“At first didn't think much about the place due to the store front and name bbq chicken, figure it was just a regular chicken spot but I was in a mood for wings. While viewing the menu I was intrigued by the flavors offered. Once entering location it's was refreshing to smell and see the cleanliness and aroma of something that immediately caught my attention which had me anticipating greatness.. and thats not all, the service was to the Capital T. The gentleman at the register answer all my questions with plenty of recommendations based on my taste. I was more then pleased and I didn't even order yet. Once I ordered I couldn't wait for my honey garlic wings with a side of pickled radishes. After my order was completed I was handed a buzzer to inform me when my order was ready. Now I waited in the car not sure if there was seating in the back cause I didn't ask nor venture I just wanted to head to the car and express my opinion to my spouse.. no more than 10 -15 mins later give or take food was ready. Now let me tell you i very impressed by the smell. Plus the container was perfect fully closed with air pockets so the 🐔 could breath. Now this always makes a difference no matter how the food smell. Maintaining that crispyness I look for.. now let me get to this chicken. Boy/ Girl let me tell you, chicken sooooo good make you wanna slap your momma. Flavor 10, texture 10, plus the service 10, this a perfect game for me. Triple doubles. me and wifey was licking each other finger fighting for the last drip. Been a while since I had something this good in Cali. And I'm a new York wing head.. with this said I'll be back so I hope to see all y'all in there tomorrow, cause I'm definitely coming back, so lock me in for a lifetime membership. “Honu Poke & Grill truly delivers on all fronts! We ventured outside the usual South Bay bubble—a 20-minute drive that was absolutely worth every minute. We indulged in the fantastic barbecue ribs, which were perfectly fall-off-the-bone tender. Paired with their incredible poke and generous portions of teriyaki chicken and rice, plus a side of mac salad, we left completely satisfied and already planning our next trip!“

“I loved this place! You get a LOT of yummy food for a good price (especially for California). The Britt Bowl (brisket, pulled pork, and kielbasa) is huge - definitely ask for a to-go container. I wish they had a liquor license, but I don't think I had room for beer after all that meat!“

“Great BBQ food. Chicken, sausage, ribs, sides are good too. Bbq bean I like them. Potato was perfect. Mac cheese I'm not big on it but it was good too. Bbq sauce was a bit on the sour side for me. I like a sweeter taste. Over all my order was worth the price.💯👍 For sure to come again.“

The service is friendly and attentive, and the staff helps with grilling and explains the best way to enjoy the food. The restaurant is clean with a comfortable, authentic Korean atmosphere.

“I've tried just about everything on the menu at Shady Grove Foods and nothing disappoints. I can close my eyes and put my finger on the menu and I would be happy wherever it landed. I had Sticky Bones again tonight and I'm as thrilled as the first time I tried them and all the other times I've had them and in fact I feel like tonight's were the best ever. I seriously enjoy their food and hospitality. The hardest part is driving back to Cal Heights without opening the box and start eating.
