“Had the best wine tasting experience Thanks to Kim Codey she knew every detail of every wine down to the taste. Learned a lot of the winery itself learned the history of winery and of the wines. They were named after family members especially the cutest names were that of the grandchildren. Also it's place where you can bring your kids and food celebrate anyway you like. They have the ? for the adults to purchase and live bands playing at times iI definitely will be coming back with family and friends Love the view all aroind
P.S Thank You again Kim Codey for the great service see you soon I definitely recommend Kim Codey if your like me and know nothing that about wines. Even if you know there is always room to learn more.“
“Fantastic wines in a great atmosphere, Bob makes an effort to educate and speak with as many visitors as possible, never a dull moment.“
“Loved my experience at Las Positas! Such a nice selection of wines in a beautiful setting (the Barbera was my favorite!) Everyone is so friendly and personable, including Sara and Krystal who helped my table. I loved that they had yummy food beyond just cheese and crackers. Chef Curt did a great job with the menu, from the baked brie to the flatbreads to the pork belly tacos. Thanks for a great time! Will definitely be back.“
“10+ stars ✨
This has been a staple for our family for a long time, but two things stand out…
1- My husband was newly introduced to Concannon wines in 2017. He coveted our tasting etched glasses. He broke one in 2022. I visited the tasting room as they were closing for the day (I didn’t realize the time) and Ashley and a manager took such great care of me… figuring out which glass broke, grabbing from a box in a back room, and situating it with my shipping order.
2- My husband broke another freaking glass in 2024. I happened to be back in Livermore, stopped in the tasting room, and before I could finish the “do you remember me?” question, Ashley says, “Glass, right?” Over a year later!! She not only made our day of rosé great, she grabbed glasses so I could find the right one and got my stuff ready for shipping along with a friendly, fun attitude.
THIS. THIS is why I love certain vineyards. Concannon, you crushed it in more ways than one!!“
“Absolutely excellent. Please don't go there, because I want all of the great wine to myself. The Chardonnay wasn't buttery or Oak(ie). The sparkling was perfect. The cab 2021 is smooth. Then you get into the Reserve Cab and the Dragonfly, please don't order these because I only had room for 2 cases and I need to pickup the rest in stock. 30 years of drinking wine and I found an absolute gem.“
“Been here 3 times now since a family member is a wine club member. This is just a small tasting room, but their usually not packed and have both indoor and outdoor seating. They have a section in the back that is for members only. There is only 1 bathroom though so plan accordingly.
They always start you off with a welcome glass of sparkling wine then you choose your tasting. There's 2 teasing options, a normal $20 or a higher end $60 one. Each with 4 normal sized pours, which are all given at once in little caraffes so you can taste at your own pace. Their wines are high quality, more red heavy, but they have a variety. Their style is more earthy, bold, barrel aged reds.
Service is always good. They allow outside food. Street parking is not too difficult. Check them out“
“Stopped unexpectedly at Darcy Kent Winery for a tasting and had the most wonderful experience that I had to share. Was so warmly welcomed by Julia who offered us the most custom experience - sharing her knowledge of wines and a bit about the wines and events coming up - even custom made a small afternoon snack to pair with our wine as we were between meals. We were blown away by her hospitality and her warmth. She made us feel like we were VIPs and we sat in the beautiful patio realizing we wanted to plan our next visit soon... and often. The wine (Malbec Rose, Albarino and Sauvignon Blanc) we enjoyed were each fantastic) and the experience was truly special. We were treated like family and we cannot wait to come back. Thank you Julia and thank you Darcy Kent!“
“Excellent wines. Friendly, well informed staff, beautiful grounds!!“
“Amazing wine, great service, must go!“
“We thought this place was pretty great. A very jovial atmosphere where people seemed to know each other. Not to say you need to be a regular, we were treated like friends as well. That includes our dog, although she didn’t get her 2024 Livermore vintage but that’s okay! I was also quite please with the wines. None of them were bad and some of them were really quite good. Definitely try the white dessert wine to finish off the day if you like lightly burnt syrupy pancake flavor. Yum!“
“I love this place. I've been a member for years. I went there today for a pickup and tasting. I was going to cancel my membership because it is so difficult getting here, however after arriving I changed my mind because I love it so much. The atmosphere is amazing. The staff is always very attentive, fun and friendly. I know they are just doing their job but I truly feel they go above and beyond.“
“Stumbled across this place while driving through and so glad we did!! A cute little place with lots of charm. Had two cute dogs to greet us as we came in and the owner was so knowledgeable and kind! Told us the history of the place and his family, and talked through every wine we tried. Great prices and fantastic wine!! A must try if in the area!“
