“Worth the flight and drive out. The closest thing to Hawaiian poke (if you’ve had it before). Quality of the fish is awesome, ingredients super fresh, service amazing. Quantity is bountiful. Not a lot of space to sit and eat there but it’s perfect for a car picnic or drive it down to the beach.“

“I tried this place for the first time today, and I am very happy I did.
It is a hole in the wall type place with Hawaiian style poke & other Hawaiian dishes.
I had the sweet & spicy ahi and salmon combination with rice, and it was excellent, in my opinion. Also, the service was quick and really friendly.

“Definitely the place to be on Sunday fun day! If you miss home in Hawaii, you'll feel like you are home not just because of the ono food but the incredibly courteous and caring staff. I drove up from Orange County and, the moment I walked in, I was greeted with an ALOHA and watched the place get packed. It was a perfect place to meet up with friends! Spam & eggs with rice for breakfast hit the spot. Malasadas are fresh and warm! Then they added live musicians playing Hawaiian music and I didn't want to leave. “This is my to go to place for chicken teriyaki plate because the chicken is always tender and food is very fresh. The cabbage salad is one the the best crunchiest salads. I love going to this hole in the wall restaurant. I hope it keeps the same recipes and healthy food. “The plaza is nice and clean, with very good ventilation that helps not to mix food odors.

The dishes are not expensive and they are vast.

Today I have the combo with 2 proteins and the shrimps were sooo good, the teriyaki chicken was ok. The fried rice was great but a little bit too oily for me.“

“Tasty Hawaiian in El Segundo offers delicious, well-seasoned, and flavorful dishes. We ordered the Loco Moco, Garlic Chicken and Chicken Katsu. The staff was pleasant and friendly, making the experience enjoyable. The decor and dining area are very nice, though it does get quite cold inside, so bring a sweater or jacket if you plan to dine in. They also have a wide variety of Ling Hing snacks, which is a nice bonus. Overall, a great spot with tasty food and a welcoming atmosphere.“

“15+ years and this is the only L&L location I’ll go to. Located at Torrance Crossroads, easy to find, easy to park.

The owners and staff are the best here. What can I say, they’re always super welcoming and friendly, service is quick and accommodating.

Food-wise, you really can’t go wrong with any of their options, it’s perfect for any occasion. We’ve ordered their catering options as well for parties (half, full, etc.) and everyone loves it.

Price to portion ratio is excellent, especially the portions are very generous. We tend to always take it for take-out and one thing we always get is the mini chicken katsu plate with double macaroni. The mini is a lot, I’ll have leftovers for another meal. Crispy chicken katsu with the delicious sauce. The macaroni is great to pair with the katsu.

The bbq mix plate is delicious as well, the proteins (chicken, been and short rib kalbi) is well marinated with lots of flavor. I don’t think I even need any extra sauce with them. I do prefer the chicken over the beef, but I’m biased and not the biggest of fan of bulgogi style beef.

Other items I’ve enjoyed on their menu include spam musubi, pineapple chicken and the mahi mahi.

“Well, to be honest I went to pick up a meal for someone. I tried so hard to find the building but could not. I drove around a lot, then I notice a food vehicle. I saw the name of the company I was told to go to, so I jumped out and ran over to a man close to it, and he notified me that the food service vehicle he was in was where I was to pick up the food I was there to pick up for their customer. He was so very, very helpful to me that I was thankful to have stopped at the right place. I must say that the person I told I would pick it up for loved and enjoyed the food a lot. So, now I know where to go, and I am always very impressed with excellent customer service, which I did receive there.“
