“The best and sometimes only good gluten-free pizza in the city. The cauliflower crust pizza is delicious and the mushroom pepperoni and sausage is my very favorite. I always get great service, and they're taking baked pizzas are really inexpensive and then I always have pizza on hand at home which works cuz I'm a single person!

This intimate dining experience is a testament to ingredient-driven, technique-forward cooking, where flavors are both restrained, unpretentious, and deeply expressive. From the first bite, it was clear that Heritage excels at layering textures and flavors in unexpected ways. The meal began with an Amuse Bouche trio: a delicate prawn cracker topped with sweet Dungeness crab, a green leaf with another seafood salad that was to be eaten like a mini street taco, and balanced with the brightness and light crunch of pickled turnip. A seemingly simple couple of bites, but one that foreshadowed the precision and thoughtfulness of the courses to follow. To cleanse the palate, a mint tea infused with palo santo was served—a meditative interlude that was both refreshing and aromatic, setting the stage for the evening’s journey. The first official course, Crème Caviar, featured Russian Sturgeon Heritage Caviar and chive, a chilled preparation that was rich yet elegantly restrained. This was followed by Kanpachi Crudo, presented with carrot, ginger, and macédoine vegetables, offering a balance of clean ocean flavors against bright, vegetal undertones. Then came what I consider the star of the evening: a dish that fully captured the ethos of Heritage—Hen of the Woods Mushroom, topped in a “sunchoke stew” (crispy fried sunchoke) with fermented mushroom. For an additional $25, an indulgent shaving of black truffle took the dish to another level, transforming it into a sensory experience that evoked the deep, earthy satisfaction of foraging. The interplay of umami-rich elements made this course a masterpiece of textural and flavor contrast. The proteins that followed were executed with equal care. First, a perfectly prepared Rainbow Trout, sauted to perfection with a crispy layer of skin on one side, delicate pink flesh on the other, bathed in a delicate dashi and punctuated with bursts of smoked trout roe in a light creme sauce, which lent salinity and depth. Then, a 32-day dry-aged rib chop, a cut that can sometimes lean too “gamey” in the tradiinal steak house that cuts corners on a post aging trim, yet here was a revelation—tender, deeply beefy, but balanced. “For about 20 years I've been visiting P.F. Changs wherever I travel. I've come to expect excellent service, creative precisely prepared unique meals. Cerritos was no exception. This was my second visit to this site and the atmosphere, staff and restaurant meets Chang's standards that I've come to expect. Started with short ribs with dry rub. First time for that preparation and it was wonderful as was the rest of the meal. Staff was attentive, prompt and friendly. If you happen to be near, I highly recommend it.“

“I came to this plaza today because I had to take a class over the weekend here and I'm happy I was stumbled upon this pretty sweet Thai spot. The atmosphere was chill and the service was pretty friendly. I got the khao soi chicken and it was quite tasty, tender chicken, thick noodles and crispy noodles, what's not to love. I was almost tempted to order some rice to soak up more of that awesome gravy. If I was in the area I would come back again.“

“Wow, wow, wow! I've been meaning to come to this place, and I finally got the chance to go for my birthday. My bestie and I both ordered the Yamasaki Set. It was truly worth every penny! During our meal, I texted my husband that "we had to come back, so he can have the same experience that I did." It was THAT good. Our set starts off with the seafood salad (came with little white fishies, scallops, and salmon sashimi, 5 pc sashimi (smoked albacore, halibut, tuna, kanpachi, and ankimo), 3 piece nigiri (salmon, hotate, and yellowtail), 1 toro handroll, another 3 piece nigiri (mackerel, blue fin tuna, amberjack), miso soup (one of the better miso soups I've ever had since it was more rich), 1 blue crab handroll, then finish with a otoro and uni nigiri. I'm sure some pieces tend to change, but this is what we received. OMG! This was all that I wanted for my birthday. Everything was truly amazing! I'm already thinking about going back asap! “Awesome Chile rellenos the only issue I had was a bit pricey for what I actually got my girlfriend loved it we actually went back for more two days later we asked for chips and salsa I got a nice big bag with a large container of salsa so all in all a nice place to visit I just wish it was a little less than almost $20.00 for 2 Chile rellenos with some lettuce on the side and pico de gallo still ok once in a while but if you have the budget then yes I do recommend this place as a nice way to spend a nice evening with someone special dating etc.“

I ordered a birthday cake for my sister with a ton of food allergies, and whoever I spoke to on the phone (wish I still had her name!) was really helpful with all my questions double checking if the cake would be safe for her. Everything is very thoroughly labeled, and very delicious. The cake was super rich and tasty, and my sister grabbed a bunch of assorted pastries while we were picking up the order (the cake is down a strawberry in the front and no raspberry thumbprint cookies pictured because she ate both as soon as we were in the car.) The bread was nice and soft and came with mayo lettuce and tomatoes. The sandwhich also comes with a side to which I got the macaroni which was nice and creamy. Sandwiched and side totaled 15.50$ I also threw in some bbq chips for a 1.25$ more total came out to 16.75 which felt was pretty decent. I would definitely recommend Lascaris to anyone looking for fresh yummy Italian food.“

I love food that nourishes you and doesn’t make you feel like you’re going to have a food coma, and this place definitely satisfies that. I got the chicken mixed bowl, slow roasted chickpeas & potatoes, and a dark chocolate cashew pudding. Yum! FYI, Ben’s Fast Food is at a “food locker” location - it’s decently easy to find and the pick-up process is simple. I definitely recommend this place and I plan to order from here more! In my opinion what makes this spot good is the type of coffee you get. Im no coffee expert but the taste you get is what I call "classic". That straight up coffee taste you know and love. Everywhere else I go tend to favor the more funky natural process coffees. I love a good funky espresso. But to find this flavor profile in a coffee shop around here, or in LA in general is pretty uncommon.

Walk to the left of the canopy and walk up the stairs to the "will call" office. Knock on the door until someone answers. They will walk you to the bakery where you can choose and pay for your bread. They take cash and cards. Excellent bread at great prices. I paid $5 for a large loaf of sourdough bread. Would definitely recommend!“

“My husband and I had sweet traders provide a small cutting cake and dessert station for our wedding of 160+ guests. Working with them was extremely simple and the desserts were amazing! We did a quick cake tasting to pick our small cake and were able to taste some of the desserts for our dessert station. They had a ton of options, so it was hard to narrow it down because they were all so good! I received so many compliments about the dessert on our wedding day and they portioned everything really well. We even had some left overs which we were able to share with family and bring home after the wedding! We were also able to rent a cake stand, dessert stands and were are so glad we did because the arrangements were beautifully displayed and we didn’t even have to think about it on our wedding day. Sweet Traders even includes an anniversary cake and we are so looking forward to it next year! I couldn’t recommend Sweet Traders more and know that you will be in the best hands. With so much love, a very happy bride/newlywed :) <3“
