“A really good local Mexican restaurant that’s ran out of an old house. Delicious food, good size portions, great chips, and a large selection in the salsa bar. My favorite from salsa bar is the avocado cilantro salsa! Service is fast with very kind staff! I have to say Taqueria Gonzalez is my favorite Mexican restaurant in Lincoln.Kid-friendliness: Family oriented and very friendly!“
“This is one of those places.....hidden gem!! Would definitely go back!! The fajitas (Steak &shrimp), were pretty good. Asada Fries were given a thumbs up from a teen. I would go back, staff was friendly and attentive. This place is small, not really an issue.“
“I’m a regular here and this review is long over due. Nothing but amazing things to say from this restaurant. The food is delicious! I’d recommend the super burrito and super nacho (that’s all I ever get). Very reasonably priced as well. Again, you shouldn’t be leaving this place left hungry. The ladies/servers who work there are very nice and welcoming. The cooks in the back are always doing an amazing job getting the food quickly ready. I’ll always continue to support El Portal Taqueria and I encourage everyone to do so as well.“
“I've been coming here all my life. I don't live nearby but I drive out to Lincoln at least once a month just so I can stop here. The food is delicious, the people are very friendly, the prices are the best around especially these days. I have zero complaints. Highly recommend Mexican Deli to anyone looking for amazing food.“
“Need a margarita with good food and great service? Then Casa Ramos is your place! Top shelf margarita is one you cannot beat, the salsa is always fresh and the food is always hot. The servers are always on point even when it's busy and the bartenders are always making awesome drinks! The place has great welcoming feeling as if your family!“
“I have loved this place since I lived in Lincoln years ago. If I'm in town looking for food this is always my first choice. I love the carnitas wet burrito and the salsa they give you with the chips is excellent. Prices are reasonable. The service is always prompt and friendly.“
“I ordered a carne asada taco and a pastor torta. Overall, the food was ok, the asada meat in my opinion was overcooked, it also didn't seem to be very fresh.Pros:The salsas were great, spicy, and had good flavor. The location was very clean and tidy. There was no wait and we were attended as soon as we arrived.“
“Amazing food and experience! Hopefully they are able to get a liquor license for Tequila or Mezcal, but still the cucumber gimlet is perfect. The staff is very polite, explained the mains, explained the history of the restaurant and the inspiration. Thank you for an amazing time! We'll be back!“
