“I have been wanting to try Half Day Cafe for quite some time. I had brunch around the Holiday's with a dear friend. The food was delicious. I had an oat milk latte and the breakfast panini with hash browns. The sandwich has eggs, spinach, ham and cheese. The ingredients are simple, but the flavor combination was excellent. Plus I love panini sandwiches. One thing I want to mention is it is extremely loud when it's busy. I came on a Sunday and it was a full house. I could barely hear my friend. She also has hearing issues so it was difficult to hear each other. Besides parking on the street there is a parking lot behind the restaurant. The entrance is a little confusing since it's in the back.“

“I live in Sausalito incase anyone thinks I’m a regular and I’m trying to plug a friend’s place or whatever. This is the best breakfast in Marin. Food is so fresh and the staff are exceptional. I work in the service industry and don’t usually leave reviews. Really evident team culture and refreshing attitudes all round. Well done to all!“

“Went for a morning drive to Sausalito from San Francisco. I hadn’t been to this town in ages & wanted to revisit this charming town. I googled places for breakfast & Fred’s looked promising so we headed there. There’s a small shared parking lot next to the cafe & plenty of street parking. It’s a small cafe with some outdoor seating & it was pretty busy on Saturday morning. We were seated at a large shared table with two other people. They didn’t mind & neither did we. Extensive menu- I’d read the most popular items are the lemon ricotta pancakes, egg plate with sweet bacon, deep fried French toast & the Swedish, but looking at fellow customers plates who’d ordered some of the dishes, I decided I could not eat such large portions! I went for the single berry waffle & my husband ordered the veggie omelette. The waffle was delicious; only wish the syrup they served was realMaple syrup. I don’t eat the fake stuff so I skipped it. The omelette was very nice & came with toast & hash browns. We had ordered cappuccino & laughed when we saw the size of the “cup” - almost like a mini bathtub! I’m fussy about my coffee & this one just ok.Overall, a nice little place to enjoy breakfast before walking down to the marina & town center.“

TuTu Lounge Breakfast • $$

“We loved this place! Decided to try something different for breakfast - glad we did. I got the Spicy Tom Yum Omelet (comes with shrimp, I subbed avocado for the shrimp). It is one of the best breakfast dishes I have ever had. The sauce had a kick, but not too spicy at all. And the mushrooms, onion, tomato, and gruyere was absolutely delicious. What a lovely aftertaste. Hubby had the Marin Eggs Benedict with avo, roasted tomatoes, and pan seared tofu. He loved it, thought maybe there was lavender in the hollandaise sauce. We both had the homemade potatoes with our breakfast - probably the best potatoes we have ever had, creamy with a little spice (very little). Excellent. Very happy we ventured out this morning.“
