“Been here twice and both times service was great!

Drinks have gotten better since the last time I was there so I appreciate that!

It is a pirate theme til early November, seemed a little light on decor but we appreciated the theme drinks and tiki bowls!

Food:
Upcharge for bread is quite a bit imo but it is still delish.
Crudo both times on point.
Whipped feta is good but you better love it.
Definitely more a light bites type of place.

If you sit outside you need to go inside to order which was no problem at all. They can get very busy so be patient. It’s worth the wait. Kevin is so kind and helpful. “My family and I were out of town and decided to try this place. Made reservations on yelp and we got to the restaurant we were greeted and seated right away. The restaurant was very nice and clean. We order drinks which were nice and cold. I order the kids a bento box. The kids really enjoyed the food the kids express how good the flavor was with all the food in the bento box and they're picky eaters too. My wife and I ordered sushi which we all agreed it was delicious. Overall great place to eat even if you're out of town.“

“Just had a great meal at Viet Noms in Livermore, and it’s definitely one of the better Vietnamese spots in the Tri-Valley. The space is clean, modern, and inviting — it feels more polished than your typical pho joint but still keeps the homey vibe.

Their pho is a clear highlight: the broth is rich and aromatic, with just the right balance of spices and sweetness. Portions are huge — easily one of the more generous bowls I’ve had around here. Noodles have good bite, and the meat is tender and flavorful. Great for a chilly day or when you’re just craving comfort food done right.

The bún bò Huế (BBH) really surprised me — it’s one of the most potent, deeply flavored versions I’ve had outside of San Jose. The broth hits with that spicy, lemongrass-heavy kick you want in BBH. I do wish the meat cuts were a bit chunkier and that they included pork blood cubes for full authenticity, but even without that, it’s still a satisfying bowl.

The salad was fresh but a bit underwhelming compared to the rest of the meal — maybe better as a light starter.

What really rounds out the experience is the service. Staff here are super friendly, fast, and genuinely attentive. They make you feel welcome without hovering, which is the sweet spot for casual dining.

Overall, Viet Noms delivers quality Vietnamese food in a setting that’s both relaxed and polished. Definitely worth a stop if you’re in Livermore or passing through. Try the pho, go for the BBH if you like spice, and enjoy the vibe.“

“Came here 2 hours ago, It was busy I but I was by myself and got a seat at the bar. Ordered Salmon Sashimi and it was so delicious paired it up with Wasabi, White rice, and Soy Sauce it was amazing. Been here a couple times but other than that place is Awesome!“

The only thing was a little bit too spicy for my taste, but I was able to drown out the spice with the steamed white rice. I was having a body massage and I was starving. “Amazing sandwich shop in Livermore! All the produce is fresh and the bread is made daily. The owners of the shop greet you when you come in and you immediately feel at home. The Italian Sandwich is incredible. The salads and soups are just as good.“
