“I’ve been going to the Budget Cafe in Lompoc for over 30 years and it cooks up the same delicious food every time I’ve been there. The waitress is one of the best you could ask for. The ambiance is old school and a welcome site for sore eyes. I hope to be coming here for a long time. BTW the food is cooked fast and the quality of the meals are done to your liking. The eggs and vegetables are farm fresh. You won’t go wrong stopping her for any of the many items on the menu.“

I wanted to make sure they got a special treat, so I called ahead since using a third party delivery service would have only delivered from the main store, not the base location. The staff here were incredible—going above and beyond to help. They took my order for special Halloween donuts and arranged for it to be delivered right to the base’s small store location the next day, saving my daughter-in-law a big hassle of packing up the kids and driving all the way to the gate. When she arrived, she was greeted with the most adorable and delicious donuts, and the kids’ faces were lit up with joy when she arrived home!
