“Pulled off the highway for an early breakfast and was pleasantly surprised by this hidden gem. I was greeted as by a friendly face and received excellent, attentive service. Later, I enjoyed a delicious steak and eggs with a rare three-egg plate at a reasonable price. My father ordered the same dish, and the consistency in quality was noticeable. We’re happy we stopped here and might stop again if we’re in the area.”

“For being in northern California the bartenders are super friendly, good old fashioned service I love it, just make sure you bring your ID I love bars like these but they tend to be a little rude, this one wasn't but always make sure to smile to your bartender in this part of California.”

“FANTASTIC! Had dinner with friends, everything was cooked to perfection. Love all of the choices. BUT! Had surprise birthday party for my hubby in the back room (20) and it was FANTASTIC!!! Server was superb, our group had enough room to move around visiting each other, everyone enjoyed their meal and it was better than we could have hoped for. “Stopped in today and I got the Chicken burrito supreme, corn on a stick and my wife had the grilled chicken tacos. The burrito was very good and was of a size that you couldn't put the whole thing in your mouth, you needed to at least take two bites, so it was a good size. The corn was well seasoned and very sweet and juicy. The only thing that could have made the corn any better was if the kernels were larger. We will definitely be back and try out something different.”

“We really enjoyed our experience here! The food was delicious and the service was impeccable— we had some high maintenance requests, and they were very accommodating. Also the cheese enchiladas are delicious! The mole sauce was so flavorful and the tortilla edges were crispy. Just a tip: ask questions!! They are very accommodating, but don’t write a nasty review because you assumed your dish would be a specific way. 10/10 definitely come if you’re in Corning!”

“This place is excellent. There's a line every morning, but they move it along nicely, and usually, you don't need to watch someone buy the last of the kind of donut you wanted. Don't despair if you do, though, because your second choice will be just as delicious due to their consistent quality. But there's usually plenty to go around, and unlike other bakeries, they continue cranking out the pastries throughout the day! Very nice people who are working hard to provide their neighbors with tasty treats.”
