“Was packed with people. Bustling and noisy. Our busboy was not good. Threw our glasses of water at us! Very bizarre. Table got wet. Our waitress on the other hand, was wonderful. “This is a classic diner, locally owned with a big menu and a very solid breakfast. The shakes are old school with the chocolate shakes made with chocolate ice cream. There is very little turn over in the friendly staff which makes me think the owners try to do right by them. Given its aesthetic, there have also been a few movies filmed here including most recently, Wolfs, with George Clooney and Brad Pitt. The booth is marked.“

“I just ate here for my birthday on Saturday. I have been to Belize and this food took me right back there. The owner Leslie, is from Belize and is very friendly and attentive, as his the staff. Phenomenal food, and large portions. Get the sampler platter for your appetizer, you won't be disappointed. I highly recommend this restaurant. If you are ever in Gardena, you should stop here. Gardena Cinema is a few blocks away, and is also fantastic. The restaurant closes at 7pm, and most shows start at 7:30, so it makes for the perfect evening.“

“We visited this place just to check it out as they're opening a location on PCH and have never been before even though we frequent Slice'n'Pint down the street.

We had a patty melt, fries, onion rings & a tuna melt. After being charged, I went to leave a tip and the cashier said something I couldn't catch. Then I realize she was saying there were two separate tip jars: one for service and one for the cook. Thought it was a bit odd but sure, so, I split tip into both.

My wife didn't like her tuna melt, as it apparently was missing the melt part. My patty melt was decent: nothing to write home about. Between the fries and the onion rings, I think fries were the better choice. The onions rings needed more seasoning.

It's a decent counter burger but nothing that stands out. Just feels like one of those places where you can grab food- nothing to really excite you about coming back. The staff is very friendly and I can see how this is a solid joint for a neighborhood.“

“THE SERVICE.
First off, when i went to Beckett's at the LAX Hyatt, I was warmly greeted (by a specific gentleman) as soon as I walked in. Upon me mentioning I was doing takeout, I was still treated as if I were dining in.
A really cool guy named Marcus, was my server and he was so sweet and genuinely kind. He answered ALL of my little probing questions about the menu and he didn't get annoyed.
Marcus was very professional and knowledgeable about the menu.
He forgot my BBQ sauce 😄 but I'll still come back, just because of his wonderful service!!

THE FOOD.
I ordered the Veggie Medly flatbread and a Veggie burger nad fries (i wish the fries were krinkle-cut).
They both were delicious.
The flatbread was actually a little bigger than I'd imagine and I could've actually just ordered THAT alone. You get a cool amount of food for the price.“

“Came here for breakfast while traveling in Washington. Establishment seems to be well managed and well maintained. Matthew was our server and did an excellent job of taking care of us. We ordered the Breakfast Sampler, which I believe used to be called the Grand Slam. It came with two eggs, three meats, hash browns, and buttermilk pancakes. Breakfast of champions! We were quite satisfied when we left to hit the road to Forks, WA. We would definitely return if we were ever in the area.“
