“As usual, El Unico never disappoints. My husband is diabetic, and has to watch his carbs. They offered to make him a carnitas burrito in a bowl, basically the burrito minus the tortilla. We brought it home, and he used the carb friendly ones, and the El Unico fix was complete! The burritos ? a gigantic, you definitely get your money's worth. My husband has been getting food from here since the original gentleman started this place, when it was just barely a shack. I started 35 years ago, and it was barely much more than that. The food, the atmosphere, and everything else that makes a place magical, still exists here, in this place. Now, I bring my adult son, and his friends, as well. Thanks, from my family to yours, for continuing with the impeccable service, food, and family feeling that was started so many, many years ago.“

“Juan's Rotisserie Chicken is one of best chickens, but the customer service is bad. I ask for 2 burritos with fres meat the guy that makes it gave an attitude like if I was asking to give it to me for free. I end up paying for a whole chicken for fresh meat burritos“

“I really wanted to like this place, because the food was really good. A girlfriend of mine and my 9 year old son visited here on Tuesday around 4pm. We walked in, we're immediately greeted and sat in a comfy booth, noticing the very unique artwork and decor. Pros: The Cadillac Margaritas on the rocks were very good. Ordered to start the guacamole and chips, was very tasty. We shared the Main Lobster Puerto Nuevo Style, the cook level was on point, and the seasonings were delicious. Now we were told it's 2 lbs of meat, which was definitely not the case. The cost for how much meat, I would say, is not worth the price at $95 an order. My son had grilled chicken tacos that he said were good. And we all appreciated the little churro ice cream dessert I received for a special birthday surprise. Cons: On a 1-10 level of volume, the music was at a 9, for 4pm on a Tuesday, it felt like they were trying to turn the place into a dayclub. Just seemed unnecessary to have it that loud. We could barely hear each other across the table. After sitting a while listening to the music, I would absolutely never bring my son back here. A couple of songs passed as we sat, where every other word was N$gg@#, F@$k, or other explicit words. Some may not agree, but I'm only 38 and find that highly inappropriate for a restaurant. Now, if that's the ambiance you want to have in your restaurant, no argument, however, then make it a 18 and up place or post something stating children may not be the best audience for your restaurant. We even made a comment to our waiter, and he just smiled and said, "Ya, there's a lot of songs like that we play!" and walked off. Our service was definitely less than stellar with him, let me tell you. As we walked in, we stated it was our first time. Anytime we asked a question, before we could finish our question, we were cut off and met with a very dismissive, hasty response as he would be walking away as well. It felt as if we were offending him or he just had more important things to do. Their menu is very confusing, as we were trying to figure out the taco pricing (since it was Taco Tuesday). The service from our waiter, I would say, was a 1 of 10. He was not friendly (even though he smiled) his demeanor was uninviting and sometimes condescending. In the end, thankfully, we had another young lady who was taking care of us. She was very sweet and pleasant as we commented on our concerns she stated she would let the manager know. In understanding, it's not her fault, we would've told our waiter. However, he disappeared after we received our food. All in all, this place has good food, but it is not good enough for us to spend almost $200 for horrible and condescending service.“

“This place is the best tacos I’ve had in Southern California. Small hole in the wall but the best tacos. Their al pastor was marinated perfectly. Their Micheladas absolutely delicious. “Finally had the chance to check out El Agave restaurant and my only regret is not coming sooner. We were seated by the sweetest server. She was kind and courteous and gave wonderful recommendations. We started with an order of chips and salsa and the salsa was spicy and tasty! The chips were fresh and crisp. Just know that the chips and salsa although not complimentary, are worth the price. We ordered a fish burrito, a huarache de buche, fries, carnitas taco and menudo. Everything was so flavorful and delicious. The fries were so crispy and yummy. The tortillas with the menudo are made fresh. We also had the atole de maza and Champurado and both were hot and such a delight! I feel this will be our new favorite spot as we definitely want to give everything on their menu a try! If visiting Lake Elsinore, please give them a try!“

“Hands down one of the greatest restaurants in Lake Elsinore. The food and service was awesome. My mom and dad had their reception there. Not only was the staff nice. They helped us with everyone and everything. They took good care of my parents, and our friends and family. And let me tell you there was a lot of people. Everyone at Emilio’s was family to us at the end of the night! They even partied with us! 🥳 Thank you so much for everything. One more thing the food was delicious!!!!!!! We had beans, enchiladas, flautus, rice and guacamole. I wanted more round of the flautus!“

“The food is always good at this location. You can ask for the chicken to be well done, juicy or in between. Personnel are always pleasant and friendly. The restaurant can get busy, specially at the drive thru at peek hours. Dine in is OK, place is clean but it's just a basic dinner. You eat and you leave, nothing different than other Pollo Loco restaurants. Don't forget to ask for your senior or military discount. Same for first responders. They don't mind you asking.“

“I love this location. They’re always nice and greet me. Everywhere with a kiosk ignores you but they always ask if you need any assistance with it. I appreciate that they give you as many salsas as you want. I went to the menifee location and they charged me. Even the app shows $0. Foods always right and I’ll keep coming to this location.“

“Stopped by on our way to Lake Elsinore and was pleasantly surprised! We ordered two burger combos with large fries and a small drink (with free refills) and paid around $30 total—not bad at all for the portions. The burger was big, juicy, and satisfying, and the fries were crispy and delicious. There were plenty of food options on the menu, but I was more than happy with my choice. The place was clean, and we felt comfortable dining in. Great pit stop if you’re in the area and craving a solid meal!“

“Came here on Tuesday June 6th at 10PM. Whoever was working there tonight was friendly and polite. I ordered the cheesy gordita crunch and a hard taco and both were made beyond perfect. You guys were awesome tonight and the food was so well made. Thank you so much to the staff tonight.“
