“This is a fabulous Thai Restaurant. You are greeted with a warm smile and then served really delicious food. I had curry puff balls followed by spicy prawns and bacon. Who doesn’t love prawns and bacon. The flavors were fabulous and the vegetables were so fresh and tasty. I will be back for more for sure. Thank you. Five stars from me.“

“A hidden gem. Was introduced to this quaint oasis by friends. Since then, it has become one of my favorite haunts. The owner is extremely courteous, very generous and hospitable. We started by going there for dinner but on one occasion wanted to celebrate a friend’s birthday for lunch and needed and requested an extended and uninterrupted experience. So we were allowed to stay on beyond the 2:30 pm shut down before dinner in a very cosy and welcoming setting. The host was most attentive when needed but did not try to rush our ordering of lunch menu selections and even suggested to try some new dishes on the menu. I take all my special guests to the bungalow on rose for an exquisite dining experience.“

The atmosphere is not as great… it was cold when we were there and the metal chairs and lack of decor make it feel a little unwelcoming and industrial. “Saneh Bangkok is a fantastic Thai restaurant with great food and a really welcoming atmosphere.

The grilled pork skewers were excellent, very flavorful and nicely grilled. The Pad Thai was outstanding. We finished one plate and my son immediately asked for another, which says a lot. The crispy chicken is a must try as well, full of flavor and well cooked. We also tried their signature dish and it did not disappoint.

The Thai coffee was rich, sweet, and intense, definitely on the stronger side but very enjoyable if you like bold flavors.

Service was friendly and attentive, and the restaurant has a warm, cozy vibe that makes you want to stay and enjoy the meal.

We’ll definitely be coming back.“

“First time eating in this restaurant and it didn’t disappoint. We had the steamed dumplings with crab, garlic fried rice, whole branzino with fish sauce and green beans with mushrooms and half half purple rice and jasmine rice. They were all delicious.
The steamed dumplings came out right away but we had to wait awhile for the next dish. Then the green beans and mushrooms came out which were perfectly crispy and in an oyster/fish garlic sauce. The next dish didn’t come out for a long time. We were so hungry that we essentially ate the entire side before our second two dishes came out.
It was obviously not our server’s fault. The kitchen could have timed it better.
We did not have any beverages nor dessert. The bill to $148 with an above average tip. We will be back but it’s not going to be a regular thing due to the price.“

When I came back in to get it they were so kind in helping to find it, and then when I ordered to go food with my toddler who was being a handful the server brought it out to my car. “Mai Thai is our go-to for Thai food. We chose it over Naung Mai in Oak Harbor initially because of the price difference, but the portions are bigger and there's more of your chosen meat/protein in the soups and entrees. That said- be aware you have to LIKE SPICE. Recently it has been difficult to get "spice 1", which should just be a hint. If you say "no spice", it's OK, but not Thai, right? But if there's a difference between 1 and 4, I can't tell. Our Pho soup tonight (spice 1) was burning our throats. The pad thai was OK at spice 1, but still quite a bit spicier than I would assume 1 would be. This is a new development for this restaurant, so it is probably a new chef. Just BE AWARE. Anyway, most people complain the food in the PNW is too bland, so you won't have that problem, at least! And as far as ordering, we use the online app. Add five mins to the time it says your pick up is ready. It is never ready. Door Dashers use this place constantly, and they clog the order process. There is indoor dining, but we have never used it, thanks to Covid protocols. Also- a final word on parking. The parking lot has been sectioned off from looping through the driver's ed school next door. Therefore the lot is super tough to turn and get out. You are better off parking along the strip by the salon to the left of the restaurant and walking up. Please be careful in this area of town at night.“
