“Had the best wine tasting experience Thanks to Kim Codey she knew every detail of every wine down to the taste. Learned a lot of the winery itself learned the history of winery and of the wines. They were named after family members especially the cutest names were that of the grandchildren. Also it's place where you can bring your kids and food celebrate anyway you like. They have the ? for the adults to purchase and live bands playing at times iI definitely will be coming back with family and friends Love the view all aroind
P.S Thank You again Kim Codey for the great service see you soon I definitely recommend Kim Codey if your like me and know nothing that about wines. Even if you know there is always room to learn more.“
“Loved my experience at Las Positas! Such a nice selection of wines in a beautiful setting (the Barbera was my favorite!) Everyone is so friendly and personable, including Sara and Krystal who helped my table. I loved that they had yummy food beyond just cheese and crackers. Chef Curt did a great job with the menu, from the baked brie to the flatbreads to the pork belly tacos. Thanks for a great time! Will definitely be back.“
“Fantastic wines in a great atmosphere, Bob makes an effort to educate and speak with as many visitors as possible, never a dull moment.“
“Absolutely excellent. Please don't go there, because I want all of the great wine to myself. The Chardonnay wasn't buttery or Oak(ie). The sparkling was perfect. The cab 2021 is smooth. Then you get into the Reserve Cab and the Dragonfly, please don't order these because I only had room for 2 cases and I need to pickup the rest in stock. 30 years of drinking wine and I found an absolute gem.“
“Stopped unexpectedly at Darcy Kent Winery for a tasting and had the most wonderful experience that I had to share. Was so warmly welcomed by Julia who offered us the most custom experience - sharing her knowledge of wines and a bit about the wines and events coming up - even custom made a small afternoon snack to pair with our wine as we were between meals. We were blown away by her hospitality and her warmth. She made us feel like we were VIPs and we sat in the beautiful patio realizing we wanted to plan our next visit soon... and often. The wine (Malbec Rose, Albarino and Sauvignon Blanc) we enjoyed were each fantastic) and the experience was truly special. We were treated like family and we cannot wait to come back. Thank you Julia and thank you Darcy Kent!“
“Been here 3 times now since a family member is a wine club member. This is just a small tasting room, but their usually not packed and have both indoor and outdoor seating. They have a section in the back that is for members only. There is only 1 bathroom though so plan accordingly.
They always start you off with a welcome glass of sparkling wine then you choose your tasting. There's 2 teasing options, a normal $20 or a higher end $60 one. Each with 4 normal sized pours, which are all given at once in little caraffes so you can taste at your own pace. Their wines are high quality, more red heavy, but they have a variety. Their style is more earthy, bold, barrel aged reds.
Service is always good. They allow outside food. Street parking is not too difficult. Check them out“
“Excellent wines. Friendly, well informed staff, beautiful grounds!!“
“Amazing wine, great service, must go!“
“Our recent visit to Concannon Vineyard was nothing short of extraordinary! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by the warm and welcoming staff, particularly Ashley Shroyen, whose exceptional customer service truly went above and beyond our expectations. Her knowledge and passion for wine made our experience even more enjoyable.
We also had the pleasure of interacting with Christina Byard, the manager, who provided us with what can only be described as 20-star service! Her dedication to ensuring that every guest feels special is evident, and it made a significant impact on our visit.
Now, lets talk about the wine! The Concannon Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon is truly top-notch. This wine is smooth and rich, offering a delightful flavor profile that showcases the vineyard’s commitment to quality. While many Cabernet Sauvignons improve with age, we found Concannon’s to be exceptional right out of the bottle, with complex flavors and aromas that tantalized our taste buds.
Our first-time experience at Concannon Vineyard left us thoroughly impressed, and we cannot wait to return. This vineyard has it all, a beautiful setting, outstanding customer service, and exquisite wines that are perfect for enjoying with family and friends.
