This amazing staff got up at 3 am to make sure the order was there and on time. Rave reviews were emailed to me about the quality and care of the delicious care packages given to each of those important caregivers at the hospital. First rate care and preparation. T-Swirl Crépe is a Japanese crepes franchise that offer the finest crepes in America. This location is at a large plaza in Temple City. They have the freshest ingredients and all are Gluten-free! Also, they have smoothie and milk tea. It was my first time here and perused their vast list. I had a mini Berry crepe and it taste good. For me it hits everything from the light sweetness to texture to flavor.

Service was modest. Staff were competent. Prices were fair that match the quality. Atmosphere was relaxing. Vibe was okay. Seats were comfortable. Overall, I enjoyed my Japanese crepe. I recommend you visit. I shall return.“

Today’s pilgrimage finds me in Sierra Madre at Syndicate, a fantastic find nestled comfortably downtown on Sierra Madre Blvd. Plenty of street parking and a beautiful place to take a stroll if you don’t score a spot immediately out front. The vibe is instantly welcoming, decor is colorfully minimalist, that’s probably not a thing, but it’s the best descriptor I have. The baristas are friendly, skilled and true devotees to all things coffee, even willing to share some potential sites to visit on the next LAtte stop. The coffee itself is excellent, rich, flavorful and no hint of bitterness. I went with oat milk this time and it paired perfectly with the blend, rich creamy, delicious! I can wholeheartedly recommend a visit should you find yourself in the area, or even if your not- expand your horizons and make it a destination, it’s worth it.“

Food: I had ordered 3 food items and forgot to take a picture. It was the avocado toast and peanut butter & banana toast. And a chocolate croissant. Súper bomb! Would definitely order all 3 again.
Drinks: Tried their coffee fall flight…and wow! Genius. Hope it’s a year round option and can choose other options when seasonal drinks aren’t in.
Staff: super nice & attentive.
Place: Very clean, easy to find seating. Parking wasn’t hard. Went here around 9-10am.“

“I had the best experience here at melrose bakery. I was searching online for Italian bread for sandwiches and found this gem. Nancy was super helpful, I ended up leaving with 2 giant loafs of sourdough bread. All for $5! I originally wanted rolls but those need to be ordered ahead of time. They are a wholesale store and open to the public. I followed the exact instructions on the reviews to find this place. Awesome place!“

“There was an event earlier in the morning and I got a coupon for a free 2-pack cinnamon rolls so it was perfect that I was planning to go for dinner that same day! Cinnamon rolls were yummy and I love the fact that the icing comes separate since I’m not the biggest fan of sugary icing. I tried a different dish, Pasta primavera and added grilled chicken. This was good and would recommend it. Their side salad was yummy, had all the good toppings and at the end, my family ordered peach pie and sadly they ran out! This is a seasonal item so they were very disappointed. But it just goes to show you that it’s popular and to reserve it once you get seated because my family actually called ahead and asked if it was available and it was but after we ate, they sold out!“

If you're going to go with any breads, I'd say stick to the Asian fillings like taro or red bean: those were best. I was not impressed by the chocolate stuff. She warmed up the cookies we were going to eat then and there. A lot of parking at the time that I went, which was on a Sunday around 6:30 pm. They sell merch, the t shirts were pretty cool.“

I ordered a matcha latte with almond milk, hot with a cold brew. The matcha was solid and had perfect flavor, temperature. A solid pick me up for sure and the cold brew was strong with a bold flavor.
