“I just had lunch with my two daughters, ages 12 and 15. It was our first time here.

We ordered three plates: two 3-birria taco combo plates and one order of vampire tacos with chorizo. We tried all the sauces that came with them, along with a 24-ounce horchata.

My girls and I are usually pretty loud. We talk. We’re animated. We gush over the food.

But when we ate these tacos, we ate in silence because the food was that good. To speak would have taken us out of the moment. So we said nothing. We just sat there, lost in our own thoughts, luxuriating in tender meats, spicy red sauce, and complex flavors.

This is how you get tweens to enjoy family time: really good tacos.

And guess who told me about this place? The 12-year-old. Apparently, it’s trending. I recommend it too.“

“Tacos and Kabobs has become one of my favorite places for carryout. The staff is always genuinely friendly and welcoming, and the food is consistently fresh, flavorful, and delicious. You can tell they take pride in what they serve.

One thing I really appreciate is how hard they try to accommodate any changes or dietary requests you may have. They listen, they care, and they do their best to make sure your order is exactly the way you want it.

I usually get my food to go, but they also have a clean, well-lit dining room with TVs if you want to sit down and enjoy your meal there. Good food, good people, and the kind of neighborhood place you’re happy to support.

So helpful with recommendations when asked, provides great detail, and is so enthusiastic about the incredible menu. Tocaya at 2nd & PCH has lovely, fresh, bright, clean food. The menu is unique and flexible. You get to choose the protein you want, the cheese you want, whether or not you want your dish to be vegan. So many options and super tasty food! My friend really enjoyed the VEGAN Asada & VEGAN Tinga tacos. I loved my Taco Salad with gluten-free, battered & fried mahi-mahi (that was so, so scrumptious) with Queso Fresco. I swapped and got the cilantro lime dressing (instead of the roasted poblano dressing) and my bowl of goodies was delicious. We shared and relished the Street Corn and the (VEGAN) Queso & Chips. We were both shocked to find the Queso was VEGAN; it’s that good! We also tried the vegan Crema, just to check it out — SO yummy. AND the obviously homemade chips were mouthwatering. “I've been to many burger spots in my life, but I've never had a burger as good as the Chef Burger from Burger Bun. I'm talking perfectly seasoned beef, and delicious (but not overpowering) burger sauce, crisp vegetables, and the brioche bun is spectacular. There's no burger in Glendale that even comes close. The wings are also some of the best I've ever had and the homemade sauces are so, so tasty. The fries are perfect, and they have amazing milkshakes too. To top it all off, the service is ridiculously good, and the prices are fair. This is my go-to spot in town.“

“I'd like to share my experience at Encanto restaurant. The warm, welcoming atmosphere with soft lighting and pleasant music makes you want to stay, relax, and enjoy a good conversation. I came with my wife and child - we were greeted politely and seated exactly where we felt most comfortable. I started with the signature Margarita: perfect in presentation and flavor balance - it immediately set a great mood. Next, I ordered the ceviche set. The first two (Cona Konpachi and Aguachile) were truly outstanding - a symphony of flavors with perfectly balanced ingredients that complemented each other beautifully. The other two ceviches in the set, however, felt unbalanced - the dominant note was excessive acidity. For mains, I had the grilled fish - served on a sizzling hot pan, with a deep charred aroma and a well-judged marinade. Excellent. The steak, unfortunately, disappointed: first it was overcooked, then undercooked. But a special thank you to our server, Kristi - she was attentive and professional, and she turned my overall experience back into a very positive one. I highly recommend Encanto for its ambiance and service. As for the food - some dishes are fantastic, others still need fine-tuning.
