“Took our neighbors for their 40th anniversary. Even though they’ve lived in the valley for multiple decades, they had never been there (which is what I had hoped so as to surprise them). “The setting at the La Quinta Resort is beautiful. The weather warm, the patio great for bringing a dog. Hector came right away and delivered water, and menu recommendations. “We love this place and eat here a few times a week! Its close and convenient and always consistently good! There's a lot of meh cafes in the desert. Same stuff. Same sandwiches, salads, egg dishes, pretty boring fare but this place cranks out DELICIOUS food! And the people who work there are really attentive and NICE! BEST chicken Pozole around! Really good chilaquiles and pancakes! GREAT value!“

“I was just invited for my Birthday Afternoon Tea Celebration at this wonderful venue! Everything was perfect..The food, the atmosphere, the staff and Willie himself! The attention to detail was much appreciated. Lovely tea service, the live harp music, beautifully presented food. Our waiter made sure our yummy Vanilla Earl Grey Tea was always refreshed and hot. Highly recommend this cool and elegant restaurant! Can’t wait to come back!!“

“Keedy’s Diner is the perfect classic breakfast spot in Palm Springs. I ordered eggs with bacon and hash browns, plus a side of pancakes, and everything hit the spot. The eggs were cooked just right, the bacon was crispy and flavorful, and the hash browns had that perfect golden crunch on the outside while staying soft inside.

The pancakes were fluffy, buttery, and easily some of the best I’ve had at a diner — they came out hot and fresh, the kind you can tell are made with care.

On top of the great food, the diner has that old-school charm and welcoming vibe that makes you feel right at home. Service was friendly and fast, and the whole experience felt genuine and classic.

“Concise Review Great poolside food, drinks, & staff ----- Longer Review We have visited Marriott’s Shadow Ridge in Palm Desert since 2002, and afternoons at the pool, with food and drinks from Chuckwalla Bar & Grill, are a bit part of every trip. One of my all time favorite photos is from a nice afternoon, poolside, several years ago when the kids were little... it was one of our most fun and peaceful afternoons as a family anywhere... the photos is of our daughter, asleep on my wonderful wife, my wonderful wife smiling at me, and our son was on the chair in between us, smiling as he was drinking a strawberry smoothie from Chuckwalla’s... such a blessing. We visited Southern California - Palm Desert, Yucaipa, and Malibu - for Spring Break 2021. This trip we had more activities off-property than usual, so we only got one nice long afternoon at the pool, and RebekahM made it a little extra special. The sun, the water, fun in the pool... and smoothies... such a joy. Before I had a chance to think about it, smoothies were en route from Chuckwalla... strawberry, banana, and alcohol-free pina colada. Rebekah delivered them to us with a big smile and infectiously positive attitude. Rebekah turned the fun up a notch with her dancing and smiling and laughing as she took our orders and delivered to the families around the pool... everyone was extra happy when she was around. Thank you, Rebekah and Chuckwalla, for another memorable trip! ----- ----- -----“

“I’m a craft beer fanatic, so when you read my review please keep that in mind. Service was great, the pizza was really good, but there were no “real” craft beers. This is despite, claiming to have a brewery onsite. They do have three or four beers brewed there, but they were not that good. All of the others came from the big, mass produced breweries. Come for the food and atmosphere, but not for the beer.“

It was already maxed out with people wolfing down appetizers and wine with not one seat open. Not Cool. Clearly the good Ole boys got the we will let you in early memo. Happy hour and menu selections are fantastic. Calamari is well seasoned and fried to perfection. My mom loved the fresh fish and chips... Fries are fantastic. Dad's Cubano with the pulled pork is off the hook.

“It closed two weeks ago. I used to love the blu ember and came out here for lunch or cocktails every time I would be out in the desert. Unfortunately, I just came out tonight and found out that it is closed. It’s been replaced with an Italian restaurant. So sad.“

“We so enjoyed our dinner tonight at Cork and Fork in La Quinta- delicious Vegan options- crispy cauliflower and the Brussels Sprouts starter were delicious- and the wines served on the Happy Hour menu were delightful! We’ll be back!“

“A combined birthday celebration and a 50th wedding anniversary. This was a big night out for the four of us, and it was a wonderful evening. Initially there was some confusion with the address and GPS because there are so many places called “Indian Wells”. And the building that IW Live is in looks like a private condo building. Perhaps when it was called Frank’s Place there wasn’t this confusion! Food and service was outstanding and we found the prices reflected the quality. The entertainment started promptly at 6pm. Marc Antonelli and Maureen MacDonald (a lovely Canadian singer!). There are two sets to their program. We wish we could have stayed for the second set, because the set list would have been more to our liking — more celebration music, rather than somber Classic (opera) music and a sad song to commemorate 9 / 11. The Prayer, by Carole Bayer Sager. But the singers have wonderful vocals!
To top the evening off, the staff presented our table with beautiful desserts, one for the birthday, one for the anniversary! Thank you!“

“We had a wonderful time two weeks ago, so we came back and brought guests. This was the most disappointing meal I have had in years. Waited over ten minutes before someone even greeted us. No one at reception. I finally asked the bartender if it was self seating. Waiter said they were totally under staffed. Took 30 minutes before ordering and even had to go get water for the table. Another 40 minutes for food to arrive. Hopefully it will get fixed, but doubtful we will ever go back.“
