“Me, my husband and my service dog went to order two pizzas at 8:50 pm on 10/29/2025 and the young man that helped us was polite and friendly. We're from of town and our experience was a great one. Our pizzas were delicious and the prices were good. We'll be returning to this establishment on our next trip. Thank you.“

“Had such a great dinner tonight at Mediterraneo in Alpine! We started with a few appetizers and honestly...they were the highlight. The MELENZANE RIPIENE (eggplant stuffed with ricotta, parmesan, and cherry tomatoes) was incredible: rich, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The calamari fritti was crispy and delicious, and the TONNO ASIATICO (seared ahi tuna with sweet chili glaze, ginger, teriyaki, and wasabi) was a huge hit at the table. We also had to try their house-made mozzarella sticks, don't skip these...the cheese pull alone is worth it For the mains, we had the CAPELLINI ALLA CHECCA and the RIGATONI ALLA NORMA, and both were fantastic. You can really taste the difference, the pasta is imported from Italy, and it shows in the texture and flavor. My husband also ordered the margherita pizza and said it's the best he's ever had, which says a lot! The space itself is big, welcoming, and super versatile. There's plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, plus a large bar with a full menu. We tried a couple drinks from their spring menu: the pistachio espresso martini and the berry margarita both were so fun and tasty. The staff was also incredibly friendly and attentive, which really made the whole experience even better. Bonus: they have a great family-friendly area with arcade games and a pool table, which makes it perfect whether you're going out as a couple or with a group. Definitely a spot we'll be coming back to!“

“We have been coming to Di Leone’s and it is hands down one of the best Italian restaurants in town. Their food is authentic and delicious. The service is always great. You can catch the owners and their family there all the time. Great place for dinner with the family. We go all the time and it never disappoints.“

“Had dinner tonight on the patio with some old friends. I remember eating at the original Pernicano's on 5th st in Hillcrest in the 70s & 80s, when Chargers minority owner George P. owned it. The pizza was as delicious as I remember it from my youth and the service by Hillary was top notch!“

“IDEN WAS GREAT!
My husband and I rolled into Olive Garden on a Friday night with what can only be described as hungry eyes and zero self-control. Luckily, we had Iden as our server. Not only was he on top of every refill, he also kept us laughing the entire time. The guy is kind, sharp, and effortlessly funny. You can just tell he's one of the good ones, out here working his way through college. Iden set the bar ridiculously high and went the extra mile to make our meal extra special.
Thanks for the entertainment, great service and the good laughs. We'll be back sooner than eight years!

“Testo Pepesto Italian Restaurant is centrally located on Main Street in downtown El Cajon. It is a great family-owned restaurant with delicious food and friendly service. Best pizza and pasta in El Cajon! They also bake their own tasty bread. Everything is absolutely YUMMY!!!“

“Went here probably 8x, mostly made the same order and it came out different each time. If a menu says the pizza toppings, you'd expect those toppings or get told if something was out. Nope 1x we literally had a single sliver of green pepper and 2 slivers of onion.... 2x there were no veggies at all. 1x asked for no mushrooms and they put extra. I even showed the owner pictures of the previous pizzas and pictures of the receipts, he said he would fix it. The next visit was the correct pizza and decent portion of chicken. The following visits were back to the same missing veggies and such.🤷🏼♂️ The consistency here is just horrible. Some times the pizza is cooked perfectly and others it is soggy and cold in the middle. As for the Fettuccine Alfredo with chicken, it often has a very very small portion of chicken. 1x it was what I felt a decent portion. If they were more consistently good we'd be back probably weekly. I would say 6 of the 8x we had issues. I don't like sending food back, but also want what I pat for. Some staff are very friendly and do an excellent job, checking in just enough. However some employees seem they hate their job and we have to ask 2 to 3x for more water or ranch. I was excited to have found a new place, but sadly the overall quality is just a coin flip. For the price it isn't worth the hassle. And our visits have never been during a busy time. I won't accept anything to return, I have it enough chances. Also don't believe their 5 star reviews as they offer you a free desert in exchange for a 5 star review.“

“Our waiter was amazing and provided excellent service throughout our visit. However, our experience with the host staff was disappointing. The hostesses were unprofessional and unwelcoming when seating us, and it was clear that walking us to our table was an inconvenience.
As we were leaving, we thanked them, but one hostess simply stared at us and rolled her eyes instead of acknowledging us or thanking us for coming in.
If it weren’t for our waiter’s outstanding service, I would not consider returning.“

“The Italian jewel in Jamul. They were extremely busy with several large parties, so the service suffered some.
We went back recently near closing to order take-out. But they were absolutely delighted to seat us. The pasta dishes we had were absolutely amazing, as well as the service. This has become restaurant we look forward to going to often.“
