“It was an amazingly flavourful brunch that my husband I shared for his birthday. We have both visited places in Los Angeles as well as Vancouver, Canada and this place is 2nd to none! A must check out! We will be back David and the crew! Cheers Aaryan and Nadya“

“Our fav goto weekend morning to afternoon stop and aby day meetup place for friends. Across the street from Larkspur Ferry for public transport or convenient parking on site. The hardest thing is DECIDING what to order, everything is that good.“
“Between my wife and me we ate four of the turkey baguettes and a mocha. The sandwiches were tasty and a cut above deli fare but certainly didn't justify a $10 price for each sandwich. A quaint place but don't bring your appetite.“

“I love this place. This is my second time eating at this cafe. I got the beef empanada and peanut butter Acai. The drip over coffee was strong (which is what I was looking for). There are many other things I hope to try on the menu in the future.“

“Had a great experience at Maison Nico today! I ordered a Pain au Chocolat and matcha, and both exceeded my expectations. The Pain au Chocolat was beautifully made - so light and delicate with those perfect flaky, crispy layers on top that you expect from a well-crafted pastry.
What really stood out was their matcha. Finally found a place that serves it the proper way - no added sugar at all! It's refreshing to taste the pure, earthy flavor of quality matcha instead of the overly sweet versions you get at most cafes.
I was fortunate to walk in without a line, but within several minutes there was a steady stream of customers forming a queue. That's always a good sign that locals know this place is worth the wait. The quality of their pastries and attention to authentic preparation definitely shows. Will be back to try more items!“

“5/5! Would come back again and smile about it :) great atmosphere, friendly staff, plants aplenty, yummy food, and even a little corner with trinkets for purchase. I got the veggie sandwich and would recommend! I tried the yuzu latte as well but don’t think it’s a good choice- if you love yuzu, find a yuzu lemonade or a drink where it’s not mixed with coffee. I was hoping it’d be a light drink to highlight the yuzu but it pretty much just tasted like coffee with a hint of yuzu (you’ll really need to stir up the drink to taste even that hint). I think it was a cool idea to include a trendy flavor in a latte but it doesn’t let the yuzu shine. It wasn’t bad but I just don’t think it was the best use of yuzu. I’d recommend a different drink.
Good work/study place! I’m always on the lookout for growing my list of the best spots in the city to work/study. This place is a medium sized cafe- not too cramped but not large. A fair amount of seating with good lighting, wifi, and outlets. Bathroom open without key needed.“

“Very nice place for breakfast with tasty food. The place gets busy on the weekends but the service crews have a system and they get orders out fast. The patio area was nice and our waiter was great. Overall good place to enjoy a great breakfast and excellent service.“

“I thought this was an ordinary around the corner boba tea shop, the store presentation and their uniqueness really surprised me. Not only did they offer Vietnamese coffee made from equator coffee, they also offered a variety of matcha for matcha lovers like me. They pretty much have everyone covered. I also like that they have the option to do 0% sweet, which is extremely important for those who are health conscious.“

“Genuine 10/10 hidden gem. I don’t say this lightly. Best soba I’ve had outside of Japan. Best value in SF hands down. And this close to Fidi? Absolutely insane. I don’t even want to write this review because I want to gatekeep this place for myself, but the cute couple running it was so kind I couldn’t help but want to show some support.“

“You can’t beat home cooking in San Francisco like this guy. It’s simple and amazing. The owner “V” demonstrates compassion on levels that are barely noticeable anymore in the public eye.
He usually has one employee/helper. And it’s an Asian woman in the back.
He’s located in the HSBC bank building directly across the transamerica pyramid.“

“Easily the best breakfast we had during our trip to SF which is why we came twice. Portions are huge and flavourful. Definitely recommend the sausage with the breakfast.
Service is immaculate and fast. Don’t think the coffees I had ever reached the bottom of the mug.
Recommend coming here even if going out of your way.“

“Cafe RX is an oasis in the Presidio. The food is fresh and delicious, the serving sizes are generous, the prices are reasonable and the staff are so friendly and kind. There’s plenty of seating inside and outdoors. Recommend ordering before noon or after 1pm to the avoid lunchtime rush. I highly recommend:
- drink: spicy chai
- lunch: nicoise salad
- breakfast: soy chorizo & eggs with toast“

“Met for a Summer Vacation lunch today with my Bestie (who has enjoyed CAVIAR COMPANY before on several occasions). We are both teachers, so our downtime events need to feel extra special. Svetlana (Our AMAZING Server) made certain that we were treated to the perfect experience. Knowledgable about the food/wining pairings, but also beyond passionate about her joy for caviar/champagne. Menu prices might appear high, but you can mix and match items and share plates. EXTRAORDINARY!!“

“A very charming café with a cozy atmosphere. You can even sit upstairs, and the girls at the counter were very friendly. The pastries were delicious, and it’s convenient that they accept credit cards. There’s seating both inside and outside, which is great. However, the only downside is that people are constantly smoking on their outdoor patio, and the smoke drifts inside. Unfortunately, I had to leave quickly because sitting in the smoke was unpleasant. I walked by the café a few more times afterward, and every time, someone was smoking outside.“

“Great coffee great service most of the time. People working there need to learn to communicate and let customers know when they are backed up so when they make an order, they understand how long it will take instead of letting them know after the fact.“

