Food was off the charts, our waitress was super nice and sweet, and the lady at the front was wonderful as well! When me and my partner went it was quiet, not too busy, mostly because it was at night. Ive passed by during the day and they get pretty busy!“

You can really tell the vegetables are high quality and fresh, which made every dish stand out. The experience honestly reminded us of dining in Las Vegas with that elevated, fine-dining feel. I ordered the Al Fresca mocktail and it was incredibly refreshing. For my entrée, I had the hanger steak cooked medium, and it was perfectly prepared—tender, juicy, and full of flavor. “Old town cozy cafe! Typical breakfast diner with some decent breakfast options. Service was nice and loved sitting at the counter and chatting with some locals.

Food quality was decent but can be improved with better quality ingredients. Coffee was typical but nice and they also gave me some whole milk for the coffee on request.

“This place has ruined any other Chinese restaurant for me after finding this hidden gem! I debated even writing this review by telling myself not to ruin the amazing speed with which we received our food, but the thought of losing my new go-to spot due to low foot traffic was too much to bare.

I had been wanting to find a local spot that offered this style of Chinese cuisine, especially with the hand-pulled noodles and options for fresh-made dumplings, so this was a perfect place to go.

The location is near perfect, as it's very close to me by downtown Brentwood, and in an unassuming area of the shopping center. The only downside is the parking lot, but that's not the restaurants fault. The decor inside is very welcoming.

When we arrived, we were greeted right away by everyone within the open kitchen, which gives you a great view of the preparations of the fresh-made dishes, and told to take any open seat. The restaurant has approx. 15-16 tables, but even when we arrived on a weekday around 5pm, only 2 of them were being used.

The menus are small QR codes on a plaque near the edge of each table, with each code containing your table number, and directs you to a website with your restaurant's current menu. The menu has a well-organized selection of food, complete with photos of every dish, and usually a description of the ingredients. There's symbols for spice levels and the prices are clear and easy to read.

We were worried about how to request ways to customize the dishes, as it didn't appear you could at first. For some dishes, you can select between beef, pork, shrimp, etc on the dumplings and bowls, but not many other choices before adding the dish to your digital order. However, once the items are added to your digital order, you can make a wide number of customizations, including spice levels, noodle types and thickness, food allergies, and removing certain ingredients that you just don't like.

My husband and I settled on 2 main courses and 2 sides, with the plan to share the apps and enjoy our own mains. After placing the order, the food arrived in less than 3 minutes (if that!) It look longer to review the menu than for both of us to receive our main courses. I had ordered the Pork Belly with thin flat noodles and my husband ordered the Beef Broccoli Rice Bowl for our main courses, along with the Pan-Fried Dumplings and Beef & Onion Meat Pie as starters.

Needless to say, the speed showed how fresh the food was, and while we planned on sharing dishes, we each devoured our own starters and mains. The quality was excellent, the service was top-tier, and the taste was beyond explanation!

“The wife and I were in the mood for sushi so we decided to pay Sun Kitchen Asian Bistro a visit. The restaurant was clean with nice decor. We were greeted immediately and seated. Our waitress suggested an appetizer, the Heart Attack. It was spicy and absolutely delicious. I highly recommend it. We ordered the Rainbow, the Fairview Roll, and the the Sun + Moon Roll. We both loved the Fairview Roll, but they were all delicious. The menu is large, with plenty of other things to order besides sushi if sushi is not your thing. Great food, great staff, overall a great experience.“

“The food is absolutely killer — truly zero complaints there. Everything I’ve had has been delicious and full of flavor.

Where things get a little tricky is with consistency and service. Sometimes you’ll order a dish and it’s prepared one way, and other times it comes out a bit different with extra ingredients. It’s still good, just not always consistent.

Ordering over the phone can also be hit or miss. While calling directly usually gets you a better price, there have been multiple times where orders were mixed up. It can feel a little chaotic — staff taking other orders mid-call or multitasking — and occasionally the order is repeated back incorrectly. Even after correcting it, mistakes still happen, and that can be frustrating.

That said, the food quality really is fantastic. If they can tighten up the ordering and consistency side of things, this place would be next-level.“

“I love sushi. We went as a family for my dad's birthday and my mom really doesn't like sushi, but even she enjoyed it. They had not just sushi but they had dumplings and even wings! I personally got the sushi and I loved it it was completely reasonable price and the menu had a giant variety. I enjoyed going here.“

Also believe the green Tabasco at the table, preferred over the orginal red sauce, might been out of date? Hashbrowns were cooked well.

“Nick the Greek Brentwood , went for the 1st time to this location , recommended by someone & did not disappoint. My family & I had the bowls 1 pork, 1 lamb, the colors , the food textures, the dressing , the sauces in the bowls , tasty, refreshing , the veg, well cut to eat, crispy , the basmati rice , good flavor , the pork shaved cut, reasonable sized portions. , drinks got strawberry dragon fruit & tangerine tamarind , yum & can we talk about the desserts! The baklava good wedge cut, though not made at this location , many aren’t , really good recipe of nuts to phyllo dough . We also got the pistachio ice cream dessert , wow, the flavors there , chocolate, pistachio , vanilla ice cream fro yo type , delish. “Best dumplings ive had out here, I'm from Vegas but I would put this at the top from other places that I've tried. I've seen them make everything hand made while we are there and the flavors of everything is on point. The broth in soup dumplings is very flavorful and nothing is greasy especially the chow mein I will always eat here when I come out to Oakley. “Lone Tree Thai Cuisine is a place I hadn’t visited in over a decade due to a not-so-great experience years back. Recently, I decided to give it another try, hoping things had improved—and I’m glad to say they have.

We came in on a Thursday around 11 for lunch and were greeted as soon as we walked in and seated right away. Service started off smoothly, and it wasn’t long before our server came to take our order. We went with the beef pad see ew and chicken pad gra pow.

Both dishes were delightful and flavorful—exactly the bold, comforting Thai flavors you anticipate when craving Thai food. The noodles were well cooked, the seasoning was on point, and everything tasted fresh and satisfying. My only small note would be that the portions could be a bit more generous.

Service throughout the meal was good—servers were friendly, attentive, and made sure we were taken care of. I’m really glad I decided to give Lone Tree Thai Cuisine another chance. It’s earned its way back onto my list, and I’ll definitely be returning when I need my Thai food fix.“

“Great experience at Salad Makers! I am not usually a salad person, but went with a group and was pleasantly surprised by the options and the service. At most times of the day you can turn your salad into a wrap and the portions are fairly large! You can edit any of the menu items as well as build your own with many things to choose from. Great place in brentwood!“

“Kinders has been a long time favorite for me. I nearly always get the Stuffed BBQ Sandwich, however I saw they offered a Pulled Pork version and thought I’d give it a whirl. I wish I could say I enjoyed the Pulled Pork as much as I hoped, but was disappointed. The meat was tough and the fat was not rendered as you’d expect for a Pulled Pork. However, the service was great and my Wife’s Chicken Bowl was very enjoyable. She said she’d order it again. The Sweet Potato Fries were seasoned nicely and crispy as you’d like. Worry not Kinders I’ll be back. Everybody deserves a mulligan.“
