It was a busy Tuesday night, I walked in and spoke to a young team member who looked to be working the takeout area. I told him the situation and with a great attitude, dropped what he was doing and got me fresh queso and made a new steak taco.

“I had charros grill cater a graduation party for 20 people this weekend. The cooks were super prompt, professional and very friendly! Tacos were big, meat was delicious and cooked fresh at my event. Salsas were amazing, rice and beans were authentic. Prices were great. I am very happy I found them! Scheduling was straightforward and communication was great leading up to the event. “Every time I walk into El Pollo Loco, Gilbert greets me by name with a warm smile. Even before I order, he already has my drink cup ready and he always makes sure I get my spicy sauce without me having to ask. It’s the little things like this that make a big difference.

“My husband and I have gone back several times staking family and friends. Sadly in this last visit I got the ceviche and they didn’t clean the shrimp so I only ate about half of it. Other than that I love it. You can see the shrimp line in the side of my plate“

“For the store being close to the corporate office…they weren’t super fast :/. Which is surprising because as a former employee of 5 years, they were always on our a$$ to get the time down and have fast service. I actually timed it and they took almost 5 minutes. Which is considered bad back when I was a manager. Sooooo double standards?? Anyways onto the real review. Food was hot and crispy. The guy forgot to give me my drink which I waited for.“

It took me a while to get it right, sometimes I made the mistake ordering wrong online or something and the staff fixed my order . Lunch time hours can be a rush for them, they offered me the lunch specials which was delicious.“
