“You can always expect to have a fabulous time at Haidilao. While this chain can be more expensive than normal for hot pot, you will always know what you're getting when dining at Haidilao - high-quality, consistent, and above-average hot pot. It's like the Din Tai Fung of hot pot, and most folks would tend to agree. It's beloved for good reason.

I would suggest going with a large group, as you'll have the opportunity to try more dishes than you normally would if you had gone with a smaller group of 2 or so. Plus, it's always more fun in a larger group, in my opinion. Additionally, I definitely recommend being careful not to over-order, as it happens more often than not. Remember: You can always order more later!

I've been to Haidilao twice now and I definitely would add this to my roster of easy, group-friendly dinner ideas if you're looking for soup during a cold winter night (or any night, for that matter).

“Came here after work for a little solo date night and it was perfect! I started with a happy hour glass of wine and a side of their olives while I read, which was such a nice way to unwind. I ended up staying for dinner and ordered the seasonal tofu curry bow, which was divine and bursting with flavor. To top it all off, I treated myself to their matcha chocolate cake, and it was the perfect sweet ending. Cozy vibes, great food, and a perfect spot to relax solo or with friends!“

“This is the first time I have ever been to one of the Bacari locations. This one, in Sherman Oaks, is excellent. My daughter, Lauren, picked this restaurant. I was surprised, because Lauren usually picks out more expensive restaurants.

Bacari is a tapas type restaurant. The prices are reasonable because the portions, and the plates, are small. They recommended ordering three plates per person.

We ordered one plate for each of us and a Margarita pizza to share. The pizza was excellent. I had the Bacari burger. It was amazing. My wife had sea bass, and our daughter had a filet. We all enjoyed our meals.

Service was prompt, friendly, and efficient. In this restaurant, they bring out each plate as it's ready. That encourages people to share and socialize.

The restaurant was quite noisy inside. They have a nice little courtyard with outdoor seating. It was slightly less noisy in the outdoor courtyard.

For people who want to lose weight and still have delicious meals, I recommend Bacari Sherman Oaks.“

“Easily the best vegan ramen I’ve ever had. It has a really rich, savory broth, which is a nice change of pace since vegan broth is usually a watered down afterthought at most places. It comes fully loaded with mushrooms and hashbrowns (??!?) but you can add additional veggies or an egg if youre feeling it. Very simple menu but they execution is 1000/10!“

“Went here on a Sunday afternoon (LSOB). Parking is not easy to find on Fairfax, so you'll have to go to the residential areas.

Was greeted by the people working there. I ordered a Spicy BBQ Bacon burger with fries on the side. Food was brought pretty quick. The flavoring and quality of the burger was amazing! The BBQ sauce didn't have a kick to it, but a peppered, smokey taste that was so good. The meat was cooked to perfection with the juices of the meat blending with the sauces. The bread was nicely buttered, toasty and soft. The fries weren't anything special, but that's okay. The burger more than made up for it.

Overall, the burger was top notch. The music was vibing. The place needs a little touch up and cleaning. Otherwise, I highly recommend coming here!“

“I am vegan. When my family lived in North Hollywood Leonor's was my go to restaurant. It was one of the few restaurants that my entire family would frequent. We used to eat there before it was Leonor's (we are talking 1970s). I think in 1980s Leonor became the owner... I don't know who owns it now... if it is someone in the family or not.. however, the food is great. I miss it. It's been a while.
