“Pleasantly surprised to have this experience of flavor, ambiance and service. We normally go to Nico’s or Marlena because of its consistency of flavor and location to home. Viaje is the equivalent and then some. The chef is from Mexico City and is the real deal. The food, starting off with the ceviche 9/10, ribeye appetizer 10/10, branzino 10/10 and then the dessert of the tres leches 10/10. Ok, so you don’t quite believe me, well, try 11/10 for the consume broth for the lamb appetizer!! David was our server recommended we just try the broth since we were so full. We were dipping tortilla chips into the broth like little kids it was so good!! It didn’t matter how full be were!

Food all came out timely and together nice and hot. It’s rare to have everything taste that good from start to finish. Price may be an obstacle for most, but doesn’t break the bank like a Michelin Star place. Viaje is one of those restaurants that need to stay on 2nd St…it is the very best on that strip if not all of Long Beach.“

“This was our second time visiting Fuego Cravings. It’s such a hidden gem in Whittier and has become one of our favorite places to eat. Everyone is so nice and helpful. The food was so good too! We got an al pastor burrito, birria tacos with consommé, carnitas taco, fish taco and chips, salsa and guacamole.

They also have games to play while you wait. We ended up playing Connect Four! Thanks again for the hospitality and great tasting food. We’ll be back soon!“

If you haven’t tried Mr Menudo in Downey, you have no idea what you are missing. “I love Oscars, quality food and ingredients. Oscar is always super friendly and I love seeing his family hanging out. He’s there from early morning until late night and greets everyone with a smile and welcoming attitude. I am from San Diego and this restaurant reminds me of a lot of the Mexican restaurants down south. The food is very authentic and I love their salsa bar! The Cali burrito is delicious. Their breakfast burritos are delicious and affordable.“

“As you walk in birds chirp to welcome you in. I ordered the carne en su jugo, it was delicious. Born in Jalisco, and eating this dish at homemade, it definitely hits home! I also tried the red pork pozole and was ok for my standards,but for my American friend it was a 10. The bigest disappointment was the Tamale de Rajas ( cheese with jalapeño slices) it had no cheese, but had tomato, onion and jalapeño. I would not recommend it. Service was excellent, very clean establishment. Only recommendation is to offer a desert, like churro, flan or arroz con Leche. I would come back, I would like to try the albóndigas next time.“

“The food was amazing, the service was great. The patio and dinning room were close for some reason, but it didn't matter I got my food to go. My friend told me about this place. I was just in the area for work, but I'd definitely recommend this place!“

“This place is SO good! I got the breakfast burrito and added cheese and avocado. Omg it was so big I had it for two meals. It was just as amazing for the second meal. Everyone that worked there was so nice, it had such a great family feel. A few customers came in while I was eating outside, and it was clear they were regulars - as i would be if I lived closer! Also, I dont eat meat and there were plenty of options!

There aren't any tables inside but there are a few outside with umbrellas if needed.“

“The shrimp tacos will change you. The food came out pretty fast, but good luck finding somewhere to sit. It is absolutely packed whenever I go there for good reason of course. To summarize; the food is amazing, the food came out fast (about 8 minutes), and you need to get it to go because you most likely won't get a seat.“

The food is good the customer service is good I have no complaints I'm giving it a five-star review prices are excellent you can ask for more there's nothing fishy about it you need to get out and try something and if a place is good of course they're going to have all good reviews I feel sorry for you never seen a good place or tasted good Mexican food and I'm 100% Mexican so get out some try something new unless you're from another nearby restaurant trying to put a negative spin on something but don't revenge is excellent five stars for sure!“

“I ordered asada, pastor, and cabeza - my usual trio. Unfortunately, the meat was very dry for me. The lady who helped me at the cashier was nice. The price has been raised a bit more compared to the menu picture on here taken 7 months ago. Many indoor seatings and big parking lot.“

“THIS PLACE IS INCREDIBLE! Run don’t walk to eat here. It’s in a unique area that looks like a business district but the food is amazing! The burger and the French fries were so good and crispy! We also loved the Wild Caught Salmon! I will be coming back for the Breakfast Burrito. The best part is you can tell the owner cares to only find high quality ingredients. This place is a hidden gem and excited I discovered it!“

“I was told about this place from an out of town coworker that has relatives near by. The owner/cook was very hospitable and everything was surprisingly low priced. Tacos were very tasty and well balanced. I would go back definitely. The only thing I didn’t really like was the parking lot cause its entrance is very close to a busy blvd with fast traffic. You have to exit very carefully. I recommend either parking in the back, side street or back in.“

The Green salsa is so tasty/savory. They don't have a kids menu so we ordered the pancake plate that included eggs, hash browns and sausage for our toddler. She also loved it! Definitely recommend coming here. The lady up front was nice and pleasant to interact with.“
