“Pizza was goodAllergy riskThe gluten free pizza is made in the same oven as regular pizza. They call it gluten friendly. It's also hit or miss if they have the gluten free crusts. If you order online check your cart closely at checkout, if something is unavailable it will auto cancel out even if you added it. You might think you ordered it but you really didn't. They won't charge you, but you won't get it.All the pizzas are basically large personal pizzas.“
“aPizza Doho is one of the best new restaurants to pop up in Dana Point. The pizzas are creative and flavors are always on point. Service team is fantastic - always a great experience and welcoming vibe. Personal favorites are the Stingray pizza, the Frito Misto appetizer and the Doho Chop salad. Also their lunch special is the best deal in town and can easily feed 2-3 people. Parking is challenging in the center, but the fight for a spot is worth it for aPizza Doho!“
“Stop by this place after brunch around the corner and decided to do the blind test of three different wines ..I'm far from an expert or anything but we did enjoyed and had fun trying to guess what our wines were. If you guess it right, you get it free!! lol Also ordered a charcuterie board Sat at the patio. Wanted to go to the upper level but they had a private party going on. It sounded fun! Hey, so if you're having some sort of private event, maybe you should consider the idea of looking up this place. Service was attentive. We had our dog with us and they were nice enough to let us bring her to the patio area with us and enjoy the sunny weather.“
“A local owner (went to the local high school back in the day) who's involved in the community. Oh, and a great Cali beer selection for all tastes (changes frequently) delivered with genuinely good service. Cheers!Parking: Close to harbor, coastal views (1 block away), and many restaurants.“
“My experience here was great, powered by GREAT service. Candice A answered a bunch of first timer questions and was just pleasant in a world of unhappy humans.Grabbed a Left Coast Pastrami with secret sauce and it was what I would expect. Good bread, descent ratio of pastrami, warmed up and delicious.Sat at the bar and enjoyed great conversations and service from Ricky. 12 beers/seltzer on tap. 10 other canned beer/wine. 3 TVs across the restaurant. They try to always have games going worth watching. Sure they would throw your favorite on if you ask. Will definitely return.Maybe you should ask if they have a secret menu.Parking: This is in a busy shopping center. Lots of parking, but can get busy at the right times.Wheelchair accessibility: It's accessible“
“The food and atmosphere was incredible…burrata, meatballs and Mary’s chicken are fantastic. The burger and ceviche is also incredible. A not to miss spot right on the water. Savannah is also incredible with beer and wine recommendations as well as food knowledge. Highly recommend.“
“I am a long time Brewhouse customer and there's a reason. They have a great selection and a great atmosphere. The staff are very accommodating, reasonable, and friendly. The owners are very cool people. There's also live music, trivia night, food events, and other cool stuff from time to time. Great place, I can't recommend it enough.“
“The Center Hub at Trade makes the best cocktails I have tried at a decent price with a smile. I often bring my friends, co-workers and family to enjoy a drink and get something to eat from one of restaurants surrounding my favorite bar. Happy Hour is some much better at Center Hub at Trade.Wheelchair accessibility: they have a lot parking open spaces!Yes front row parking for wheelchair access“
“Shabu Shabu is our special date night meal. We like to seak it out wherever we travel to. We really enjoyed our meal here, portions (ordered large meat) were good and ingredients were fresh. This is the first Shabu Shabu I have visited that did not have bok choy and that's my favorite veggie I was disappointed. But they have all the other ingredients, excellent broths and variety of sauces, even egg for dipping. We ate here on a busy Saturday night, it felt like a cafeteria with how the business is run, very efficient but no ambiance for the cost of the meal.“
“Decided to get dinner here after a long walk and this was nearby since I was craving a burger. I decided to get the shwack. I decided to get spuds with it and a fountain drink. I also got sauce with it. There are seats inside and out. Service was great.“
“Classic dive bar across the parking lot from the beach in Newport. I normally order a special sandwich, pickled egg and a draft beer. The draft beer is always good, they pour a lot of drafts so it is always fresh and ice cold. Bar service so order at the bar and either sit / stand there (it's often very crowded so barstools can be hard to come by. Or sit at a booth if there's one available.“
“One of the best places in the area for drinks. Mix that with a lo-fi DJ on certain days + an animistic ambiance and you have a potent concoction for a sultry evening. Speaking concoctions, “An Incan Ruin” is a veritable elixir of mysticism x flavor. 10/10 would recommend.“
“Board and brew always has excellent food, experience in the restaurant is always enjoyable. I'm not much of a beer guy but my dad enjoys their beers. Had a rough experience on 3/13 and the manager reached out on 3/14 asking for clarification so he could educate his team and apologized for the inconvenience.“