If you are looking for a wonderful outing and a chance to savor some of the best wine around, we highly recommend visiting Concannon Vineyard. You will not be disappointed!“
“We thought this place was pretty great. A very jovial atmosphere where people seemed to know each other. Not to say you need to be a regular, we were treated like friends as well. That includes our dog, although she didn’t get her 2024 Livermore vintage but that’s okay! I was also quite please with the wines. None of them were bad and some of them were really quite good. Definitely try the white dessert wine to finish off the day if you like lightly burnt syrupy pancake flavor. Yum!“
“Great wine, great service, very knowledgeable people.“
“Stumbled across this place while driving through and so glad we did!! A cute little place with lots of charm. Had two cute dogs to greet us as we came in and the owner was so knowledgeable and kind! Told us the history of the place and his family, and talked through every wine we tried. Great prices and fantastic wine!! A must try if in the area!“
“A rare gem. Wonderful small family winery that has the best customer service. They will treat you like family.“
“I love Visiting Wente with my son who is a wine member. We live in Bermuda and drink Wente here as our go to wine. However very disappointed that they have stopped serving the charcuterie boards. Now you get a complimentary plate with cheese and crackers. Very tacky! This is an upscale place to visit but needs to maintain its class! Come on not very difficult to prepare these plates. It’s not as if they are free.“
“Arrived on Barrel Tasting Weekend in Livermore 3/23. What a great experience and group of people. For non-oaky Chard lovers...this is a go to Chard! House red was great, merlot lovely and Petit Syrah was unique with Italian herb notes worth the try! Don't pass up this hidden gem! Reasonably priced tasting at $15!“
“I love this place. I've been a member for years. I went there today for a pickup and tasting. I was going to cancel my membership because it is so difficult getting here, however after arriving I changed my mind because I love it so much. The atmosphere is amazing. The staff is always very attentive, fun and friendly. I know they are just doing their job but I truly feel they go above and beyond.“
“Celebrating our 1 yr anniversary, this is where we had our first date . Great bartender Jessie . Thank you .“
“Awesome time! Great wines ! Great Company“
“This is such a great winery! The reds are a little lighter than many Bordeaux blends, and they also have some ligher Italian reds. The Pinot Blanc is one of the best white wines I have ever had, and garden setting is perfect.
If you see some negative reviews here, you quickly notice that it was from a large group of peopke who brought their unruly kids. Kids don't belong at a winery and I appreciate RM keeping the environment peaceful.“
“Rios Lovell winery offer good wines and 4 beautiful lady marble statues imported from Italy. It is right at tesla rd. I enjoyed the shady picnic area you can bring your own food or buy theirs to have a nice relaxing time. It is a great stop.“
“The owner, Chris, is incredibly knowledgeable and always fun to talk to. Last week was my third tasting there and each time the service and wines have been excellent! Highly recommend!“

“This ended up being a happy accident. We were trying to get a seat at a place down the way but after 45 minutes, and with concert tickets in hand, we decided to try this new place. I'm so happy we did. Everything was amazing. Best calamari I've ever had. The salmon and lamb (me and my husband, respectively) we're perfectly cooked and incredibly flavorful. I can't wait to go back and try more of their menu.
Plus we made it to our concert on time!“
“This winery is FUN! “The Un-Oaked” Chardonnay is a favorite of mine and our Crew. Rosie always books such fun music events and LuLu the dog is my best girl. If visiting Livermore Wine Country, stop by the Vasco Row wineries and give them a try! You won’t be disappointed.“
“Held a surprise birthday party on a Saturday night at the winery. Was such a huge hit and an overall great event. The quality of the wines, the patio and tasting room aesthetics, and quality of the service were all just amazing. Special thanks to Ravii, Gina and Suzanne for the quality of service and help in making for a truly special evening!!“
“Tenuta Vineyards is a gem of a winery in Livermore Valley. Every wine tasted was excellent, making us want more. High marks for their Chardonney and Granche Port. Their host Rich gave excellent service and was very accommodating. Great family friendly winery!“
“Awesome chill winery with great wines“
“Amazing experience all around! Friendly staff and good vibes overall! Will definitely be back.“
“Food was amazing. Deep fried olives to die for. Service was on point. Highly recommend this winery.“
“Great time listening to Matt Finders and friends!“
“The wine was delicious, the setting was beautiful, and our host, Gina, was great!“
“Absolutely phenomenal wine tasting experience hosted by Trish! From start to finish, she created a warm, welcoming atmosphere that made everyone feel at ease. Her knowledge of wines was impressive, and she shared fun, insightful stories behind each pour that brought the experience to life. The selection was perfectly curated, balancing bold reds, crisp whites, and a few delightful surprises. Trish’s passion for wine is contagious, and her attention to detail truly elevated the evening. Whether you're a wine novice or a seasoned enthusiast, this tasting is a must. Can’t wait to attend another event with her. Highly recommend!“

“We are modest/mid-level wine enthusiasts who have been blessed to make three trips to California's Wine Country. Mostly, we have spent time visiting Napa Valley wineries and a couple of trips to Sonoma Valley. Every trip has been an unique learning experience!
Beyond our previous Napa and Sonoma winery visits, we have discovered other superb wineries. For instance, we discovered Black Girl Magic, John Legend, and Longevity wines on a Black History podcast during the Covid Pandemic.
Since then, Longevity's Chardonnay has CONSISTENTLY been one of our favorites! It's clean, crisp, medium-body, with a balanced fresh fruit taste. it is usually $13-14 at our local Kroger Grocery Store.“
