“I ordered the Hawaiian BBQ Mix and overall I’d give it a 3.9/5.
The meat is medium to low quality, but it’s well seasoned and cooked properly.
The chicken was the highlight: juicy and full of flavor 👌

The portions are generous, which I appreciate, although it felt a bit pricey for the quality.
The place is simple, nothing special in terms of atmosphere, but it gets the job done.
The service was excellent: fast and very friendly, a 100 👏

“Worth the flight and drive out. The closest thing to Hawaiian poke (if you’ve had it before). Quality of the fish is awesome, ingredients super fresh, service amazing. Quantity is bountiful. Not a lot of space to sit and eat there but it’s perfect for a car picnic or drive it down to the beach.“

It is a hole in the wall type place with Hawaiian style poke & other Hawaiian dishes.
I had the sweet & spicy ahi and salmon combination with rice, and it was excellent, in my opinion. Also, the service was quick and really friendly.

“Definitely the place to be on Sunday fun day! If you miss home in Hawaii, you'll feel like you are home not just because of the ono food but the incredibly courteous and caring staff. I drove up from Orange County and, the moment I walked in, I was greeted with an ALOHA and watched the place get packed. It was a perfect place to meet up with friends! Spam & eggs with rice for breakfast hit the spot. Malasadas are fresh and warm! Then they added live musicians playing Hawaiian music and I didn't want to leave. “The fried shrimp is absolutely fantastic. Lightly breaded and good size shrimps . I Loved their special sauces as well . Also we got the teriyaki steak it was tender and they have great teriyaki sauce . The staff was very nice and helpful. Would highly recommend“

The dishes are not expensive and they are vast.

“Tasty Hawaiian in El Segundo offers delicious, well-seasoned, and flavorful dishes. We ordered the Loco Moco, Garlic Chicken and Chicken Katsu. The staff was pleasant and friendly, making the experience enjoyable. The decor and dining area are very nice, though it does get quite cold inside, so bring a sweater or jacket if you plan to dine in. They also have a wide variety of Ling Hing snacks, which is a nice bonus. Overall, a great spot with tasty food and a welcoming atmosphere.“

“15+ years and this is the only L&L location I’ll go to. Located at Torrance Crossroads, easy to find, easy to park.

The owners and staff are the best here. What can I say, they’re always super welcoming and friendly, service is quick and accommodating.

Food-wise, you really can’t go wrong with any of their options, it’s perfect for any occasion. We’ve ordered their catering options as well for parties (half, full, etc.) and everyone loves it.

Price to portion ratio is excellent, especially the portions are very generous. We tend to always take it for take-out and one thing we always get is the mini chicken katsu plate with double macaroni. The mini is a lot, I’ll have leftovers for another meal. Crispy chicken katsu with the delicious sauce. The macaroni is great to pair with the katsu.

The bbq mix plate is delicious as well, the proteins (chicken, been and short rib kalbi) is well marinated with lots of flavor. I don’t think I even need any extra sauce with them. I do prefer the chicken over the beef, but I’m biased and not the biggest of fan of bulgogi style beef.

Other items I’ve enjoyed on their menu include spam musubi, pineapple chicken and the mahi mahi.

There’s really a lot of options. It’s a quick dining option with quality food.“

I saw the name of the company I was told to go to, so I jumped out and ran over to a man close to it, and he notified me that the food service vehicle he was in was where I was to pick up the food I was there to pick up for their customer. He was so very, very helpful to me that I was thankful to have stopped at the right place. I must say that the person I told I would pick it up for loved and enjoyed the food a lot. “Went here with my mother on Friday, September 12, 2025. They have so many delicious looking selections! My mother decided to get the Hawaiian BBQ Trio. It is $15.99 plus taxes. You are provided three different types of meat- pork, beef and chicken and macaroni and rice. I chose the fried rice. It was $13.99 plus taxes. They only advertise the Shrimp Fried Rice and since I'm not a Shrimp fan I asked if I could substitute it for a different meat. The attendant said sure would you like beef or chicken. I opted for the beef. She said no problem and substituted the meat for no extra charge. The food came out very hot within 10 minutes! They also provide bar-b-que sauce for each meal, napkins and forks. We both thought that our food tasted really good. We would definitely go back.“

“One of my favorite Ono locations. Excellent, friendly service and they always greet you when you enter the restaurant. Delicious food, everything from Fish/Shrimp Aloha plates that have wonderful salad and plenty of rice. I love the 'hot' dipping sauce, it's not spicy, it just means 'hot' that it's dispensed warm. I also love the perfectly crispy Katsu Chicken, and the flavorful Bar-B-Q chicken is seasoned perfectly. Occasional coupons in both mail and via email makes for an amazing deal too.“
