“Been here twice and both times service was great!

Drinks have gotten better since the last time I was there so I appreciate that!

It is a pirate theme til early November, seemed a little light on decor but we appreciated the theme drinks and tiki bowls!

Food:
Upcharge for bread is quite a bit imo but it is still delish.
Crudo both times on point.
Whipped feta is good but you better love it.
Definitely more a light bites type of place.

If you sit outside you need to go inside to order which was no problem at all. They can get very busy so be patient. It’s worth the wait. Kevin is so kind and helpful. “DELICIOUS! We just had our dinner at Kokolo Donburi and ordered the Katsudon and the Wagyu Sukiyaki. Both dishes + miso soup are such a delight to have on an autumn day where the air is getting a little chilly. We also got to try a new dish: the shrimp shumai! I could eat a whole plate of these just by myself 😋Lastly, the fresh greens that came with the shumai were amazing which came topped with a wonderfully zesty yuzu dressing (Yuzu lovers rejoice!)
I loved the dressing so much, I had to ask for more (it’s liquid gold!) Thank you Kokolo Donburi!“

“I ordered the pork vermicelli, bun rieu, and spring rolls. The vermicelli came with a generous amount of pork and great flavor. Spring rolls were decent. But the star was the bun rieu, super fresh ingredients and really balanced, rich flavor. Easily the best bun rieu I’ve had in the area. The service was also quick and great. Quick to fill waters and offered napkins.“

I was immediately impressed by the warm welcome by the barista and checker.

They sadly didn’t have their espresso machine working those 2 times I came in 2 days in a row but good thing they had matcha with lavender. Yummmmm 🤤.

I ordered the spinach pastry as well and the size and price was just right. I spent less than $13.50 and normally that would be $17 elsewhere. They had plenty of seating indoors and outdoors.

It’s big with a lovely bar and great drinks, delicious food, and really hip and warm ambiance and they are open late. We will continue to come here. It’s one of our faves!“

“My family and I were out of town and decided to try this place. Made reservations on yelp and we got to the restaurant we were greeted and seated right away. The restaurant was very nice and clean. We order drinks which were nice and cold. I order the kids a bento box. The kids really enjoyed the food the kids express how good the flavor was with all the food in the bento box and they're picky eaters too. My wife and I ordered sushi which we all agreed it was delicious. Overall great place to eat even if you're out of town.“

“The food was really good, I didn't know what to order the server helped me pick out my meal. The only thing was a little bit too spicy for my taste, but I was able to drown out the spice with the steamed white rice. I was having a body massage and I was starving. The room is a typical small restaurant set up -- a handful of tables that seat 2 and a couple that seat 4; clean and welcoming!

Parking: Parking is available in a typical strip mall parking lot. Spots may be difficult to find right in front of the store if it's a popular time / on weekends.“

“Amazing sandwich shop in Livermore! All the produce is fresh and the bread is made daily. The owners of the shop greet you when you come in and you immediately feel at home. The Italian Sandwich is incredible. The salads and soups are just as good.“

“Best place in town for affordable sushi! I come here about once a week and usually get the sushi lunch special. It's under $20 and comes with miso soup, salad, a roll, and five pieces of nigiri sushi. I have tried other menu items and they are good too. There is better sushi in Livermore, but sushi zone has prices that are noticeably more affordable without sacrificing taste or quality.

The staff is friendly and it has a laid back atmosphere. Quick service too. There is a huge parking lot so you can easily park and walk in.“