“I can’t begin to explain how friendly, efficient and comfortable this establishment is.The minute you walk through the door the staff always greets you with a smile and offer you the soup of the day.Once you sit down the staff is consistently checking on you.if you want water or if they can help you with your trash or ask you how the foods tasting. It’s hard to find a place that offers everything from the local games to the big games, great beer and absolutely perfect service. If you have a chance check out the bar top and ask Hector what new beer is on tap. He’s always willing to take the time and share the new arrivals.Nothing beats good customer service and great food.“
“Came here for the first time on valentines day for dinner and their tri tip was amaazing!! Super flavorful - tender. Its not cut up like most tri tips ive ordered are. It was really good! Their sides had a lot of flavor too. The tri tip was much better than my friends brisket. Service was fast and friendly. Would definitely be back if hanging at the spectrum.“
“I've been here before but this time around was the best visit. The server Shane had the best service and recommendations. He told me to start with the cocojito. That drink tasted great! I got a couple entrees as well. While eating my fries, Shane told me about their "secret sauce" and ran to the back to get me a side of it. The cherry on top was being able to watch all the NBA games. They had the warriors game on the big screen. Ambiance for sports fans is top tier. I will be definitely be coming back!“
“Nice pizza, sandwich, salad Italian place. I really enjoyed the caprese sandie. It's a very large sandwich so I was only able to eat half. Packed with lots of arugula and mozzarella plus a giant slice of tomato. The bread app was really good, basically Parker house rolls covered with cheese/garlic/butter and comes with marinara sauce. My sister has the lemon pasta and loved it as well. I would just say that they missed giving us napkins and utensils in our order tho they knew we were eating next door and the order took a lot longer than it should have. Would love to dine in next time and try other items.“
“We have had take-out pho on multiple occasions from Pho Lantern. Tonight we chose to dine in with two of our kids. We had such a fabulous experience. The food is always delicious but the service was extraordinary. Our server Vui had an incredible grasp of customer service and wowed us with her amazing hospitality. We LOVE Pho Lantern.“
“We love this place because it is mostly outside, has an upbeat vibe, and even when it is cool, they have plenty of heaters to keep you warm. There is no real table service, but there is a great beer selection, (they consistently have Pliny The Elder), and the food is average, but I don't eat beef. My husband and son rave about the burgers. Will we come back? Yes. Why? Beer and Burgers, (I'll keep eating fish and salad.. lol)“
“Discovered this gem back in 2020. Food is excellent, and we have been going back ever since.... it's our favorite Japanese/Sushi place. We always get the Bento Box with the Chicken Katsu or Teriyaki Chicken, California or Crunchy Roll, Shrimp and Veg Tempura and a side of the pork gyoza. The Karaage chicken is also very good. Love their fried rice too!!!! Service is always great as well.... they know we're regulars now. Prices are reasonable. I Highly recommend this place!“
“Long time divey bar in Balboa. I've been getting beers here for over 30 years now. Cold beer on tap with wine and full bar stock available. Years ago they served food but those days are long gone. Bring food in and eat it there with a drink from the bartender. If you want suggestions on what food is good and close by ask the bartender or one of the locals hanging out having a drink. Pizza Pete is literally next door for pizza by the slice or whole pie. Great Mex is about a block away for tacos. The Balboa market makes sandwiches to order that are solid as well. Darts, pool tables, and games. This is a bar, so no one under 21 is admitted. I saw one review that thought you could bring a baby in. Not sure why the reviewer would believe that was okay but it is clearly against the law. Enjoy the local ambiance, lots of long time Newport characters hang out here. If you're interested in fishing you should have no problem finding someone to talk fishing with.“
“My boyfriend and I had a blast at Cowboys and Poodles, we loved the decor of the place and J the bartender made us some tasty drinks! We sat on the stools that resembled a horse and ordered the golden hour, cafe noir and the bunny buckle. All of the drinks were great and just up my alley because they were nice and sweet. We will definitely be back for more.“
“We recently visited Taco Rosa in Newport Beach and were blown away! Right from the start, the Cadillac Margarita prepared our palates for an incredible meal. The Queso Fundido, with its burst of flame and flavor, was a showstopper. But the real stars were the Chile Relleno Tacos and Tacos de Filete - each bite was a mix of traditional taste and modern flair, especially the melt-in-your-mouth brie on the Tacos de Filete. It's clear that Taco Rosa prides itself on using fresh ingredients to reinvent Mexican classics. The atmosphere was just as impressive, buzzing with energy and warmth. Whether you're with friends or family, Taco Rosa promises a fun and flavorful experience.Don't just take our word for it, head over to Taco Rosa and taste the magic for yourself. It's an experience you won't forget!“
“Exceeded my expectations by far! we were greeted by the owner Betsy. She was so welcoming and pleasant to speak to.Their portions here are very generous compared to the price (pictures dont do it justice) and they also make a very good “healthier for you” margarita .I highly recommend.“
“Very comfortable, casual, fun place! Had the pretzel- it was delicious. Our bartender, Maddie, was super nice, informative, and attentive, even coming around a few times to clear empties. I don't drink currently, but their NA Bravus was a great option. Recommend for chill vibes!“
