“I celebrated my 60th birthday few weeks ago and I can’t recommended it enough. Great location, beautiful inside, outside area is very clean, plenty of parking and very private. The food was great and believe me you will not be disappointed. The staff was very nice and easy to work with in particular the two ladies that worked with me and help me to put together my party in a short period of time, Roberta and Sandra….Roberta in particular has a good sense when it comes to ideas to decorate… you just need to tell her what theme you want for your party and she make sure that everything goes accordingly to your taste. She listened and within your ideas and her inputs I can guarantee you that everything will come out BEAUTIFUL. My theme was “Havana Night “ and everything came out better than I expected…So if you look for a place to have fun and created memories that will last forever, I would highly recommended this place !!“

“I was looking for a good taco place and I came across Covyd Tacos on Yelp and decided to try them. Unaware that they were just serving on tables under a shade during the evenings, I gave them a try and ordered asada and cabeza burritos. I became a regular after that night and they practically knew me by name. Their burritos are very delicious and their servings are generous. They also had quesadillas, and a variety of tacos. They also have Al Pastor which is really tasty. They do not accept credit cards but they accept Venmo payments. I now miss their tacos and burritos since I was only in La Puente for 5 weeks but would be their customer again if I go back to La Puente, California again.“

“Once we booked with the Nixon Library, we were given a choice of 2 caterers that we could use. I was a bit worried when I found this out, as I wasn’t sure I wanted to be boxed in with specific vendors. White House catering was by far our favorite choice. Katie was a dream to work with. She answered all of my questions, helped me plan out “Operation Keep Grandma Nice”, and was just a great person to be able to work with. The staff on the day of were fabulous too. The server for our sweetheart table was the sweetest - constantly kept checking in on us to make sure we didn’t need anything, and was always nearby in case we did. They are definitely a well oiled machine, and everything ran extremely well. It is clear that they have this very fine tuned! Thank you again for everything and making sure all of our guests were taken care of and well fed! :)“

“Summit will not disappoint!!! I hired Summit for my black tie wedding in Palm Springs. We drove to Orange county for a tasting and we knew they were the company for us right away. The food was delicious and the staff was warm, friendly, and organized! Pam, our event coordinator, was awesome! She was always available for a quick phone call for questions. She even drove out to Palm Springs to check out the venue before our big day to make sure everything went smoothly. SO many of our guests talked about how much they loved the food! Presentation was lovely and price was very reasonable. Everything went perfectly as planned. I would 1000% recommend Summit.“

I travel a ton, and whenever I’m back in town, this is always the first place I want to stop. The second I walk through the door, it feels like home. ❤

“Kojin hibachi help us organized the 95th birthday of my mom. Tiffany help me from the start to the end. From cancelling some guests who cannot come, changing our time to the last minutes and answering some questions concerning about the party.
The team who came are very accommodating and so nice asking how the tables will be arranged . Our chef Jimmy and his assistant Eric cooks our food so good and so entertaining to our family and they enjoyed it. I will recommend them to my friends and family. Again thank you.

“The 3 of us came here for lunch. We always order the Honey Walnut Shrimp Burger which is delicious (5/5). The Taro Sweet Milk is good (4/5) and the Black Sesame Matcha is just average (3/5). It could get busy during lunch rush hour, kitty might take 10-15 minutes you wait for your burger, although the drinks are much faster. The ambiance is airy with high ceiling, the Chinese decor is quite interesting.“

“We went to Mama's Night Market in Los Angeles, an event on Saturday, May 27th from 6 pm to 1 am. Satay LA was one of the placed we were fortunate to try. The skewers are made with love, the rice was fluffy. We got the skewer sampler, which came with 3 chicken skewers and 3 tofu skewers and rice. It was good. The tofu was tender, beautifully marinated, and the chicken was juicy. Their Instagram handle is Satay_LA. They're active on yelp as well.“
