We get these Walnut rolls in Albuquerque, New Mexico at the local specialty store and they are fantastic!!!I look forward to eating one of these every day in the afternoon and it makes my day !! “So excited and proud Sugarbird finally has a storefront. My family and I have followed Chef & Owner Kei since it first started and only had regular priority mail delivery and pickup from a co-op location in Downtown LA. I stopped by after the Montrose Farmers Market, where Sugarbird was before and I believe still is for other Farmers Markets, and Kei herself was managing the store. She was nice and really excited to finally have her own storefront. I got a free tea, free clotted cream, the tea sandwich set, six scones (ube, lemon blueberry, matcha, fig & rosemary, passionfruit & earl grey) and shortbread cookies.“

“We love Half Baked! We discovered it, ironically enough, just months before I was diagnosed with Celiac in 2016. Luckily, they have gluten free options a plenty. Of all the gluten free bakeries nearby, they were THE most affordable for wedding cakes. We collaborated with Natalie who was with us from day one. She is wonderful - so understanding and supportive. Half Baked's execution of our vision onto 3 elegant cakes was lovely and classy. The GF spice with cream cheese was the best - our very favorite! There were some unfortunate issues with the other two cakes, but Natalie assisted us thoughtfully and ultimately provided us with an ample solution. We have loved Half Baked since we discovered them. We highly recommend them for events or anytime, especially if you need delicious gluten free options that won't break the bank!“

“We needed a birthday cake on short notice, and thankfully, Patisserie Too had a 5” mango cake available. They also had a wide variety of personal size cakes in adorable animal themes (rabbit, dog, pig, penguin, and Hello Kitty). Our party really enjoyed the mango cake - it was the perfect sweetness level and full of flavor. Sweet enough to taste like a dessert but not overwhelmingly sugary. I was pleasantly surprised to find a slice of mango inside the cake. The mango texture was a fun contrast to its soft cake-y surroundings. The entire cake sat on top of a cookie base (shortbread cookie?), and the crunchiness of the cookie also enhanced the range of textures in this dessert!

The cakes were also well packaged. They taped down the personal size cakes we bought so that they wouldn’t slide around inside the box. This attention to detail and their friendly and helpful service overall made this a really pleasant shopping experience!“

Donuts are super light and airy, they do not live you feeling super full and they are also not super sweet. Prices are also very reasonable.
We tried the breakfast sandwiches as well which and they were super delicious and filling. If you are hungry hungry I would recommend you get one.
The thai teas are nice too, I really liked the orange one.
Staff is also super friendly and will tell you about all their menu items as well as make recommendations.

The tahini bread, however, was very good. It is very cheap so I can see why the quality compared to the price gives this place high ratings.“

“Every time I’m in LA/Eagle Rock, I have to stop by here. The donuts are sooo good, creative flavors, and fresh. I buy a dozen or 2 and trail my butt back to OC and my family is so excited. Although, my daughter’s instructions was to include red melted chocolate on this rustic/vintage themed cake but they did NOT. “This is by far the worst breakfast experiences I have ever had. If I could put zero stars I would. We put our order for scrambled eggs and eggs Benedict. Waited an hour and a half, finally went in to see what was going on and our order was never made. (Computer mistake) which I understood so then I asked to have our order to go. We waited and our food wasn’t put in to go containers. So we ate our food and they messed up scrambled eggs. They were inedible. Overall just terrible. They had such high reviews it was very upsetting.“

“This restaurant is MOSTLY VEGAN. A few items do have egg or dairy milk, but they are easily swapped for plant based options. This place uses fresh ingredients and makes creative dishes. I wish my tummy was big enough to eat one of everything! I got the chilaquiles and a "dirty"chai latte (dirty means it has an extra espresso shot).
