“Delicious! My favorite is the chile relleno, but their chile verde and chicken soup are also very good. We have always been seated right away and had great service there. Their prices are reasonable for the portion sizes. We are so happy to have this gem in Live Oak!“
“Eaten at this restaurant on a few occasions over the years, the most recently being today and last week. Both times the food was good, service was friendly and quick and prices less expensive than similar larger restaurants. Would definitely recommend.“
“Service is quick and friendly and really does feel inviting and local. I don't usually like the community but this is something I can get behind. Most local places are trash but Fernando's is cheap (affordable and then some) but so fresh and delicious and I have NEVER been disappointed. We usually get a server named Ruby, not sure if she's still there but she is so wonderful. All of the servers are great and the kitchen team kills it every meal. I love this place and hope it lasts awhile longer because it is the really only reliable place we have“
“Don't judge a book by its cover. The outside isn't very attractive, and the inside is very basic no frills. THE FOOD IS GREAT!! My wife and I enjoyed our entrées. She had Fajitas, I had a pork dish with beans and rice. Very good, authentic Mexican food. Service was prompt.“
“Ordered a Tahoe chicken burrito and two carne tacos foe me and my wife and I swear the order was here within 10mins with doordash...I was like WTPHO Babe you just placed the order 5mins ago I thought. Anyway very fast service, excellent temperature and tastes. Plenty of condiments too! Highly recommend Jimboys on Colusa YC. Best French fries too!“
“Just tried this place for my first time and it was amazing in consideration. I have had most of the Hispanic food in our area. I had a wet burrito with ground beef. They have chips and salsa. And a lot of really good authentic Mexican food.“
“Love the shrimp tacos, this has to me my favorite fast food places. The food is always fresh. The only thing I don't like is that there kids meals say they come with churros but they never do, they come with mini M&M's. The staff seems nice and they have never forgetten anything in my order,“

“El Zarape is like an oasis for vegans in the meat-laden food desert of middle America. You will enjoy the vegan options on the menu without worrying one bit. They serve three vegan filler options for almost every dish on the menu and all three are awesome. My wife’s favorite was the chili verde and the chile colorado has a nice smoky flavor to it. I got the chimichanga with vegan adobada and there aren’t words to describe how happy this meal made me feel. Awesome margaritas too. The server was so well informed on their vegan options that it made the whole dining experience a pleasure. “Service has always been good, never feel ignored. Wife loves the chicken mole. I typically get a burrito and taco or taco salad. I like a little more flavor on my food, sometimes the food, (to me, is a little bland). Nothing a little salsa or picante won't take care of.“

“I just had the best chicken burrito in Yuba city. From the quality of the meat to the balance of the ingredients in the burrito. The flavor was top notch. I got their spicy salsa and the roasted and used all of both.. I will be back for sure, highly recommend this place.“
“We stopped here on the way home from an errand. We live in Folsom so Mela's is an hour and 40 minutes from us. It's a total "hole in the wall" so we thought it might just be great. We had no idea... in the middle of his first bite, my husband said "I would drive here just for this food!" The restaurant is very modest in decor and atmosphere. The staff was very friendly; the food a standout. They don't serve chips and salsa, thank goodness because I would have been too full to finish my meal. My husband had a cheese quesadilla and a shrimp burrito. He loved both. I tasted the shrimp from his burrito which were plump, grilled perfectly, tender, and succulent. I ordered the Chicken verde plate (spicy and full of flavor) which came with rice, beans, hot sauce, and the best homemade corn tortillas! They were so good I thought they were flour tortillas at first as the corn is ground so fine you can't really tell the difference until you take a bite. I don't usually eat tortillas but I ate 2 of these to wipe my plate clean with! If you're in the area or just driving by, you must stop in and eat up!!“
“do you have a dinner or potluck coming up and don't know what to bring? come here and order the Garanion burrito. you can have one meat on each side. I go with steak and pastor everything on it. this thing is over two ft feet long. I put it on a table with a knife slices through every 3 inches. leave a spatula and everyone will marvel. fact is this place sells standard super burrito for 10each. the Garanion is $20 and has the filling of Ike 4 big burritos. 8 people can eat off this for lunch. plus if you walk in the place, they have a free chips and salsa bar you can eat in or take it home. I am a hero when I bring one to work.“
“We went for a quick lunch & enjoyed all of it. Chips and mild salsa were standard fare & nice that they were complimentary. Both ordering from their lunch menu, we tried the fish taco plate and pork tamale plate. Fish on the taco was breaded & generously heaped with veggies & a little cheese. The pork tamale was really good with nice ratio of masa and meat & flavorful. It was served with sauce and melted cheese. The beans and rice that came on the lunch plates were 'just right" portions. Found out from our server that the tamales can be ordered for take out by the dozen too. This is a good hole-in-the-wall spot for a fast meal or take-out. There are a few tables to eat-in, but my guess is they do a large % of their business as takeout.“
“Great food and breakfast burritos are delicious . if you want a 10$ taco this is not the place for you. If you want the staff to kiss your a**s this place is not for you. All you will find here is good food at good prices. I've been going here at least once every couple of weeks for a year or so and will keep going.“
