“I love this place! Everyone is so friendly and knows my name. It's always clean. The food is so tasty and I can get my meal and dessert before I leave. I would recommend, especially as a mom from a healthy and efficiency point of view. One stop shop! I can't wait to get 2 scoops of Reese's and snickers ice cream before I leave.“
“First time at this location and a bit apprehensive after the reviews. I was a walk in and got served right away. Ordered the Italian and when wifey saw them slice the first meat and put the meat away thought the sandwich skimpy. Then they added the other 4 meats and then all the extras. Not her cup of tea but a half sandwich was 2 meals for me. Much better than subway but also more pricey. Depends on your budget and what you want.“
“If you're expecting Watson and Dietz, or boars head deli service, you're going to be disappointed. But if you want a nice cold cut sandwich made quickly and for a reasonable price, this is a fantastic place to grab a quick bite to eat. My go to sandwich here is a foot-long veggie sandwich on wheat bread, so take my review with a grain of salt. Often times, subways in my town (la cañada) close early which can be irritating but it's not consistent enough to call out anyone's specific location. I would probably call ahead of time if you're going later in the evening. I prefer to order in the store instead of ordering online because they will adhere strictly to the count-out-six-olives rule when you order online.“
“This "Angels Bowl" (essentially a deconstructed hot chicken sandwich with bread swapped for crinkle fries) was everything I had hoped it would be. As a transplant who regularly grumbles at the cost-to-quality/portion size ratio of Hollywood restaurants, I feel this was good value. 2nd highest spice level was enough to get this Midwest-Polish boy sweating, but happy-sweating. Friendly staff. I'll be back.“
“This is one of situations where I "found" this place again after many years. Used to come her back in the 80s when I worked in this area. Almost weekly. Great big menu, lots of great sandwiches, soup, chili and even dessert. Meatless sandwich options too. Ordered the Tomato Bisque Soup, an amazing Turkey Avocado on focaccia and a Pastrami Sandwich, on rye made the traditional way. No pickles. Great little shop, family owned. When he described his father I knew that was the man I used to order from back in the day. Walls show plaques and pictures showing their contributions to the community such as sponsoring many baseball teams and a proud sponsor of dozens of Rose Bowl Parade floats. A grade, clean, plenty of seating but for the most part I think people get it to go. Still can't believe it's been here for this long and I was here 40 yrs ago. . Yelp hours are incorrect, better call and see. Also closed Sunday and Monday now. Prices were very cheap, however the owner stated the menu is changing soon. Seems like this is the last place to raise their prices like everyone else's. Def worth a visit. When back the next day and got a Tuna Melt which was also good. Best around. Nostalgia helps“
“This place is like a wayyyyy better Panera with delicious sandwiches and salads. Also a lot of veggie options and customization in the app. This will become a fairly regular place for us after recent visits. The tofu banh mi is awesome and the salads have so much great tasting and healthy stuff in them. The Japanese chili dressing should be bottled! Definitely try this spot out.“
“Great location, prices are higher than other locations. But I am not surprised since this one is in Hollywood. Food was hot and fresh. I fell in love with cheba hut when I lived in New Mexico for a while. Moved to the Bay Area and realized there was none near by. Took a little weekend trip to LA and discovered this location and was very happy. Service was great too, staff were so kind. They even brought out an extra tuna melt they made and offered it to my table which was so sweet. I will definitely be stopping by when I come to LA again!“
“One of the best kept secrets of the neighborhood. The flavors are incredible, the quality of the ingredients unmatched. The hash browns in the morning are the best I’ve had. The bagels on the breakfast sandwiches are fresh and good but the buttermilk biscuits are perfection (and I’m from the south). The chicken parm sandwich is delish.“

“This subway location is fairly consistent across the board, ingredients are fine, bread tastes good, service differs by employee but overall great! One thing I noticed is that the portion scooped onto our sandwich are fairly less in quantity, so ask for a little extra because asking is better than regretting! Overall, a great location since it opened, and continues to a great place for local comfort food!“
