“Best pies in CA. We are proud to support this business”
“While the food is pretty awful here, the view is stunning, and on par with the Alps. The tragedy is that the food is pretty bad. Imagine if this was Europe and they actually had good food. It might be a destination restaurant.”

“Drove by the place and they were not open yet. Sign up saying closed for construction. Tried calling in an order and only got a message giving hours and explaining the construction. Drove by looking for another place to eat and saw people in there. Went in and the guy in front of me couldn't pay for his pizza cause their register wasn't working with cards. I paid cash and ordered the Margherita and a sausage and olive pizza. Totally glad I stuck it out. The pizza was gas! They cook it in a brick oven and the ingredients were fresh. Definitely give it a try. It's worth dealing with the downfalls.”
“ITs the way skiing should be, great people great service great product......it is what Mammoth was 30 years ago.....love this place”
“Their fries are delicious! Crispy and big. They have a lot of free options on dipping sauces. Tip grab some Parmesan cheese packets and chili flakes and throw it on the fries so good!”

“Excellent service. Excellent food. THIS is the place to eat in the loop!”
“Best brewery in June Lake (not sure there are any others), but still the honors are there and worth a visit if you are visiting the Mammoth Mountain area. We stopped here after a fall hike and were not disappointed. I have had their beer and thought it was pretty good, so worth coming to the tap room to try out some others. They have some flavorful IPAs with fun names (Dipsh!t Dragon or Ninja Turtle. Hockey Fight and Juiced Marmont were once I tried off mountain). They have inside and outside patio seating and normally have a food truck cooking up something good. Parking can be difficult but don't give up, it's worth it”
“Me, my brother in law, and his son got stuck here after finding out the YART bus was 12 hour in advance registration at this location. We explained our situation to the very nice young lady at the counter our situation, about trying to get back to our car in Tuolumne Meadows, and pick up a sick family member in Silver Lake. Not only did she help us out with our predicament, she call the owner of the gas station, who then came and drove us to Lee Vining in his car. We offered payment, but it was refused. I know I cannot make anyone do anything, but if you are driving through the area, please stop in and support these very kind people. It was a true blessing to see not only to meet kind folk, but ones that truly believe in community. From the bottom of my heart, thank you!”

“This wasn’t our first choice, but boy, am I glad the other places were closed during the curb seasons. We had the daily special, BLT on Rye with shaved turkey. We shared the sandwich and upgraded to onion rings. Do not miss their onion rings!! They are in the top 10% of best onion rings I’ve ever had. The mammoth pail ale was good as well.”

“We went to Harmony Brazilian Steakhouse & Bar for dinner, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming from the moment we walked in. The food and service were excellent, and the authentic Brazilian flavors were tasty—except for the pork. The fish, however, had a noticeably strong fishy smell, so I’d recommend skipping that dish. If you’re a health-conscious eater, read the menu carefully: most plates come with a large portion of mashed potatoes and no green vegetables. Also, when you check out, review the bill closely to make sure all prices and charges are correct.”

“A great local coffee shop. They have a lot of different flavors for signature lattes and seasonal lattes. Their breakfast burritos are really good too! I love stopping by in the morning for a latte and burrito. The line can be long in the morning, but you can order online ahead of time for pickup to avoid waiting in line.”

“I went for dinner on a Monday night, and it was very quiet. The service was great. The food was tasty, and the pricing was pretty good for Mammoth. I had the Cobb Salad and my son had the Shrimp Scampi. Both of us enjoyed it, and would definitely return.”

“We come here every time we are in Mammoth. There is usually a wait, but we do it. We'll wait an hour if needed for a norishing bowl of pho. I usually get the chicken, large and share it with my husband. My son goes for rare steak pho and a boba. Staff are super friendly and find the time to make a joke or stop by the table to check on you. Love them!”

“I'm so happy there is this second location in Mammoth! I already love the Big Bear Cafe Crepe, and two is better than one 😃 The complete (egg, cheese...and you can even add spinach and garlic spread) is my favorite. Make sure you check em out if you're in Mammoth or Big Bear Lake!”

“The Mill is our go-to for a midday break from the slopes. The bartenders here are fantastic – friendly, attentive, and always make us feel welcome.
The pulled pork and tri-tip sandwich is absolutely delicious. Perfectly seasoned, tender, and just what you need to refuel before heading back out. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, making it the ideal spot to recharge.
We stop here every time we're at Mammoth, and it never disappoints. Highly recommend!”

“Stopping by McCoy station is must for us on a skiing day. Spacious dining area and friendly service.
I recommend soups, it's not expensive (comparing to $17 Pizza), and you got free bread.
It's easy to access everywhere from McCoy station.”

“Hi - I travelled all over California, from Australia. Black Velvet Coffee made us HANDS DOWN the best cup of coffee in the state. The staff were friendly, the venue is Excellent - MAN - I can't wait to get back to Mammoth to have another coffee :) note: most Australians drink Espresso - and these guys KNEW how to properly prepare espresso and frothed milk drinks. THANK GOD for this shop! Y'all rock!”
“The sandwiches are excellent and the employees have always been chill and welcoming. The chili at Main Lodge is better, fwiw. Heads up that they play the music pretty loud, if you're sensitive to that.”
