“Great service , great sushi and great sake !“

“This place was phenomenal especially for the price big scoops of protein lots of options. The price had gone up and the scoops have gotten smaller. Rewards are hot and miss I have spent $70 and received one point but they don’t tel you that. Of you have multiple bowls to multiple transactions. Also I did a Instagram promotion and they changed their mind and I lost my reward 🙄. Staff is always late teens young adults mostly nice some are better than others. Still a solid place .“

“Been wanting to check out this spot for years. Small intimate spot in a corner shopping plaza. Walking in, you can tell this sushi spot is surrounded by locals. We seated right away. The young waitress explained the special for the day and answered any questions we had regarding menu items. We ordered the special fried shishito peppers. Sorted veggie tempura + a dragon 🐉 roll to share. 1 Udon and 3 Ramen soup. More than enough food. Roll was definitely on the smaller size/portion. Really came here for the ramen and it did not disappoint. I'll be back soon.“

“Komachi is ALWAYS the best place to go around San Joaquin Valley for sushi and other Japanese Cuisine. Their prices are right, the portions are great, the quality is always on point, the service is phenomenal and the flavor is second to none in SJC! The family-owned business has earned multiple awards year after year, and it only takes one visit to see why! Go try it out, and try the Starfire Roll, my personal favorite! “Really good Sushi here. Enjoyed my Chef's Choice & Rainbow Roll quite a bit. Wife enjoyed both of her rolls and the kid loved the Tofu Bento Box. We also had the gyoza which was well made a crispy and the Spicy Garlic Edamame, which was excellent. Beer choices were decent, price was fair (though they should probably fix the menu prices in a few spots.“

“This restaurant is truly a hidden gem of Stockton, not only in taste but in price as well. Too many sushi places tend to raise their prices to match “inflation”. And was not crazy busy for a Friday night!?!

But somehow someway this place defies the times/odds of rising prices.

Being affordable does not even hinder the quality of taste in the sushi. Superb in every sense of the word. I could not tell you if every item (which there is a lot of options to choose from) on the menu was delicious. But what I can tell you is the ninja roll and spicy crab roll was delectable and scrumptious. The appreciative and kind waitress who served us was very informed about their menu and helped my wife choose the right roll/item on the menu which she was pleasantly surprised how delicious her spicy California roll and monster roll was for the low cost of 11$ for each.

If I had to actually give a critique or criticism it would be that our order was slow to our table (30mins) but if feeling peckish or hangry I would recommend chicken karaage appetizer, they also have plenty of other options for apps. Inside is beautiful and easy on the easy with its dark red/ warm colors tones make you feel cozy and warm definitely a vibe where you can be calm and relaxed, a lil warning would be it is small so maybe not a large party would not benefit much inside.

If you are sushi fan and or want a nice dinner with a loved one (or date that won’t break the bank) this would be a go to for sure.“

“Wonderful food!!!! Great waiters and waitress!!! Our favorite. They have a really good variety of foods available. All delicious and well prepared. They even have Sukiyaki, one of our favorites (that many restaurants do not have on their menus). We recommend Shogun!!!“

“Not too bad for the price. I only eat kosher, so there weren't a lot of options. But, still had enough food to feel full.
Maybe I got there a little too early. As when there was more of a crowd, a new chef brought out more kosher options. So, all in all, happy to have stopped in. Thanks.“

“It ended up being a late lunch with the wife. We decided to try out a new spot. It was a bit later in the day. The food was served perfectly as we requested for a few small modifications. The service was solid. We felt the price was great. If you are looking for a small town vibe with a small town restaurant then this is the place that you need to be!!“

“I normally don't give 5 stars but if you're looking for Teppanyaki, this place delivers. The cook was very entertaining and cooked everyone's food just how they like it! I had so much left over that it was lunch the next day. I also had the carrot cake martini and it was so yummy!“
