“This was our first experience at Tavola Rustica. We thoroughly enjoyed celebrating Valentine's Day there. The Italian food was delicious. We plan to visit this restaurant again.”

“My fiancée and I adore this place. We visit wine country half a dozen times a year and always make a point to stop here. Everything is super fresh and delicious. A side salad with your choice of meat is more than enough. Grab a bottle of the crazy good rose and an extra dipping sauce for the Greek fries and you’ll be set.”

“Kitchen-made gyoza not from a box; fresh-grilled Unagi and just honest home-style Japanese food from a local family-owned restaurant. Doesn't get much better than this!”

“Really enjoyable American Chinese restaurant with all the classics. Green beans with meat (we got chicken) was the win for us. Also quite nice wonton soup with egg.”

“I was impressed by the freshness of all the ingredients, nori, fish, rice. I could not pay more but I was still hungry so I went another sushi place. There I got full, but the taste at Keiko is why you pay more. The authentic Japanese restaurant seems like it has died, as the cost of doing business is severe. There is no Japanese mood, Japanese chefs, but a few places have Japanese head waitresses. It is not the same as eating sushi in the old days. Nothing truly Japanese about sushi, served by Latinos, with classic jazz. Keiko is closer to authentic. Closer, expensive, still not really Japanese. Amerkatasdeska…”

“Internos isn’t just a bar—it’s a place that feels like home. It’s where friends gather, where familiar faces always seem to circle back, and where the atmosphere is as warm as it is welcoming. The heart of it all is Tony. He’s one of the kindest people you’ll ever meet, and his genuine warmth makes every visit special. Honestly, I’d come back just to chat with him, but the drinks alone would keep me returning too. The beer list is excellent—great options on tap plus a thoughtful selection of cans—and the wines cover the full spectrum, so there’s something for everyone. It’s our favorite spot, hands down.”

“Miso soup was good; not super flavorful but at least not overly salty like so many. Donburi was served in a flat plate with protein on top, rather than in the traditional bowl. I like the change; easier to get a mixed chopstick full of protein and rice. There is a lovely outdoor space where you could enjoy watching the bike path traffic but unfortunately it was not usable during my visit due to yellow jackets.”

“It was an amazingly flavourful brunch that my husband I shared for his birthday. We have both visited places in Los Angeles as well as Vancouver, Canada and this place is 2nd to none! A must check out! We will be back David and the crew! Cheers Aaryan and Nadya”

“Very high quality sushi. Been multiple times and always consistent. Service can sometimes be spotty, but they try and are nice. All the nigiri is good and this is the best place around.”

“Had an amazing experience at Frankie & Jo’s this weekend. Incredible customer service and super helpful on letting me know what is in the ice cream and detailed on how the flavors taste like. The employee who helped me out was Lara and she was very nice, patient, and great with kids. Highly recommend this place to anyone in the area either visiting or a local resident.”

“The best cappuccino in Marin hands down! Been going there for years -- the service has been consistently excellent and the pastries and cakes are quintessential Italian delicacies! Gary and Jeannie Rulli are the dedicated hands-on proprietors -- wonderful people and a blessing to our Larkspur community🥰!”
“Fantastic tea and I’ve really only scratched the surface at R of T. I’ve been drinking the Cinnamon Cardamom tea for over 20 years and now buy the bulk 250 bag count. Perfect for in the evenings and before bed when a caffeinated hot beverage would otherwise keep a person awake.
The flavor is unmatched as I’m certain their other flavors must be.”

“I come here sometimes it’s very good histories and overrated for because it’s very good but also located and a very good place and mostly I will give it a fly but today I’ll give it a floor because the varieties of pastries you could choose from there are not a lot”

“Food is pretty average. Not too many options nearby, so it does fulfill Thai food cravings once in a while. Little pricey for the quantity. The sauce in the pumpkin curry was way too watery! Would skip that dish! The price is certainly for the location, not for the food. For better quality and reasonable price a little drive south or even downtown San Rafael would be a better option.”

“The classic cheesesteak sandwhoch was really good. The staff was friendly. The only suggestion would be to paint/deep clean the interior. There are parts that look dirty but seems like a fresh coat of paint and maybe floor wax would help.”

“A variety of delights similar to Ferry Building but do have limitations on availability due to lower supply on Macaroons. A smaller store makes for tight spot if more that 2-3 people but good for pick up to go will swing by if in area and hope they have the flavor of Macaroons I look for”

“Red boy has long been our favorite pizza place around Southern Marin. The sausage they use is particularly good. Unfortunately, lately who's ever making the crust is not evening it out properly. The crust under the fillings is way too thin and most of the bread has been pushed out to the rim which is now way too fat. Hopefully it's just a temporary problem with a new pizza maker learning the craft, but we did not enjoy eating big gobs of bread the last two times.”

“This is the archetypical old hamburger place - the kind you see in films set in the '50s - with the requisite burgers, hot dogs, soft serve cones, and fries, all pretty good. They definitely beat McDonald's, because everything's made on the spot and the prices are pretty throwback too - this, the original M&G's, takes credit cards. They've got a few modern takes of fast food on the menu too. If you're thinking of a burger in downtown Fairfax, this is the place. There's another branch of M& G's on magnolia avenue Larkspur that's cash only, and just as good.”

“Lots of choices and they have a book with specific ingredients if you have questions. Have to read carefully- things aren’t labelled vegan. Expensive but in line with how expensive the area is. Updated from previous review on 2026-01-19”

“Food was good. Onion soup- I gotta say was delicious. Flavorful broth, chunky onions with a piece of bread/cheese broiled on top. Ordered steak frites. Steak was cooked perfectly. Frites were under seasoned and didn't have the herbs as described. Hericot green beans were also cooked perfectly. Apple crisp dessert was delicious, not too sweet. Stephanie (Manager) was super friendly. The only thing they can work on is their service. We were seated and waited for about 10 min before our orders were taken, while a couple seated after us were attended too almost immediately. Another couple was told it would be about 10 min before a table opened up, a couple came in and were seated at the open table meant for the previous couple. 🤦♂️”

“"5/5 stars! Picco is hands down the best Italian spot in town! The pasta dishes are cooked to perfection, and the pizzas are crispy and flavorful. The service is top-notch, with friendly and attentive staff. Cozy atmosphere and great prices. Highly recommend the Devinci pizza and Brownie for dessert. We'll be back!"”
