“We are BBQ folks. We smoke our own and have traveled the country trying different spots. There is so much that goes into BBQ. For those of us who truly love it; it's an art form and science of cuts, color, bark, brine -- the whole deal. We've experienced much of the local (Southern California) flavor and have found a few spots that excel. We moved up to Pasadena recently and were Yelping to see if there was a BBQ spot up here that we could try. When we came upon Mission I was skeptical. It didn't make sense that a BBQ spot would do catering and weekend farmer's market stuff. The only way to see if the reviews were legit was to give it a shot. We found the location at the farmer's market tucked away and because we were late in the day, had to pick from the meats that were left. Ribs, brisket, mac & cheese -- and the two sauces they stocked (mild & spicy). Our order was bundled and we brought it home and launched into the meal. Brisket -- soft, moist, flavorful. Brisket is not easy to cook. It can get dry and -- sometimes greasy from the fat. This was none of that. It was excellent -- some of the best ever. 5/5!!! Ribs -- very good. Solid. My personal perfect-preference is ribs that are just a touch less moist -- but we are talking the difference between 98/100 or 94/100. They were solid. Great flavor. Mac & Cheese. Excellent. Texture, color, flavor, taste -- all outstanding. 5/5!!! Sauce. We had a cup of each of their offerings: spicy and mild. Each had a lovely smokey flavor. The spicy had a nice kick without blowing the back out of your throat. Again -- this is a little nitpicky, but we find the perfect sauce to be a touch less sticky. We've had great first meals and horrible second meals at certain spots and horrible first meals and great second meals. We like to try the food several times before writing reviews so we ordered again for another experience. This time we added baked beans, burnt ends, and smoked chicken to the meal. Second time was exactly as great as the first time. Everything was solid, solid, solid. Now -- the thing that gives Mission six-stars is the folks behind the food. These people are dedicated to making a contribution to the world through food as few are. They are kind, generous, dedicated -- truly amazing!!!! Judith and her family are the kind of folks I want to invite over to have the food we just bought from them!!! Wonderful, wonderful people!! Thank you so much Mission!!!! We are dedicated fans and followers for as long as you make food!!!“

“I got married in April 2022 (after years of postponements!) and I can't rave enough about Gourmet A Go Go, Gail, and her amazing team. We had cold apps, passed apps, plated salad, buffet dinner, and an assortment of desserts - it all could not have been tastier or more beautifully arranged. On top of that, Gail was so easy to reach and such a nice person to work with. I highly recommend her for any catering needs you may have!“

Thought it was sketchy buying corn from a man in the middle of the night. Turned out to be a life changing experience. 5/7 Corn was as sweet as the dream I had that night. Would buy corn from sketchy man again.“

“This company has been so responsive since the very first time I emailed them to request a quote! I cannot tell you what peace of mind that gave me and planning my husband’s birthday party. They are so amazing! Benito arrived early and had the food ready at five minutes before the start time for dinner. He was amazing! He was friendly and greeted all the guests. At the end of the evening he carefully packed up all of the food that was left and brought it inside. All of my guests were super impressed with the food! (The Pastor and Carnitas were my personal favorites). All of the food was excellent and the ingredients tasted fresh. The meat they had was seriously the best meat that I’ve had from a taco stand in a long time. I went with the traditional five meats, and paid extra and got Carnitas and jumbo lime shrimp. The price was great and the quality was even better! I will definitely be using them again anytime I need a catering. This was for my husband‘s birthday party and we had about 45 guests and I had tons of food left over and everybody ate a lot at the party.“

The outdoor courtyard with it's hedge walls, elegant fountain, and gorgeous chandeliers created the perfect garden party atmosphere. We asked Betty if she'd be able to work with purple for our food/beverages to support our event's theme, and she went above and beyond! Everything was so innovative, fun and creative, and delicious! “I've been a regular here for decades. Always used to eat at the restaurant on Melrose Ave in Hollywood. It was always fantastic. Unfortunately this restaurant is closed. Then I went out to eat in Santa Monica. This location wasn't so great anymore. But the food still tasted good. This location in Larchmont is chic again. The food is still very good. The focaccia was sensational. I love the Rigatoni Bolognese with this. But the pizza is also very good!“

Their churro were so light & crispy with plenty dipping sauce choices. Our guests raved over this late night treat. “The service was VERY friendly. My server, and several others, greeted me with genuine smiles. Started with Warak Enab Dolma/Sarma (stuffed grape leaves), which were excellent. They are the non-vinegar type which I much prefer, firm with plenty of rich olive oil. Then the Sea Bass entrée. Two full filets traditionally seasoned, a large salad, and potatoes. The tomatoes are perfect! Beautiful tea service. Very quaint atmosphere, friendly staff with genuine smiles, everything well presented. Will definitely be back. “I found heirloom LA when they catered a function at my hospital. I was so impressed. I had them cater my 60th birthday just this past weekend and they are really wonderful to work with. They’re super friendly, help me a lot in the planning and the execution they connected me to the right people for doing the furniture for the party for servers and then the food was just completely completely amazing Euler menu great quality of food, vegetables, fruits. I did a full vegan menu and they were really, great about doing that with a really complex interesting menu with very taste and textures. I would definitely only use them for any future events that I do. I completely highly recommend them without reservation.

I highly recommend the pumpkin guacamole. The banana bread was gobbled up in three seconds and the juices were fantastic. This is not exclude every other item that I ordered that was fantastic fruit plate veggie plate vegan burritos make your own avocado toast was unbelievable. I could go on and on and on .“

My gf loves your food but she is severely allergic to tahini. And I always specify no tahini but you guys sometime put tahini (happened again). She wont eat so we need to throw it away“

“My wife and I hired Angelenos' WFP for a small reception (~30 guests) in South Bay. If it matters, we're originally from the east coast. Mike, Danny, Carmen, and the entire team were a pleasure to work with. The service and pizza were amazing. All our guests and neighbors loved it, sharing how great of an idea it was to hire Angelenos'. I've been having their pizza (leftovers) for lunch the past few days and it's still just as delicious. I'd highly recommend them for a party or gathering of any kind. They're communicative, on time, generous, and simply great people.“
