“Stopped by before a trip to the beach. The staff was very friendly and they had a decent selection of drink and fresh baked goods. To my surprise they had pho, which I shared with my wife. The broth was nothing memorable, and the rice noodles were excellent. A good addition to the herb plate would have been some mint and additional beansprouts.“

“I have to say, this is the most extraordinary breakfast I've ever experienced. Each dish was incredibly unique, bursting with flavors that melded together beautifully. The presentation was stunning, and it was evident that a lot of thought went into creating this meal. From the perfectly cooked eggs to the artisanal bread and the fresh, vibrant fruits, every bite was a delightful surprise. The combination of tastes and textures was simply incredible, making it not just a meal, but a culinary adventure.“

“I visited Diotoma on a Friday around 11:30 AM. The parking lot is quite small so I had to circle for parking and there was a line. However, don't let that deter you from coming. There were so many delicious looking pastries, cookies, and cakes (I also saw some people had sandwiches). I had to wait about 20 min to order pastries and another 10 min or so for a coffee drink. So the entire visit took about 30 min. We got the pain cookie (pain suisse filled with brown butter butterscotch cookie dough), Korean salt bread, and mixed berry custard tart. The mixed berry custard tart is make with the same croissant dough so it's crispy and flakey, but it softens quickly due to the custard filling. However, the custard filling is generous and very silky. The Korean salt bread was a simple savory loaf. For me, the star was the pain cookie. The cookie dough was appropriately soft and chocolatey and the pastry was really flakey and crispy. I would go back just for the pain cookie but there was so many other interesting looking pastries. I would definitely recommend stopping here if you like pastries. I will definitely be swinging by here again the next time I'm in the area.“

Her cheese cakes are out of this world! Especially her Mars cheese cake is absolutely one of a kind. You have to try it to believe how delicious they are. Banana lovers, you must try her chocolate chip banana cake! “Poul’s Bakery took our breath away , we couldn’t believe the cake we have taken pictures from we have searched the internet images and sent it to her the custom cake we wanted , and not only she made the identical one ,the taste was so delicious actually finished the entire slice, it’s rare for me to eat the whole slice, as many cakes are made with to much sugar , it overwhelms to entire cakes other ingredients, this was so perfectly balanced ,and l asked for second , so did few guests , we as host wished we ordered the bigger size , we don’t like the buttercream topping due to its excessive sugar , we ordered her soexisl topping , while you others ask no buttercream but we want Poul’s Bakery special topping we heard so much about it , sorry l don’t remember what it was called . My bad ,this Poul’s baker we also find out been around for decades as she is the second owner but uses the same original recipes. She said it’s a company secret Lol, we respect that Try Poul’s Bakery , it won’t s sidelong you and ask for a sample of their fantastic cannolis . And on the spot in events she actually make the cake front of your guests . We never tried that but people are ranting about it and went at viral with millions of views and shared ,,we saw it in her website . “These are the best Balboa Bars on the island. They use premium chocolate that’s a mix of milk and dark chocolate, and they have premium ice cream. The result is that these are a lot better than the Balboa bars at Dad’s Original and the Original Frozen Banana Stand. We have tried those other places many times and they’re also very good. But if you’re ready to graduate, walk a few steps down to Too Sweet - you won’t regret it.“

“I ordered their BLTA on sourdough and a fruit tart. The sandwich was absolutely DELICIOUS!! All the ingredients were crisp and fresh, and the bacon was crispy but not at all burnt! It was literally the best bacon sandwich I've had since moving here. It's a simple comfort food but they absolutely nailed it!! The fruit tart was a delight as well!! The cream was light and sweet with a heavenly tart crust.
The shop's interior was clean and beautifully decorated and they made me feeling right at home. (Also their bathroom was clean and smelt so nice!)

“Love our experience at Eightfold Tea Shoppe this past weekend. The girl working was very efficient and was straightforward with us letting us know that the drinks were going to take a little bit longer than usual as there were several orders ahead of us and she was the only one at the moment. It was definitely worth the wait, the drinks were made to perfection; good balance with the tea taste and sweetness. We ordered the Earl grey cheese cream and mango swirl.

Classic donut shop like what I grew up with in LA, but sooo much better because they’re open until 7 and have a drive through. I’ve been earlier in the day and right before close and some how the donuts still taste fluffy and delicious!

The owners are so nice and you can tell they truly care about the quality for their customers!! The glaze is consistent and creamy on all the donuts! The donuts them selves are moist and soft and never dry!

We love coming here and highly recommend! Best maple bar and old fashioned.“
