“A legit Hawaiian food spot, I haven't had a good garlic shrimp plate in CA until now (it reminds me of Giovanni's shrimps). Also, I tried their crunchy Gojujang fried chicken and beef ribs and they were delicious. I would definitely recommend these dishes as a first timer here and wash it down with Dole pineapple slushy.“

I weil suggest “easy rice” for less rice and the chicken/spam were cooked/sauced perfectly.I’d definitely come back and try their other menu items.“

“I've been coming here for years to get my Hawaiian food fix.

All the dishes are yummy, but my favorites are the beef plate (comes with beef, rice, and Mac salad) and the masubi.

Service was quick. Waited about 10-15 min for fresh food made to order so it's not lying around in food warmers.

“Located right next to Cal Poly college, Jinza Teriyaki is a great spot to eat after classes, my all time favorite is the Loco Moco bowl. The people are incredibly nice and especially early the place is a nice quite area to eat in. “I was craving Spam Masubi so I came here. Unfortunately, the Spam Masubi tasted like it was sitting all day. The Spam was thin, crispy and dry. Not cooked the way I'm used to. I bit into it and it didn't have a fresh taste to it. I also ordered the combination plate with beef short ribs and fried shrimp. The short ribs were on the saltier side, but tender and flavorful. The fried shrimp were cooked too long tasting harder and crunchier than they should have been. The white rice was soft and fresh. The macaroni salad was fresh. The service was great. Server is friendly. The food also came quick. I may come back to give this place a second try in case they were off their game. But $32 for an unpleasant experience was too expensive.“
