“If you’re chasing premium Korean BBQ in the heart of K-Town, this spot is one of the more elevated experiences in the neighborhood. 🇰🇷🔥 Jeong Yuk Jeom translates to “butcher shop” — and that’s exactly the vibe you get: hand-selected, dry-aged and wet-aged beef cuts cooked over charcoal that deliver rich flavor and juiciness worth savoring.
The restaurant’s interior is sleek and spacious, perfect for groups or date nights, with good ventilation so you don’t walk out smelling like a grill.
Upscale, flavorful, and memorable Korean BBQ in LA.
Would go again? Absolutely — especially for the dry-aged beef and unique dishes you don’t find everywhere. 🍷🥩“

“The best AYCE Korean bbq restaurant. Meat quality is top-notch. They grill the meat for you but still allow you to enjoy the food at your own speed. I tried almost every meat and my favorite is the marinated beef rib with bone. It melted in my mouth. I love it and will come back.👍🏻“

“Great kbbq place with fresh ingredients and a wide variety of side dishes. They don’t have AYCE here, only combinations — I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of food for the one we got. The kimchi fried rice was good, and the meats were all very fresh and tasted delicious with the accompanying sauces. The servers were also more involved in the meat grilling, even for those of us who had experience kbbq before. They also had fun robots around to bring out and take away dishes. We made reservations, which I’d recommend as it was pretty crowded when we went.“

“ordered the beef combo with prime rib and it did not disappoint. The meat was beautifully marbled, super tender, and full of flavor—cooked perfectly at the table. Great value for the quality, and it comes with all the classic sides. Service was quick and helpful. This place is a K-Town winner for serious meat cravings. Btw, Alvin was taking care of our table. He’s a very nice guy! Good food, good service. Will be back soon.“

“The food is soooo good!!!!
The pork belly is thick, juicy, and grilled perfectly by the staff, so you don’t have to cook anything yourself. Service is attentive and professional.
The side dishes are also a highlight — lots of variety, and everything we tried was solid. I love their eggs and soup!!! Not just the pork, the beef was surprisingly good and very juicy.
Overall, a great place for a casual dinner or group meal. Definitely worth checking out if you’re in K-town.“

“We loved everything about this place! We sat outside and were seated quickly on a Saturday with no reservations, we did get there right when they opened. Service was exceptional, staff was awesome and we will be visiting again!!“

“Homemade kimchi, homemade stews, unlimited banchan stations ala Sizzler style, warm and sincere and attentive service, big comfy booths, and headache-free to park at (it's in a strip mall!) and get to compared to the dense traffic of neighboring Koreatown. Apparently this is an original, history-making spot way ahead of its time. And people may come for the all you can eat KBBQ, but straight up I come for the AYCE banchan and Korean dishes that feel like I'm back at home with mom.“

“The place to go for delicious pork kbbq! I highly recommend the thick pork belly, marinated pork ribs, and the corn cheese. The pork marinade was flavorful and not as sweet as other kbbq places. They give a nice variety of side dishes which were really good with the pork belly.
The service was also top notch. Very attentive and friendly.“

“Didn't know they had more than one restaurant in the L.A. area. This is the second one we tried and it didn't disappoint, it was just as good as the first time and second times we visited the Koreatown location. The service, the food, everything is great.“

“Got seated around 16:50, wanted to get the Lunch special but I was worried since it was getting close to 5pm. However, the lady was really nice and let me get the lunch special so I was quite pleased. Great service! The food also tasted great and was of great quality. I would definitely recommend others to come dine here, especially during the weekday lunch special (11am-5pm).“

“Summary:
- When you get a lil twist in affordable Korean BBQ, this is what you get. Get the miso soup, it’s got a kick to it
Pro:
- Good value for the price
- Very big portion. I like they let you cut however you wanna cut it
- Super good + fast service. Dude’s fast as lightning
- Variety of side dish, and if you get second round side dish it’s a lot more too
- I like how they provide lots of onions and jalapeños
Con:
- parking lot environment is kinda scary during afternoon already
- Most meat is more on the sweeter tone, it can get a little bit much afterwards
- I’d say don’t get the intestine“

“Amazing food—especially the cold noodles and side dishes. Everything was super flavorful and satisfying.
Only downside: lots of mosquitos (got bitten a lot while eating), and the tip suggestion is based on the post-tax total, so double-check before paying.“

“Popped in because its always time for meat. Loved tge atmosphere, and the language lessons in the bathroom. The food was great. The only downside was lack of my favorite banchan and the high prices of solutions. I'll be back.

“Good kbbq spot. Inside is simple and clean with tables and booths for seating. The classic ayce menu is good.
Service was ok. Kinda slow but staff is friendly. There's a small parking lot in back or street parking but you might have to walk a block or two.“

“One of my favorite spots when I’m craving KBBQ! This place in K-Town is hands-down the best, in my opinion. The restaurant has a parking lot with plenty of spaces, honestly a must in LA.
The service is always excellent when I come here. We're seated right away, and the sides and meats come out super fast. I love that they provide a pitcher of water at the table, so I can refill my drink anytime.
The two servers were constantly checking on us to see if we needed more meat, napkins, sides, or anything else. With our choice of Menu C, they brought out the steamed egg and potato pancake automatically — like they were reading my mind before I even asked lol.
The sides are amazing. Whoever makes the kimchi here knows what they’re doing. The marinated shrimp come peeled and butterflied, which makes grilling and eating so much easier.
Overall, it was a great dining experience with high-quality food and service. I’ll definitely be back!“

“First time here. Everything was great service, food the bathroom 😍 the atmosphere is amazing and staff super friendly. I noticed that the hot pan was tilted but is because the juice is removed from the hot pan via a tiny hole. Amazing idea. 💡 i definitely want to come back again. The only thing I don’t like is the parking cost$3 dollars where it should be free.!!!“

“I’ve eaten many Dak Galbi restaurants in Korea and made it many times at home. Overall this store I would say is good but not amazing. It could benefit from a little stronger overall flavors. One of the only Dak Galbi restaurants I’ve seen in the US so I really enjoyed eating it here in LA.“
