I also got their crossiant which I was a fan of. It was reasonably priced, cheaper than my local coffee shop and bigger. I don't each donuts all the time, but I'd recommend checking them out. “i havent been here in awhile, and oddly enough i always come for the food… always made with love, the girls they have working there are always so lovely and sweet. just tried the pastrami sandwich on a whim today, i wasnt terribly hungry and wanted something for later. i saw the girl loading my sandwich up with everything that is good and by the time i got home the sandwich was defeated in less than five minutes. the bread was delicious and fresh, crunch and soft, and the mark of goodness was the sprinkle of salt and pepper on top. this food reminds me of the food my grandmother used to make me in the best way. 10/10 stars will be back asap!!“

Fast forward 27 years later, it is still the same owner behind the counter! The memory she has is remarkable! As there was a period of time that I didn't live in long beach and it was years before I came back here! That first time coming back, her tone was just that, like a family member who hasn't seen you in a long time! Remembered who I was, asked about my grandmother, mother and brother, and now that I have kids of my own, she has met my 2 daughters as well! “I stopped by Donut House (5397 Long Beach Blvd) while working as a driver—I had a little gap and was craving some tea. Walked in and was the only one there at first. I asked if they had matcha, but they didn’t. The only iced tea option was Thai tea, so I went with that, and it hit the spot—nice and refreshing, wrapped up well for the road.

I also ordered their cream cheese, jalapeño, and bacon croissant. It came out hot in under 5 minutes, and it was 🔥. The bacon was crispy, the croissant fresh, and everything had good flavor. While I was waiting, more customers started coming in, but the lady at the register handled the rush smoothly after finishing up my order.

The Also sell lottery tickets, good coffee, sandwiches etc. The service isn't the best but it's a donut shop so who cares. Sometimes a long wait if there's only one person working. Real good plus is they usually have donuts later in the afternoon unlike a lot of places that are out by late morning. Great croissants as well and croissant sandwiches“

“AMBIANCE: This coffee shop is small, pretty laidback, and I like their decor & choice of indie music. Honestly I might come in here more to study or relax if I'm nearby.

FOOD/DRINK: Iced ube almond latte - I wasn't expecting it on the menu. Luckily, I was in the mood for ube these past two days so I'm glad I came when I did! It had a pretty purple color on the top and the starchy flavor of ube to cut into the aftertaste of coffee so all things considered, I enjoyed it a lot.

SERVICE: Chris was quick and accomodating for my dairy allergies! He made the latte in a separate steam pitcher and took the time to talk to me about the warming summer weather. Seems like a nice guy, glad he was my barista today.“

“Staff is very friendly and helpful. If you love Boba, they are served in a pull-tab top plastic container. Many boba flavors to choose from, and I had coffee flavor and it's very good. The mochinut donuts comes in many different flavor. I really enjoy the strawberry funnel and chocolate churro. Try them out to see for yourself.“

Ultimately spent an hour here but a chunk of the time was spent on merch. The employees were nice and knowledgeable. Try the Liliuhms specific donuts and drinks before they're gone by 11/30! The bleppe cat and Roscoe donut were my favorites. The corn milk hot chocolate's sweetness was customizable. The corn milk latte isn't customizable since it's made in a batch. You can't go wrong with both.“
