“The best pizza I habe ever had glad I grew up in La Puente. I have overnightes pizza to friends and family in other states from here. Pizza in NY cant touch scardinos and comparing any other pizza to scardinos pizza is extreamly unfair to the other pizza as its in a class of its own. When I was a kid I remember one of the older italian owners at a grocery store complaining to tge manager that the freshness and quality of one of the I'm ingredients was not fresh or quality enough. I dont recall exactly. But I knew when I grew up to own a business I would be that crazy about quality. This is a family own and ran business and I cant express what this place and the food means to our community. We are so very lucky to have them! You have never lived until you have had scardinos pizza or tried one of everything on the menu and I mean this from the bottom of my soul. -SGV“

“I was welcomed by several friendly women. I ordered two of the stuffed crust and some bread sticks. They have readily made pizza but the specialty pizza takes around 20 minutes or so. Excellent service and low wait times. My parents and I loved the food. Prices are decent too.“

“I've been going for over 30 years and was so disappointed in their food today. I get that food prices have gone up and the portions are smaller these day. I like the smaller portions. But to serve a half basket of chips and salsa in a little dressing cup that my chip cant fit in was disappointing. Their delicious green salsa verde with piece of meat in it was so not the same taste and was not good. I dont know when and if I'll ever go back again because of the disappointing quality of food.“

I had an amazing experience at this Juan Pollo! The food was absolutely delicious — the chicken was perfectly seasoned, juicy, and tender, with just the right amount of seasoned flavor. “Double play pizza has a soft spot in my heart. Everything is amazingly delicious and inexpensive. The owners are the sweetest people you can ever meet. They go over and beyond for their customers like bringing your pizza over to your car when they don’t have to. Or gifting my toddler a pizza box for his pizza play set at home. My two year old loves coming here because the owners always talk to him, give him lollipops and are so sweet to him. I’m so happy to have found this place when we moved out here two years ago.“

“long time ago a friend bring to me a breakfast from this location and taste was really good, and this time I was here with my family members to take a dinner over weekend, wasn't on peak time, but location have a very warm atmosphere, the service is very friendly, We don't expect big plates with lots of food, I took some back home, In my side I order Molcajete with side of guacamole, in my humble opinion was really taste on the majority of ingredients, but some things were not to my liking, for example the chorizo and carnitas no too bad but doesn't have the really Mexican style, maybe some other like but for me was and one of my nephew wasn't, also beans I didn't know they put mozzarella cheese on top, I am not a very good candidate for this combination, I would have liked the chicken to be leg fillet, which is juicier, instead of breast. Any way we left very full and satisfied.“

Our family favorites are chow mein, chow fun, orange chicken, bbq pork, egg foo Yung and work wonton soup... The soup is in a larger container than usual. Various drinks and boba available. Got 3 3 items combos work wonton soup extra rice noodles and rice and a lrg coke for $56. Fed 6 people with almost half leftover. They also have a special 3 lrg items and rice,noodles egg flower or hot & sour soup and 4.soda.cans
$30.99. I recommend. They have a few tables but we always takeout.“

We’ve tried the flautas, sopes, huaraches, tacos dorados, enchiladas, French fries and agua de melon & Jamaica. Their coffee is served hot and is very tasty. They give chips and salsa and the salsa is delicious. They get busy and sometimes it takes them a while to come around for refills but overall the staff is nice and the food comes out quickly. Great food, one of our party had beef pho with ribeye and fish balls, and commented that it was super flavorful, my husband devoured the combo rice plate and raved about the beef sausage, and my shrimp fried rice was excellent, with big, perfectly cooked shrimp. And the best bit..... We have leftovers because the portions were HUGE! (Oh, and the passion fruit lemonade... So good!)

4.4 star food at prices of what you'd normally pay for 3 star food. Really worth going if you want to get your money's worth. Just wish you could get half order of onion rings. At least with meals. A whole order is a bit much for one person, yet they are pretty good. It's sharing size for at least 2 peeps. Yet if that's the only negative, I'll take it.“
