“There is a reason this nearly has a perfect 5-star rating. From the aroma of fresh, high quality coffee to the wooden earthy, natural color theme of the inside of the shop, it is a pleasant experience. The Japanese custom of paying attention to detail and caring for each coffee bean, much like sushi when it comes to rice, is surely not lost here. I am an impatient person, but I actually enjoy waiting here for my beans to be roasted. The black coffee is so good, it reminds me of my time in Japan.“

“Great coffee and chai! My husband and I stopped in while visiting our kids in the area. Adorable place and some of the coffee we have had. He had the Vietnamese Iced Coffee and I had an iced dirty chai. We loved them both. We will be back any time we are in town!“

“I recently stopped by Choco Bean Coffee in Mission Viejo and had a really nice experience. I ordered the hazelnut coffee, and it was smooth, flavorful, and perfectly balanced—not too sweet. I also tried one of their bagels, which was fresh and satisfying. It’s a great spot for a relaxed coffee break with simple, good-quality options. I would definitely come back again for another cup.“

“Clean and open. The coffee and smoothies are spot on. Everyone working there seems to be a bit of a “coffee nerd”. They really know their coffee! I would recommend it to anyone that prefers a higher quality coffee.“

“This is hands-down, one of my favorite coffee experiences in all of Orange County. On par with several of the cafés we went to in Tokyo, and WatchHouse in London and New York, the service the atmosphere and most importantly the coffee were nearly without peer. The staff is courteous, but the wait for coffee is maddeningly long, often 30 to 45 minutes.“
“Really friendly, knowledgeable staff here! Came in to buy a box of coffee pods and the experience was wonderful. The barista bar and complimentary coffee station were a great and unexpected touch, too.
To note, the nice lady in front asked what we came in to do (purchase, browse, etc) and we let her know, but she didn't ask for any information from us beyond that.“