“Accidentally stumbled into this cafe, while waiting for our pizzas to cook in a nearby restaurant. This cafe transport you back to the last century. The decor is very 1960s. The space itself is huge though and has plenty of seats. They also have an outdoor area which is nice on a sunny day. Unfortunately, they don’t accept any form of digital payment, but only cash, but thankfully, they had an ATM on the premises because we did not have any cash. The ATM machine is very expensive, though. I got a regular vanilla latte while my friend got the hazelnut latte, and both of them were pretty good. Was this the best coffee I ever had? No. What is this and perfectly acceptable cup of coffee? Yes. I also had the lemon cake, which was very flavourful, but tad bit expensive. This is a cool place to visit if you’re in the neighbourhood.“

“This is a good lunch spot for FiDi. Sandwiches are $12.50-$14. Salads are $10-$11. Prices on their website are outdated. My sandwich , the LLB special $12.50 was roast beef, turkey, ham, swiss, provolone on dutch crunch, was alright. The New England Clam Chowder $8.50 was chunky and not filled all the way up. That tasted OK as well. Friendly service for a counter style restaurant. Kitchen was fast taking account they were busy. I was pretty full afterwards.“

“10 stars!!!! The owners were so incredibly friendly, warm and welcoming, and the Hong Kong milk tea was soothing and delicious. Prices are very reasonable (especially since the portion was very large for the drink size), and the taste felt clean and fresh. Highly recommend! Can’t wait to go back again!“
“It is not super easy to find a vegetarian sandwich that is substantial, but the eggplant sandwich delivered. I really liked the type of bread roll that they used, it held up perfectly. Great flavors all around. I look forward to coming back for another great vegetarian lunch!“

“Ok.. I just hit the jackpot with this Cafe'. I have been craving a hot pastrami sandwich for the longest time thinking the only place to satisfy my craving will be in New York until I gave Sweet Joanna’s a try. I was lucky to be there when one of the owners, Mr. Zaro, took my order and confidently assured me that their sandwiches are the best. He was not lying. I got the best looking layered sandwich of pastrami, cheese, pastrami, avocado, pastrami lettuce and tomatoes on a warm Dutch crunch. I had to take a photo of this master piece to post here. I was in heaven when I took the first bite. The bread, the cheese and pastrami were heated first, explained Mr. Zaro, then the other fixings were added. That way you get an amazing crunchy bread with warm pastrami, melted cheese and the fresh veggies. This place will be my first stop when I am in San Francisco. It is clean with friendly staff and a great service.“

“Very good food and donuts. I have not complained. I seldom ever walk the Marina front but this coffee is phenomenal. Dont skip it up. S/O to Alexa and the other Barista for their exemplary and selfless work.
I'm not sure how long it will be here, it will probably be another 5-10 years I think before it gets relocated, so don't pass it up.“

“French toast/egg/sausage meal with mango smoothie was light and delicious. First time here was great. The lady working was very sweet. I saw a man enjoying his breakfast sandwich, another walk in and out with coffee, and a woman pick up her to-go order. Nice place ?“
“The best. Fast, super tasty breakfast sandwiches and burritos, and delicious chai. Oh and they always give your dog a treat! A bonus is that when you tip them they profusely thank you, like much more than I would expect. I always tip but I do appreciate when it is acknowledged, and they always do!“

“A True American Dream... i have been going to this place for about 4 yrs now but during the Pandemic in 2020 realized that it was one of the only place open and serving the people around the neighborhood. Not only a few days ago when i decided to ask who owns it and found out that a Guatemalan brothers took over the place when the elderly owner gave it up came Pandemic.. one of the brother was the guy who started in the kitchen almost 20yrs or so ago and here he is can proudly say its my American dream. i know i dont have to say anymore as i look back and see the potential this place had location wise for example. That is the reason iam giving them a 5star and will make sure as long as iam gonna be around the neighborhood, i will put this place on tbe map to a state where people will wanna come to San Francisco and visit it for a bottle water or just a cuppa tea.... Its has so many attractions near by and the history of North Beach that goes with it...Iam so digging this place alot and for someone that can afford to sit in any restaurant or cafe in SF or anywhere in the world, this place has made me realised that there is still hope in this country cause people like the new owners are the ones that makes things possible in a country soooooo broken and a city so damaged like San Francisco.. Here iam pleading for people that will read this.. please when u visit this place at least keep an open mind.. look beyond the people that smile and wake up sooo early to come work because of customers like us. Only until we put ourselves in their shoes than we will be able to make a world a better place... 5star it is for me ???
Vegetarian options: Their wide variety of menu can always be ordered meatless.
Kid-friendliness: theres always kids around“
“Such a hidden gem in this neighborhood! I had an hour to kill between meetings and K Five Fifty had plenty of open space to work and grab a tea. The owner is super friendly and welcoming, a rare thing in SF these days. Will definitely be back!“

“We stumbled upon UpforDayz early at 6:30am, wrapped in the chill of San Francisco’s summer fog, and were greeted with warmth—both in service and spirit. The friendly couple running the place went above and beyond, crafting a simple yet thoughtful breakfast despite limited gluten-free and dairy-free options. Boiled eggs for my husband and a comforting fruity oatmeal bowl for me—small gestures that made a big impact.
The bakery smelled divine, and the ambiance was relaxed and inviting, just what you’d hope for in a neighborhood café. A hidden gem for early risers looking for heartwarming service and a cozy bite. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️“

“I went in the early afternoon and there were still 3-5 types of vegan muffins. It looked like they were all cornmeal based. I got the apricot one, which tasted mostly like a regular corn muffin. Even though the apricot wasn't prominent, I still enjoyed it and would like to try the others.“
