“I was in LA a couple of weeks ago on business and found this spot the day before leaving and that's my biggest regret. Wish we'd found it the first day we we're there I'd have been eating there everyday. The food and atmosphere are excellent and a live DJ playing music we all grew up on (can you dig it ✊?). “Recommended by a friend and it did not disappoint. We had to stand outside and order our food at a window and pick it up at the side window. The person taking order was not very helpful with the menu and kind of rushed us but it was a line so I chucked it up to that. We ordered the meatloaf dinner with Mac and cheese and yams and my husband got collars and Mac and cheese along with sweet tea. I dont eat everyone's meatloaf but was craving it and I am soooo happy I did. It was some of the best meatloaf I have eaten. The yams were delicious as well and my fav side. They gave a lot of food and had leftovers for the following day and more. The tea was amazing as well but my husband did say it was mixed with lemonade so wasn't real tea but was delicious. Hidden gem and will make sure to visit again when in the area.“

“Our family of 5--parents + kids 22, 19 and 13--had Fatburger on our "must do" list for LA. We wanted to eat inside, but they were only serving through the drive-thru so...drive-thru it was. The wife and I don't eat beef so we each got the Fatburger w/Impossible patty. The kids got the Classic Fatburger. Fries all around of course. The car was filled with smacks, slurps and mmmms. Good burgers! Now the fries could have used more seasoning but the burgers were slappin'!“

They didn’t but ownership was so kind and empathetic that they handed over a fresh and delicious piece of tomato focaccia for my troubles. That’s what’s called unreasonable hospitality. “Attended this restaurant for a late lunch. I enjoyed my time dining, very clean, they play Korean music. Definitely a place to bring friends or family to share food portions, I feel as if the price is justified due to the portion. Food + Drink about $40 per person. Soju berry highball is the perfect sweetness. Will come back to show my family this place 😄I really liked the kimchi! 4100 isn't a typical spot for me on a Sunday, but it definitely will be now that I know Nugtown will be there.

I've worked in the service industry and done local food reviews for 10 years across Detroit, Denver, Las Vegas, and Los Angeles. This is one of the standout spots, hands down. That is saying A LOT.

Hand battered chicken, everything made to order, and Mike will let you know exactly what you need without trying to upsell and swindle you.

I take my food, specifically fried chicken, very seriously and there is not one thing that I could suggest to improve. I can't wait to tell everybody!

“Got to sample the food when they were a vendor at the Afro-Latinx festival event at the MOLAA earlier this year. As I trying to determine which food vendor to support as I wanted to sample food that was reflective of the event. He didn’t have his menu prominently available so I had to asked him what he was selling, he said the magic word oxtail and I was sold. Food was delicious and there sadly was no leftovers, as I scraped it clean. Not the cheapest but the food was tasty to justify, as well as the drink/juice. Definitely would recommend and would want to try the other dishes.“

“This was the first time visiting and eating at Delicious. My husband and I ordered the small gumbo. It was good not too salty and very hot. It had all of the ingredients we were told it should have and a nice balance portion of the shrimp, crab, and beef sausage. We ate in the restaurant as well it was ok. We ordered some food to go for later. The fried chicken was good along with the spaghetti, greens, rice and gravy, green beans, corn and okra. The only negative is the cashier Maria was not friendly she had an attitude and had a mean look on her face. Overall it was good.“