“A rare gem. Wonderful small family winery that has the best customer service. They will treat you like family.“
“Celebrating our 1 yr anniversary, this is where we had our first date . Great bartender Jessie . Thank you .“
“Great wine, great service, very knowledgeable people.“
“I love Visiting Wente with my son who is a wine member. We live in Bermuda and drink Wente here as our go to wine. However very disappointed that they have stopped serving the charcuterie boards. Now you get a complimentary plate with cheese and crackers. Very tacky! This is an upscale place to visit but needs to maintain its class! Come on not very difficult to prepare these plates. It’s not as if they are free.“
“Arrived on Barrel Tasting Weekend in Livermore 3/23. What a great experience and group of people. For non-oaky Chard lovers...this is a go to Chard! House red was great, merlot lovely and Petit Syrah was unique with Italian herb notes worth the try! Don't pass up this hidden gem! Reasonably priced tasting at $15!“
“Awesome time! Great wines ! Great Company“
“Great wine, knowledgeable staff great time.“
“This winery is FUN! “The Un-Oaked” Chardonnay is a favorite of mine and our Crew. Rosie always books such fun music events and LuLu the dog is my best girl. If visiting Livermore Wine Country, stop by the Vasco Row wineries and give them a try! You won’t be disappointed.“
“Rios Lovell winery offer good wines and 4 beautiful lady marble statues imported from Italy. It is right at tesla rd. I enjoyed the shady picnic area you can bring your own food or buy theirs to have a nice relaxing time. It is a great stop.“
“The owner, Chris, is incredibly knowledgeable and always fun to talk to. Last week was my third tasting there and each time the service and wines have been excellent! Highly recommend!“
“Excellent lineup of wines especially the Petite Verdot and Cabernet Sauvignon. Visited on 8/24/24 and were well taken care of by Jolanda and Glenn while we sampled their wines outdoors. Beautiful, casual picnicking area in the gardens and with many trees to keep you cool while sampling their wines. Overall great experience.“

“This ended up being a happy accident. We were trying to get a seat at a place down the way but after 45 minutes, and with concert tickets in hand, we decided to try this new place. I'm so happy we did. Everything was amazing. Best calamari I've ever had. The salmon and lamb (me and my husband, respectively) we're perfectly cooked and incredibly flavorful. I can't wait to go back and try more of their menu.
Plus we made it to our concert on time!“
“My boyfriend and I had an absolutely phenomenal time here. California wine is both an interesting and competitive scene. Above all, we (Californians) want to try excellent wine and aren’t willing to compromise on this (at least I am not!). But it’s refreshing when you can find that elite quality at a place that is very relaxed, comfortable, and like home.
I am happy to say we found this at Tenuta. To call it a “hidden gem” is an understatement. I appreciated the very knowledgeable staff who understood the winemaking process and obviously made deliberate choices with their grape selections for their winemaking, and for our tastings. But again, in a completely relaxed way. It’s clear everyone there loves what they do, and above all, have great wine to share with their patrons. I’m looking forward to going back this season!“
“Wonderful boutique winery! We had the best experience here. Tastings are $20 for 5 tastings, which is waved if you buy a bottle. Some of the other reviewers state that the tastings were tiny - I disagree. The pours were normal for a tasting. And, you could always revisit any taste just by asking. Plus, I really loved the service here - our server figured out each of our individual pallets and tailored our tastings based on our preferences. We learned a ton about the wine and what makes the area so special. We even tried a few wines that were not on our tasting menu.My friend and I visited on a Sunday afternoon. The place was busy but not crowded. We sat outside under the heat lamps. While they don’t have a restaurant, they have a small à la cart section to make your own picnic (crackers, cheese, chocolate, etc…).Highly recommend their wines too - especially their reds.“
“Awesome chill winery with great wines“
“Amazing experience all around! Friendly staff and good vibes overall! Will definitely be back.“
“Great time listening to Matt Finders and friends!“
“Food was amazing. Deep fried olives to die for. Service was on point. Highly recommend this winery.“
“The wine was delicious, the setting was beautiful, and our host, Gina, was great!“
“Fabulous experience in the California Sun with our wine host Diana. The wineries offerings will please any pallet. The white blend was a find! The reds were yummy and bold. I cannot say enough about our host, Diana. We walked away with two cases and a membership. Hoping to come back soon.“

“My boyfriend and I had such a great time at Longevity. Tami served our wine tasting and was knowledgeable and so friendly. The wine maker serves the wine as well. The atmosphere is great and there’s even board/card games to play. The selection in the tasting was delicious and pairs perfectly with the snacks that they serve. The hummus is top tier ??“
