was the restroom door has a lock that can fool some people getting out of the restroom. “Reasonably priced, good portions. I had the 10pc sushi roll plate, and upgraded to steamed veggies, but they came litly steamed, closer to raw than cooked. Edamame was good (hard to not make that peoperly).

My friend had the bento box w/chicken teriyaki. Salad dressing comes in 1oz to go containers, despite us dining in restaurant.

Atmosphere clean but hotel-room boring (I'm in my 50's).“

“Location: Diamond Bar Blvd, inside a quiet strip mall plaza (plenty of parking). South of Temple Ave and North of the 60 freeway off of diamond bar blvd exit.

Seating: Around 8-9 tables, good for small groups or solo diners.

‍ Service: Only one staff member working when I went, but she was friendly and attentive.

Hotpot Style: a little different from the other solo pot restaurant. Each person gets their own pot. You choose your meats & ingredients, then cook them yourself--no overcooked food, no broth boiling over. I liked this style a lot.

Overall: Chill weekday vibe, quiet atmosphere ( not sure if its a slow time or the area is naturally quiet) , and a solid 3.5-4 experience. Great spot if you enjoy solo hotpot without the rush.“

I decided to walk down to rodeo 72 to see what food was available to fuel my body and then I saw your establishment. I was already familiar with Hawaiian food before but this seemed different it was like a remix. I saw something that look like spam musubi so I ordered it. I ordered the spam musubi creme brulee and I thought it was good it was different the sweetness from the creme brûlé give it a little crunch it had a nice smokey taste and the sauce bring it all together I thought it was amazing. And bonus points because my partner tried some and they actually really liked it Even though they're not fond of spam.And the community felt nice with all the rodeo 72 small businesses for all together I enjoyed my time.“

The potato noodles is very tasty. I will say the best one in LA. If you want to add more protein to the soup that’s good. It is also good for the original recipe. I absolutely love the numbing, peppery flavor of Sichuan pepper in potato noodles.“

“It couldve been because I was early, dining in and the broth didn't develop a bitter after taste from over cooking, but it's been awhile since I've had good ramen. The champion ramen had a good mixture of wet and dry flavors. Chashu + seaweed had a subtle fish dry taste vibe which is new. Noodles were chewy and not clumpy mouth feel. Broth and ground pork were rich but not overly. Overall taste + texture was superb and especially warming during the winter. Also the waiter Rick is such a homeboy and service is amazing.

Last time I liked having ramen was when I was running around in an orange jumper. Hope the guys and gals stay in business.“

Ordered a breakfast burrito with birria and it was amazing. The chips that came with it was nice, the salsa was tasty and spicy, and the burrito was packed.

The first time I tried their Pho with flank and brisket. It was good, but I always prefer something that hits a little bit more.

“I started going to this Waba Grill pretty recently when passing through the area, and I gotta say, it's my favorite one to go to! By far the cleanest one, my food is served quickly with the correct portions, and all in all I could tell people work efficiently around here. The last few times I went, I was served by Jaime and Alex; I've had different vibes from different workers across different locations, but I feel I get the best vibes when coming here and when I've been served by these two! 5/5 would recommend pulling up if you're in the area.“

“I love this place, the family is so incredibly nice.
I usually get a #5 beef/chicken combo, extra veg, teriyaki and curry sauce on the side. It's a lot of food so I try my best to eat half for 2 lunches. Their ice tea is good, most places tend to have a dish rag taste.ive been going there for over 30yrs and it's always the same delicious quality. Unlike fast food chains that charge more and more with quality dropping every year.

“This place is a gem for its beef noodle soup, cold noodles, and the squid side dish. The food is simply amazing! However, the issue is the limited operating hours. The last time I visited at 2:30 PM, they were hesitant but eventually allowed me to dine. Unfortunately, during my recent visit at 2 PM, they were completely out of beef noodle soup and many other items, leading to an early closure. The friendly lady was nice to still let me order the dan dan noodle that had to be cooked and the cold noodles that were readily available. Ended buying a bunch of side dishes too to eat in the parking lot.“

This time, I ordered dishes like the chili oil wontons, sweet and sour ribs, and eggplant with basil. The eggplant was tender with plenty of basil and was delicious with the rice, especially because the dish was on the oilier side (as classic eggplant dishes are). Wontons were pretty standard, slightly spicy. My favorite was the sweet and sour ribs—the breading was just thick enough for the hint of crunchy texture, and balance of sweet and sour was well done. The portion was reasonable for the price. Looking forward to being back.“
