“My husband and I went to la habra Ihop instead of the one closest to our house in la mirada. The manager Arturo from the La mirada Ihop is now working in the La Habra Ihop. We missed him and there is such a difference in food and customer service there. Since Arturo left, La mirada is not the same. Bad customer service and food isn't as tasty in La mirada. We finally found our Ihop to be happy.“

“So am not from this area but I do come this way to pick up something Around here and I love tempura from the outside doesn’t look like much is a nice small place once inside they have a medium amount of choices the price is not that bad I love the veggie tempura and the California rolls, but they do carry other stuff including macaroon ice cream! I’ve gone 3 times now in a month and so far the taste remains the same except yesterday I felt that they didn’t give me the usual amount of veggies but overall the food is good and not pricey!I also noticed sketches on the wall and a folder on the counter am assuming those are from a local artist I believe you can purchase them!“

And yeah, I’m glad I did. I went with the Chicken Club and a side of their house potato salad. Sandwich ran me $11.95 and it’s a solid deal. Big, hearty, fully loaded, big pieces of grilled chicken, bacon, fresh produce, all packed into toasted bread that didn’t fall apart halfway through. They offered their secret sauce on the side (free), and I gave it a go. It’s more sweet and tangy than salty—interesting but not essential. The potato salad? Flavor’s fine, but it was colder than necessary. Like, “is this thing still defrosting?” kind of cold. I ended up letting it sit for a bit before really digging in. Not a dealbreaker, just maybe chill your beer, not your side dish, you know?
And speaking of beer, yes, they’ve got a full draft beer counter with a bunch of taps. Great if you’re coming to hang out or just want something to go with your sandwich. I also noticed they’ve got some legit-looking salads, too. Not just lettuce and regret—actual good, full-meal salads that I’ll probably come back to try. TLDR: The portion is HUGE, the taste is bland and mediocre but the price point is great!

What we order:

- 2 items: white rice, bbq pork rib, and string beans chicken.

the rice is a little dry, the bbq pork is mostly breading and sauce. the flavor is sweet and slight tangy. the chicken in the string bean is FIRE, juicy and saucy! the string bean itself is okay, nothing special. they gave so much string bean compared to the meat ratio. the egg drop soup is okay. 3/5

pro tip; the hot and sour soup has a slight kick (white pepper is slightly more spicier than black pepper!) so I'd recommend the soup to add to your slightly bland meal!! 5/5

Service & Atmosphere:

- Service: you can clearly tell they love what they do and have been in this business proudly gor a long time. They're friendly and inviting! They give you big scoops!

- Atmosphere: there's seating inside. the soda machine doesn't work but they do have cans drink by the check out! it's a cute little place.

Overall, if you're looking for food that gives you the bang for your bucks and a HUGE portion you can barely close the takeout container, this is it. however don't expect it to be a 5 ⭐️ or panda express flavors and you'll be fine! I'd recommend this place! :-)“

“My favorite place to eat and I highly recommend the American-sized portions of marinara sauce, Chicken Parmesan, meatball anything, and pizza! Fresh cheese, warm dough, and their Vegetarian pizza has all the good stuff you’d expect from a veggie pizza, plus cashews (a delightful addition). A wonderful experience awaits you at Lascari’s.
