“I recently dined at here at Luna Grill to try it for my first time.
What truly elevated the experience, though, was the outstanding service provided by Chris. He was attentive, knowledgeable about the menu, and genuinely enthusiastic about making sure we had a great time. Chris offered excellent recommendations (The flat cut chicken is amazing.) and handled a small request for a customization with ease and a smile. His friendly demeanor and professionalism made us feel welcomed and well taken care of from the moment we walked in.“

“I ordered from Uber Eats, and oh my goodness! Food was fresh, still hot. The steak was tender, well marinated and so delicious. Hummus and pita bread…yummy! They even thought out every detail, making sure utensils and a little baggie with garlic sauce, hot peppers, hot sauce and sumac seasoning was included. Definitely 10 out of 10, thank you! “Think of a quiet romantic dinner you and your sweetheart had. It's like that. There was a baby grand piano playing soft music in the background, and gazing into each other's eyes holding hands across the table. Now the good part. The food was classic Armenian Kbobs, rice, wonderful grilled meats and veggies, delicious hummus. The lamb lollipops were to die for. They don't serve alcohol so you can stop across the street and bring your own bottle of wine or beer. Give these folks a try and you will want to come back again and again.“

“Went here because I saw there were good reviews and there is a good reason. I tried the Tri Tip, Chicken shawarma and chicken breast. All three excellent. I'd say Trip Tip was the best of the three. Also, grabbed a baklava and it was one of the best I've had.“

“I'm at a loss for words, but I'll try my best. Food? Amazing! Perfect amount of seasoning and the portions are huge! And this is coming from a big dude. For the appetizers, my favorites were the Kashk E'bademjan (Eggplant Delight), Potato Salad, and the Hummus! They have more selections, but this is what I was able to try. I hear all are great! For the Entrees, ALL OF THEIR KABOBS ARE FIRE (MMM MMMM YUMMY). I had a sample of most them and in the islands, we would say "broke da mouf kine", which translates to, the food is *beep beep* GOOD! If you've never had Persian Food, or you love it, this is the restaurant for you! Drinks? I love Korean Soju and Cass beer, so yeah, +10 points from me. They do carry various Wines and Beers though...and of course your choice of Soda Pop. Atmosphere? It' gives you a Kewl Kids Vibe; a classy place where you can be yourself with family and friends and just enjoy each others company. You have your choice of Indoor and Outdoor dinning which is amazing. There's also a private room upstairs that can hold 20 people for a meal and karaoke (there is a fee to reserve, but very much worth it). Staff? We were greeted at the door as if we were coming home. Pasha and his staff go above and beyond to make sure all your needs are met. Their suggestions on meal and drink pairings are spot on. I can't thank Pasha and the crew for making our group outing a success. Overall? I'll be going back and I hope that you add this restaurant to your list of 'go to' places to dine at. You will not be disappointed, I promise you. (Unless your attitude stinks or you're not willing to try new food ‍) Pasha again, thank you so much for the hospitality. ordering the filet mignon kabob platter and chicken kabob platter and sharing it between two people is my favorite. choose two sides for each platter. ——I mean you gotta choose your favorite hummus (mine is the tomato habanero one), and don’t forget to choose the cauliflower for one of your sides!

and if you’re feeling bold and a little indulgent, order their shawarma nachos for the table!

“Ruby Restaurant and Venue was the perfect spot for my wife’s 30th birthday (Armenian/Mexican mix). Arvin helped us from beginning to end and truly went above and beyond. He was super responsive, genuinely cared about our event, and always stayed on top of our itinerary, helping out whenever he could. Plus the food was amazing according to our guests. Huge thank you for all the referrals and support it made everything run so smoothly. We will definitely be booking this venue again. One negative to note were the drinks: my latte was not satisfying - too small (~12oz.), not enough milk (too much foam for a latte) and per my request for extra steamed milk they offered two Coffeemate creamer pods - all while it set me back $10.40+tax; a 0.5 litter (16.9oz.) bottle of Pellegrino was $4.16+tax.“

“I've been coming to the spot for probably over 10 years and the experience overall has been solid. The owners are always really polite, the food is put together ridiculously fast, and the flavors are pretty familiar and flavorful as you would expect from Mediterranean food. I will say, that perhaps there's a little bit of shrinkflation because most restaurants, the portions just seem a little smaller. I think for this cafe, everything is pretty much the same with high quality hummus, tasty rice, fresh salad, but I think the meat portions are a little smaller than I remember a year ago. Also, this round, my lamb skewers were a bit overcooked and on the dry side. But, perhaps this is just an anomaly for this visit. I'm going to try again probably this month!“

“The service was VERY friendly. My server, and several others, greeted me with genuine smiles. Started with Warak Enab Dolma/Sarma (stuffed grape leaves), which were excellent. They are the non-vinegar type which I much prefer, firm with plenty of rich olive oil. Then the Sea Bass entrée. Two full filets traditionally seasoned, a large salad, and potatoes. The tomatoes are perfect! Beautiful tea service. Very quaint atmosphere, friendly staff with genuine smiles, everything well presented. Will definitely be back. “This review is for my experience with catering. Due to a mix-up at another restaurant, I had to make last-minute changes to catering plans for a small gathering I was hosting. A couple days before my event, I inquired whether Dune Atwater would be able to fulfill my order.

Leslie the catering director responded the next day and gave recommendations for the size of my event as well as dietary needs. I submitted the order as recommended and picked up the next day.

Food came out on time and they helped load my order into the car. Wow, I was very impressed with the packaging and presentation. Came with quality serving utensils, placards describing the food and ingredients/allergens. Vegetable platter was beautifully arranged with an incredible variety of pickled veggies, salads, and hummus.

Our guests were very impressed by the food presentation, and most importantly, everything was delicious. People who had never eaten at Dune were asking where we catered from. So glad things worked out and we would definitely cater with Dune again.“

I didn't know Shawarma House existed until today. The dine in place is nice and spacious, the service was kind, and for the first time in Tujunga that I know of, this a restaurant that didn't serve dry wraps with no garnishes.“
