“We searched high & low for a bakery to cater our wedding in Laguna Beach. Unfortunately we didn’t hear back from other companies, even those who were recommended to us through our venue. But, from the initial phone conversation with the staff at The B8kery , to our wedding day, the service, communication, & follow through have been amazing!! Lia & Madison helped us customize a Dessert Bar and wedding cake that fit our personal taste and wedding aesthetic. We received lots of compliments on all of the pastries from our guests! The cookies, brownies, strawberries, & red velvet cake were some of the best we’ve ever had!!! The morning of the wedding, my Dad & Husband bought a cinnamon roll & muffins for breakfast too, and said they were the best they’ve ever had! We recommend The B8kery 1000/1000 and can’t wait to come back to town and stock up on all of their goodies!!!“

“We were visiting Laguna over the weekend and stopped by Rye Goods on Saturday, and then couldn't not come back again Sunday. All of their offerings are SO GOOD. I had the morning sugar latte, iced, with oatmilk, and it was one of the easiest lattes to drink. It wasn't overly sugary, as the name might indicate, and the oatmilk didn't have a strong presence like some brands tend to do. Super easy drinker. We also had a burrito, avocado toast, and a handful of pastries. The avo toast was hearty and the bread was super soft and meant for this type of meal. We came around 8-9am both days and didn't have a problem with lines, seating or service. Those working were super personable and helpful. I wish I lived here so I could go to this place more often.“

Perfectly sweet with just the the amount of tang, and a cool firm texture that will actually amaze you on the first bite. And that doesn't even mention their cookies... of almost every type. “Poul’s Bakery took our breath away , we couldn’t believe the cake we have taken pictures from we have searched the internet images and sent it to her the custom cake we wanted , and not only she made the identical one ,the taste was so delicious actually finished the entire slice, it’s rare for me to eat the whole slice, as many cakes are made with to much sugar , it overwhelms to entire cakes other ingredients, this was so perfectly balanced ,and l asked for second , so did few guests , we as host wished we ordered the bigger size , we don’t like the buttercream topping due to its excessive sugar , we ordered her soexisl topping , while you others ask no buttercream but we want Poul’s Bakery special topping we heard so much about it , sorry l don’t remember what it was called . My bad ,this Poul’s baker we also find out been around for decades as she is the second owner but uses the same original recipes. She said it’s a company secret Lol, we respect that Try Poul’s Bakery , it won’t s sidelong you and ask for a sample of their fantastic cannolis . And on the spot in events she actually make the cake front of your guests . We never tried that but people are ranting about it and went at viral with millions of views and shared ,,we saw it in her website . Drinks: Don’t forget to scan your points! We only ordered drinks this time since they didn’t have all their bakery items we liked. I got their new Red Velvet Bliss and Dark Chocolate Mocha. The red velvet taste definitely came through. It wasn’t too overwhelmingly sweet. The dark chocolate mocha was a bit bitter for my liking. I mean dark chocolate is bitter, so I wasn’t surprised lol.“
