The only complaint I have is I wish people with their laptops who sit at a 4 top table alone understood how selfish that is when this place is incredibly busy. I always thought cafes should have a time limit for people with laptops or a bar set up on the wall just for people with laptops. Drinks came out delicious. Suhai was so welcoming and had great recommendations. We got a mazapan latte and wicked (ube matcha). Both delicious and not too sweet.

“As far as coffee shops go, this place is definitely on the right end of the spectrum. First of all, THANK YOU to whoever is responsible for selecting the music. With jazz playing at a very respectful volume, I was actually able to enjoy my experience without noise canceling headphones. The ambiance is wonderful, slightly old-timey with lots of owl-themed decor. The chai was delicious, but I wasn’t impressed by the iced banana bread latte, which was slightly bitter and a bit watery. The drinks are pretty pricey (I paid $16 for 2 smalls), but I can honestly overlook that because of the incredible customer service we received from the older gentleman at the register. There was also an employee with a mustache who I found was equally dedicated to excellent customer service—really appreciate this! Also, great corner location. Coffee shops like this are hard to find nowadays. I highly recommend!“

“The pandan coffee was delicious! Very smooth coffee which paired well with the sweet pandan flavor. I also got the double matcha (very strong, high quality matcha, and creamy) and loved it. “I came by on a hot day, and I was thirsty. The nice reviews from Yelp caught my eyes. I love the minimalist decoration in this coffee place. They are pet friendly as I saw pet owners bring their dogs in. I asked the barista for recommendation. The barista was very patient and knowledgeable about their coffee. She recommended the big island latte and collagen crush. The big island latter has macadamia nuts flavor to it. It reminds me about Hawaii. The name is the perfect match of this coffee. The collagen crush is a health choice. They also offered a big package for purchase that we can brew it ourselves at home.

Came by again in 2 weeks, and the coffee came o it as good as the first time! Great quality control! Will continue to stop by if I am in the area.“

Great and friendly service plus you can see how your coffee is made. The place is very nice, bright and with friendly vibe. They do have tables & bar seats that either look to the street or into the coffee bar. They do have coffee beans and other goods for sale. Plus they do other snacks & foods. “Coffee is really good! The turkish bagel (Simit) is THE best in California!!! We got a turkish breakfast plate, shakshuka, and the cheese omelette and everything was amazing. Great service and the owner is super cute :)

“Not one of my favorite place, but the coffee is good. I found another coffee place that’s so much better but the coffee was OK. Customer service was great but there’s no parking that’s the toughest challenge but overall I did give them a 5 Stars for the customer service.“

“One of my favorite matcha spots! It’s creamy and the matcha flavor really shines through, particularly with the double matcha latte. You can also adjust the sweetness and ice levels, which is appreciated.
Really nice vibes inside but can get crowded. Place is popular for its multiple matcha options including banana matcha (delicious, does not taste artificial at all) and black sesame. They also have Ube and pandan lattes.“

“It’s not really great for gluten free but that’s normal for coffee shops. I like the steamers: hot milk of your choice with a syrup of your choice. It was perfect to warm up with after a long day. The music plays softly in the background and you can have a conversation easily. They also use Joshua Tree Coffee which is a great coffee. Service was helpful and polite.“

“My roommate decided to try the coffee after hearing about it through a friend in CA (we are in RI). My roommate says it is by far one of the best coffees he has ever tasted. Very aromatic! Smooth and just, well, a must try! It was also ground well, packaging was great, delivery was on time. Website was easy to use. We'll be back for another shipment!“

“Absolutely amazing spot. I found it while traveling for a car event and Literally everything we got was amazing. We tried a bit of everything and there was a smoothie I tried, I can't remember the name, but it was espresso, PB, honey and banana and the whole family loved it.

The staff was very friendly and they were super nice to my kids. They even tried to help us find something we needed.

The ambiance was nice and the restaurant was very pretty and the music was nice.

We will be back if we ever come to LB again!“

“This place has minimalistic decor that’s bright and simple. They have very unique drink flavors and they offer cold brew, matcha and Einspänner, which I don’t see so often. It’s a Viennese drink that I drank every day when I was in Vienna and Europe where the top layer is a really thick whipped sweetened cream. But nowadays, it translate to any drink topped with this thick sweetened cream on any type of drink not just espresso.

I got strawberry matcha latte for myself and picked up ice pistachio latte, biscoff cookie butter latte and strawberry lemonade for the family.

The strawberry matcha latte has been the best matcha I’ve had by far. It’s nutty not grassy or bitter so you know it’s not low grade, yet it’s bold and strong. The strawberry purée was perfect. It wasn’t thick like jam or thin like syrup. It still had the pulp and when you mix it, it didn’t change the matcha taste.

I will need to come back to try their coffee.“
