“Miso soup was good; not super flavorful but at least not overly salty like so many. Donburi was served in a flat plate with protein on top, rather than in the traditional bowl. I like the change; easier to get a mixed chopstick full of protein and rice. There is a lovely outdoor space where you could enjoy watching the bike path traffic but unfortunately it was not usable during my visit due to yellow jackets.”

The heart of it all is Tony. He’s one of the kindest people you’ll ever meet, and his genuine warmth makes every visit special. Honestly, I’d come back just to chat with him, but the drinks alone would keep me returning too. The beer list is excellent—great options on tap plus a thoughtful selection of cans—and the wines cover the full spectrum, so there’s something for everyone. It’s our favorite spot, hands down.”

“Food is pretty average. Not too many options nearby, so it does fulfill Thai food cravings once in a while. Little pricey for the quantity. The sauce in the pumpkin curry was way too watery! Would skip that dish! The price is certainly for the location, not for the food. For better quality and reasonable price a little drive south or even downtown San Rafael would be a better option.”

A side salad with your choice of meat is more than enough. Grab a bottle of the crazy good rose and an extra dipping sauce for the Greek fries and you’ll be set.”

“Fantastic tea and I’ve really only scratched the surface at R of T. I’ve been drinking the Cinnamon Cardamom tea for over 20 years and now buy the bulk 250 bag count. Perfect for in the evenings and before bed when a caffeinated hot beverage would otherwise keep a person awake.
The flavor is unmatched as I’m certain their other flavors must be.”

“Our fav goto weekend morning to afternoon stop and aby day meetup place for friends. Across the street from Larkspur Ferry for public transport or convenient parking on site. The hardest thing is DECIDING what to order, everything is that good.”

“Always stop here when at the Mart. They don’t have a cake case but you can order the day before for pick up. Love their candy wall. And the macarons are life changing.”

“El Huarache Loco is an absolute gem! Everything we've tried here is high quality and delicious. Our favorites are the steak tacos, huaraches, and chilaquiles. The atmosphere is wonderful and it's become a gathering place for our entire family to enjoy the food and each other's company. Highly recommend!”
