“Stopped by with my sister after the Long Beach Trolley Christmas Lights Tour through Naples. Everything we ordered was delicious, highly recommend the loaded Mac n cheese w brisket, I’m no stranger to soul food and this mac rivaled my own… so creamy. Everything is seasoned to perfection. The bbq sandwich with brisket and pulled pork was so flavorful, it didn’t even need sauce. Don’t get me started on the soft, chewy buns…The staff, not sure if the owner, was soooooo genuinely kindhearted. He made our family time even more special, laughing with us and letting us try the wings and dirty rice (try themmm!!!! Soooo good). Over the top tasty bbq AND sides. 10/10 would recommend. Oh and they were playing the jams (not too loud), nice to sing along between bites.“

“Amazing food love Korean fusion especially the bulgogi burrito 🌯🌯🌯the burrito is so packed it will likely fall apart as the tortilla cannot contain all the incredible food and delectable ingredients. I got the bulgogi and it was perfect. Juicy, just the perfect amount of sweetness. A generous proportion and well balanced with the egg, veggies etc.. a perfect medley and entirely satisfying.“

“I found this new BBQ pop-up in Lakewood at the YMCA and I can’t say enough good things about it. From the kindness of the family that runs it, to the delicious food. Last week I had the 3 meat plate (I chose brisket, pork belly and chicken) which came with 2 sides and it was only $28! The brisket and pork belly were SO tender and juicy and had an amazing flavor! Earlier today I had the one meat plate with chicken, this coleslaw that is probably the best I’ve ever tasted, and their brisket chow mein. So good! Everything is homemade down to the sauces and they have things like burritos and Texas toast brisket grilled cheese. It’s called Axiom Kitchen. Husband, wife and kids and so kind…they made us feel so special. We haven’t had service like that in a long time. I know they are at the Lakewood YMCA on Sundays and I think Fridays and they are at another location on Thursday but I’m not sure where.“

“Hands down the best spot in LBC for BBQ! We got the tritip, brisket, sausage and beef ribs and hoooooweee! It was all good, down to the last bite.“
“Great restaurant, convenient parking nearby, our bartender/server was great! Answered all of our annoying questions on bourbon (and sold us a bottle made on site). Food was also great. It got busy as we ate, and our server got busy (double-duty as bartender). Can't understand why several employees standing around didn't pitch in to help the servers. But otherwise, we were very happy.“
