“We ordered 4 Taiyakis for only $12. Then the owner was so sweet! She offered a 5th one for free. Got our fresh Taiyakis after pager rang quickly! All flavors were great: Red bean, apple, custard cream, mango, and chocolate filling within freshly baked crunchy shells. We almost wanted to order another round if we were not on the way of leaving Little Tokyo Market. Must try again next time!

The Baja style fish taco was fine, but not nearly on the same level.

One taco was around $7, which is more of a gourmet price. But I would happily pay that for the soft shell crab taco.

Service was very impersonal. Nobody greeted me. Not a single word of hi/hola, thank you, goodbye. Nothing. You just enter your name and order on a tablet. A few moments later somebody looks and gestures at you to take your food. Sitting situation is not great. But it's a fast casual bite, so you're not there for a long time. FYI - this is a food truck and not a brick and mortar space.

I would go out of my way to eat the soft shell crab taco again. Wow, I'm still thinking about it.“

“Hey you guys I'm back with another review. Los Gatos Tacos was very much on point. Yall know I like delivery too so this time I ordered delivery. The driver did pissed me off because they sat my food in front of the door with no call or knock, but I was eyeing the app because I was hungry. It was around 730/8pm on a Saturday when I ordered. Anyway it arrived still hot and ready to eat. I spent like 60.00. I got the 3 queso birria tacos with the consome 3 asada tacos, the birria quesadilla and the tapatio birria ramen. It was so delicious you guys I dipped the tacos in the consome and it was ?... the ramen was very good the birria was seasoned very well. I almost drank all the consome ? ? had to save some for my kid, so I suggest if you like dipping and sauce like me get extra consome for sure. I will be dining in this restaurant very soon.“

“Running into Majano’s Coffee at my son’s school event felt like a little gift from the universe. His lavender latte is hands-down the best I’ve had—smooth, fragrant, and calming in all the right ways.

I didn’t expect him to remember me (I’m usually the one dashing in between meetings), but he did. That small kindness made my day. Now that my mornings are freer, I look forward to making Majano’s a more regular stop after school drop-off.

It can be a bit intimidating for people not familiar and a bit simple but the effort to prepare takes a lot. For the price, I wish it came with a side of rice or something to complement it. I really enjoyed the Tofu and Eggplant dish also. The Eggplant was super unique and cooked in a way I haven’t tried before and was very flavorful with a dark miso crust. The Corn and Sausage was unique too and presentation was pretty cool. I really enjoyed the Strawberry Shaved Ice for dessert. Great way to end!! Overall, the food is on the lighter side so if you’re looking for hearty or indulgent food this may not be the best pick.
