“I ordered the Hawaiian BBQ Mix and overall I’d give it a 3.9/5.
The meat is medium to low quality, but it’s well seasoned and cooked properly.
The chicken was the highlight: juicy and full of flavor 👌

The portions are generous, which I appreciate, although it felt a bit pricey for the quality.
The place is simple, nothing special in terms of atmosphere, but it gets the job done.
The service was excellent: fast and very friendly, a 100 👏

“This poke is a class above all of the other shops, even in Hawaii. I think what makes them stand out is their sauces - every poke shop these days has good fresh tuna, but the flavors on this are just so good. The cucumbers are also a favorite of ours.“

“Last week I was traveling through LA on my way to Santa Barbara. I had some time to kill so I looked up Poke. Came across this amazing place! I am admittedly new to Poke. The staff took good care of me and I wound up having such a hard decision. I think the spicy Poke might have been might absolute favorite. “We found this place by of chance needing to use the bathroom whilst walking around Venice and what a great find. Staff are lovely and welcoming and attended to us well. The place was very clean and the food was just right and so tasty. I will be returning when I visit again.“

“Definitely the place to be on Sunday fun day! If you miss home in Hawaii, you'll feel like you are home not just because of the ono food but the incredibly courteous and caring staff. I drove up from Orange County and, the moment I walked in, I was greeted with an ALOHA and watched the place get packed. It was a perfect place to meet up with friends! Spam & eggs with rice for breakfast hit the spot. Malasadas are fresh and warm! Then they added live musicians playing Hawaiian music and I didn't want to leave. Highly recommend and plan to return again!“

“Food is great. Its a little whole in the wall. Interior is average, bit the food is delicious. Katsu and beef combo great. Dumplings great. The Teri beef at other places can be kind of fatty, it was lean and clean. The appearance of the restraunt does not do the food justice. Its our new go to in Torrance, beats our old favorite Island Hut. Sauces including chicken salad dressing are great. Not fancy just good. Grab some and head to the beach.“

“I got the torta cubana and my girlfriend got the Suiza because she’s vegetarian. We both really enjoyed our food. Great experience. Only complaint is that they ONLY ACCEPT CASH. It’s 2026…set up a Venmo/PayPal or something. The atmosphere is nothing to rave about. I was going to give them 4 stars because of the cash issue but my girlfriend really wanted me to give them 5 stars so here we are.“

“Cherrystones catered my brother's celebration of life memorial last Sunday at the Toyota Meeting Hall in Torrance. We were about 120 people. The food and presentation was excellent. We opted for the Kalua Pork and the Teriyaki chicken, both delicious. Loved the broccoli salad and Mac salad. Our guests raved about the food. Cherrystones catered my dad's memorial in 2016 and the food was excellent then. I would not hesitate to use them again if I needed a catering service. Thank you Cherrystones for doing my brother proud.“

“I tried this place for the first time today, and I am very happy I did.
It is a hole in the wall type place with Hawaiian style poke & other Hawaiian dishes.
I had the sweet & spicy ahi and salmon combination with rice, and it was excellent, in my opinion. Also, the service was quick and really friendly.
I plan on coming back soon!“

“Very friendly staff! They are always very nice and friendly. The food is delicious and you get large servings compared to other places! The atmosphere is great! Sometimes it gets a little busy, but their service is very fast! Love eating there!“

“There’s certain l&l’s that are great out of all the ones I’ve been to this one is third in my book.
The only thing I eat all the time is chicken katsu curry so that’s what I base my review on.
I got the regular size and as always it was a lot of food enough for two people or two meals.

“The menu is small but very focused. It became very apparent why because as we eating da Ono grindz, we saw how busy you got. By the time we were all pau, everyone was served! “Closest thing to Zippys with better seasoning and portions of meat I've found. While not exactly a plate lunch as it's not traditionally in the styrofoam it closely represents zippys with higher quality when compared to fare back home. U gotta navigate yourself here since it's in a food hall in a corporate park but free parking helps. Everything is reasonably priced and they have a wide selection especially with their garlic chicken and Portuguese sausage which is hard to find at most places. Solid place that I don't mind returning to just wish they had more locations in oc but I get it.“

The chicken katsu on garlic noodles was a knockout - the chicken was incredibly crispy and flavorful, and the noodles were perfectly garlicky and addictive. “Incredibly top-of-the-food-chain grade wings from Banh Mi Cafe. Lemon pepper and Thai Chilli flavored ones were Chef’s kiss. Truly a blissful experience. The Garlic Soy Sauce Spring Rolls were not deep fried, more Summer Roll. That one was a sad emoji face. But the Wings overpowered the disappointment of the spring rolls.“
