“This is my husband and I’s favorite Mexican restaurant, hands down. The best place to get lunch. Junior and his staff are fun, fast, and the food is always delicious! Great value too, and the portions are generous! We love Mi Pueblito so much that we had them cater our rehearsal dinner for our wedding. If you’re ever in Wheatland don’t pass it up!“
“I recently had an outstanding experience at this Taco Bell location, and I couldn't be happier with their service. Not only did they get our order right, but they also fulfilled a specific request for fresh potatoes without any hassle. The staff, especially Jenna at the window, was incredibly friendly, adding to the overall positive atmosphere. It's evident that they prioritize customer satisfaction here. I highly recommend this Taco Bell for their excellent service and attention to detail!“
“This was our first time visiting Los Chilangos. It had a whole new look and everything was fresh, clean, and inviting! Before it just looked dumpy! We each ordered chicken super burritos with the works. As we waited for our food we took great joy in the salsa/chip bar. I like mild salsa and fresh chips! Both were fantastic! The salsa was out of this world! Full of great flavor and the chips were warm and salted to perfection! We took our burritos home and the first bite had me hooked tight! Each bite was like a party in my mouth! Upon completion of half my burrito (they are huge), I did my happy dance! I love uncovering new spots that exceed my strict expectations! My next day leftovers were just as good! I can't wait to go back!“
“The only place around and - BONUS! - the food is great! Their chile verde is some of the best I’ve had. Prices are still very reasonable and the portions are generous. GREAT breakfast burritos (try the Spam!). Only suggestion I have would be to get rid of the clamshell containers for the burgers and fries. It makes them soggy. Recommend switching to wrapping the burgers in paper and bagging the fries (like the onion rings).“
“A really good local Mexican restaurant that’s ran out of an old house. Delicious food, good size portions, great chips, and a large selection in the salsa bar. My favorite from salsa bar is the avocado cilantro salsa! Service is fast with very kind staff! I have to say Taqueria Gonzalez is my favorite Mexican restaurant in Lincoln.Kid-friendliness: Family oriented and very friendly!“

“This is one of those places.....hidden gem!! Would definitely go back!! The fajitas (Steak &shrimp), were pretty good. Asada Fries were given a thumbs up from a teen. I would go back, staff was friendly and attentive. This place is small, not really an issue.“
“I’m a regular here and this review is long over due. Nothing but amazing things to say from this restaurant. The food is delicious! I’d recommend the super burrito and super nacho (that’s all I ever get). Very reasonably priced as well. Again, you shouldn’t be leaving this place left hungry. The ladies/servers who work there are very nice and welcoming. The cooks in the back are always doing an amazing job getting the food quickly ready. I’ll always continue to support El Portal Taqueria and I encourage everyone to do so as well.“
“I've been coming here all my life. I don't live nearby but I drive out to Lincoln at least once a month just so I can stop here. The food is delicious, the people are very friendly, the prices are the best around especially these days. I have zero complaints. Highly recommend Mexican Deli to anyone looking for amazing food.“
“With all things considered, this is a no-fuss one stop shop for your taco needs. Although you won't get your usual variety refreshers such as Horchata or Agua Frescas, the jarritos and soda options are sufficient. Like I said, this taco truck is here for your TACO needs. For two, it's usually under $20 (x4 birria & x2 tacos) unless you get drinks, consommé, ... and extra tacos than you normally do because your wife forgot to feed you at an appropriate lunch time then it's like $30 with tax. XD The ladies that serve and take our orders are always super nice and very quick with the food preparation. There's plenty of parking, and don't let the surrounding areas thwart you from a nice easy quick bite. I always get my tacos around lunch time though so I feel pretty safe. Usually I take my meal to go and eat in the comfort of my home, but one day they had the table out, (maybe just on weekends) and my husband and I enjoyed our meal with the nice weather. Birria - 10/10 at least, this is what my husband rated it as and he is a Birria taco fiend. He really enjoyed the consommé, it was hearty and included additional chunks of birria meat to consume with. The meat is tender and full of flavor. As for me, I enjoyed that it was not super greasy as some birrias can be. My sensitive stomach with lactose intolerance would heel over. Tacos - 9/10 for me. I like cabeza, my usual go to is lengua. I don't like tough, chewy meat cuts. I had the carne, I'm just not a carne asada girl. My brother likes it. The tortilla is always holding the taco together and I really enjoy the extras (radishes, grilled jalapeños, onions, and lime) the only thing I wish for is more salsa variety. The mild is ok, I usually have it on my tacos and dip into their hot salsa for a new note as I eat. But too much red sauce kinda overwhelms the whole taco, just gotta find the balance :)“
“Deliciosos tacos! Los tienen que probar. Best tacos, we stopped after the pumpkin patch. I tried the pastor and asada, the red salsa is spicy and the green is mild. If you can handle more spice the roasted cerranos are literal fire. Try some“
